Literally got there at 11:59pm and I get greeted saying it's closed. Not even 12:01 am and there's 2 cars ahead of me getting their order. I'm 9 months pregnant and work late and can't get food or just take my order for 1 minute. Lazy people wanna leave on the dot. read more

I might recommend them whenever they have ice cream, but they hurt my feelings when they played with my emotions by telling me that they COULD serve ice cream, but when we arrived, they told us otherwise. How hard would it have been this past Saturday to post signs that u'd run outta of the toast (until the following Monday!) essential to the cheese toast burger special that was advertised all over tv & radio?! But no. Better to have customers wait in line, burning gas, thinking they''d be baited already & order something else! Tacky & very unprofessional move, Sonic. I hope others u pulled that crap on did as we did & just drove off. That was our first & last time visiting ur store. read more

It was such a hot day after shopping that we stopped here for some shakes. I got the green apple slush and it was so refreshing! My husband got the toffee shake and that was pretty delicious as well. He also got a breakfast burrito that came with tator tots. I ate all of the tater tots, they were a small serving but it still made me happy. Service was fast and easy, they came to our car in roller skates and they give you the option to apple pay, use your card or pay in cash. I think I'll stop here more often now for their shakes. read more

I come here all the time, and today I paid in the carhop and the girl tried saying i didn't pay and got her manager, and were very rude when the receipt clearly shows i paid. I went to my bank account to show the manager that it even charged to my account and she goes then take your card, and left without saying anything else. Not the best customer service. read more

This was just gross. It's hard because the level of quality is not the same across the locations in this chain. I've had some really solid and tasty meals at some of their locations but I guess the bottom line is that I just need to avoid the whole chain if it's going to taste this bad and upset my stomach this much. It was kind of cold, greasy and just tasted bad. Everyone in my family agreed, including the ones who pushed to eat here. The service was fine and we ate in our car so I can't speak to the facilities. read more

Ordered at the stalls and checked to see what time stalls closed which on the app, stall, and drive-thru window say at midnight.we ordered no later than 11:15 06/19 and we revived attitude and that if we wanted to order we'd have to go through the drive-through. i wouldn't have a problem with this however, when my friend had said she had a stall pick up and it wasn't letting her check in she bluntly said "go through the dive-thru" in a tone. the workers are rude and should learn customer service for there clear incompetence read more

No. Just NO. FIRST OFF, as one of THEE most expensive fast food places in Menifee, you come to expect a certain amount of well, FOOD! If you're just ordering a shake or some other sweet fare, you're going to be satisfied, but the exception is their shot in the dark food prep. I believe they should have actual pictures of what the customers are ordering so that we can expect SOMETHING remotely close to it. People, to say money is tight is the biggest understatement for real, but it's imperative, EXPECTED to get the most for your food dollar because most if not every single time, it's the only meal you may be able to afford for your kids. Saying that, again, being REALLY low on funds, I asked my niece to get me a LARGE chili cheese fries that her and her mother would be SPLITTING for lunch and what she brought home was NOTHING to indicate that somewhere down in this empty cardboard canoe that is intended to hold actual LARGE CHILI CHEESE FRIES! Now, had I been there this little uh, oversight would have been easily corrected. You see, these pitiful dry potato sticks were over cooked, naked and even if we ate them, there wasn't much to these LARGE CHILI CHEESE FRIES! To those hard working kids and seniors who have no choice but to go back to work during these crappy times just to feed your family, we appreciate that you're allowed approximately 30 to get a drive-thru order on its way and we thank you for busting your backsides to make that happen most of the time. BUT, for those lazy people who's parents are riding you so hard by forcing you to get a job and you'd rather be ANYWHERE but where you are slinging hash for hard working Americans whose only meal you may be working on behind the scenes, deserve to get their moneys worth. So, suck it up, there's no "I" in team so work together with your teammates to make sure those dirty faced kids in the car with a mom at the wheel who probably couldn't afford anything for herself, or the three toothed senior who barely navigated the circle of the drive-thru who's living on what little the government pays them ONE TIME A MONTH, get their money's worth because they have no alternatives to watch you make them. We deserve for you to check your attitude at the door, or how crappy your girlfriend/boyfriend is treating you..or it's a Friday night and all your friends are out or you just wanna stick it to the "an" while you're debating what pronouns to settle on, SERVE YOUR CUSTOMERS WITH RESPECT AND DIGNITY. They deserve your best, not your attitude. Treat everyone with kindness because their food dollar can easily be spent somewhere else possible putting you out of a job. Oh, and here's the picture I'll leave you to think about: Our one meal for the day to share, LARGE CHILI CHEESE FRIES. Hungry bellies that night, but thankful for waking to another day to try all over again. GOD BLESS AMERICA. read more

So I didn't know the car hop speakers were closed to place new orders. So I attempted to order a bag of ice thru it. A snarky employee, who talked so fast I couldn't understand him, came on the speaker to explain the policy. I didn't understand what he said at all, so Confusedly I asked what he said. To which I got an even snarkier reply, also as fast as he could talk. When I attempted to clarify again what the hell he was saying, he told me to have a "sonnerific day" and turned off the speaker. Wow. I was so pissed that I left. He's not the man for that job. Post a sign maybe on the menu boards or something. This kid has no patience to explain the new ordering situation and has a snotty attitude - like I should KNOW all of Sonics new policy's. Get a sign & Keep the rude kid off the speaker. read more

NO, NO and NO. First, we live in a desert town - WHO eats in their car in this heat. But we tried. They were newish when we went. Everything went wrong. EVERYTHING. Service. Order. Timing. No point in mentioning it. Not good. read more

This is the fastest sonic drive thru service I have ever received. They were so kind and polite. I'm definitely coming back again because the staff here gives quality customer service! I typically like this location but I am starting to get frustrated. The last few times I've visited, they hand you your slush and have no clue which is which. Last night the car hop handed me my 2 slushes. I asked which one was which because they were the same color. She straight up said she didn't know and if it has a lime in it then it's the cherry limeade slush. Ma'am! My BF and I both got cherry limeade, his just had additional flavor added. We tasted both and it was so similar we could've figure which drink was which. I don't know what's going on here. They use to hand you your drink telling you which one it is. Go back to doing that please! read more

I'm not sure why this place has some bad reviews, and I didn't care to read them. This is about my third time coming here since moving to Hemet, and each time, I've always received great food along with great service. This time around, I took my girls and we ate at the drive-in. Their burgers are very big, so I ordered 1 Sonic Burger meal in which I split in half for my daughters. Me on the other hand, I ordered my favorite: the Ched R' Peppers. It is literally a meal within itself! They're huge and packed with the perfect amount of spice and yummy cheese. The girls really enjoyed their meal as well. I actually like this place better than my local Sonics. I love the drive there, and the food was very fresh. The servers were courteous as well. Before I left, I ordered something that truly excites me: a bag of ice! Yes, I know that sounds crazy that ice makes me happy, but Sonics has the best ice ever!! The bag is huge and only $3.25 with tax! If you're ever in the area and want a quick bite, I recommend going here. Great quality/quantity food along with service is always a plus. read more

Decided to take the kiddos and family to sonic before heading out for trick or treating.... Drive thru was quick , super great, friendly service. I wish the food was at least half way decent. We ordered 2 number 10 s , fried pickle fries, chili cheese tater tots, pretzel twist and 3 corn dogs . Almost $32.00 and the only edible thing.... the pickle fries. My toddler shook his head and handed me back his corn dog after 2 bites.. The tots were cold, and the chicken sandwiches inedible.. such a bummer since we typically love sonic. read more

This is so frustrating that I even have to write this. This location is 5 miles from my house and tonight I came here with my daughter to celebrate her straight A report card. I love the strawberry cheesecake master shake but the last time I ordered it, I got a plain old strawberry shake. Yuck! I thought there'd be no way for them to screw it up again so I ordered a medium strawberry cheesecake master shake. It was even confirmed on the ordering screen (drive-thru). Halfway home I decide to taste it ---damn it...they did it again!!! I hate strawberry shakes. Strawberry cheesecake is a totally different story. I just wish they would be more careful and get customer orders right. Disappointed and probably won't come here anymore. read more

When you're craving a late night treat where do you go? Sonic Ofcourse! Whether I'm in the mood for a big shake or an order of tots they've got me covered. My fiancé and I always love the drink menu here. My go to is an Oreo cheesecake shake and an order of tots, amazing. My fiancé likes the cherry limeade and the new red bull freeze. They have a great value menu and lots of variety on their full menu. My favorite on the value menus is probably the Chicken tender sandwich, so good with honey mustard. I love the car hop feel and the roller skate service. It gives you a feel of the 50s, something you don't see much of these days. Service is fast and usually always friendly. The drive thru line is usually fast moving, I've never waited more than 10 minutes which I'd say is great cause they get pretty busy! So head to Sonic to enjoy a burger and a shake, or watch them wheel it out to you in that old school style. read more

Another review that needs half stars. This would be a 3.5 Star review if possible. I am a huge fan of Slushee drinks and tator tots served in any form what so ever. That being said this place rocks. The burgers are OK not great but also not bad. The service sucks only because those mics they have for you to speak through are as bad as they get. Everything has to be repeated because they can't understand you inside. The biggest draw back is that this place is in Menifee...ouch must suck to live out there. I was only passing by and feel for the people that actually live in that city. May the force be with you...and the AC on high! Honorable Mention: Slushee flavors galore!!! They messed up my diet Cherry limeade a couple times but I've been here over 15+ times and have to say their fairly consistent quality and customer service wise. Its essentially always right and the quality is good and service is friendly. This is the best ran sonic I have been to. Just wanted to say thanks because other sonics (*cough* chino and Pomona locations *cough*) are terrible. So thank you guys for the good food and good service. read more

Parked in stall and pushed button. Digital screen reads that someone will be with us shortly. 5 min later, girl on skates comes by and offers us condiments, napkins, forks etc. another ten minutes. Still no one takes our order. We push the button a bunch of times and finally someone comes on and says if we wanna place an order to go to the drive thru. (After we witness many ordering from their stalls. We flag down girl in skates again asked what's up. She explained when busy they go drive through only. She skates off and then the car next to us starts ordering from their stall speaker!!! After telling us we couldn't when we waited over 15 minutes and that car just pulled in!! 7/31 about 8pm. Whoever is making the blasts needs to find a new career. Spent $7.60 on a medium Snickers blast. The whole thing maybe has a piece of Snickers about the size of a dime. I have gone to this Sonic Drive-In in Menifee several times and I always been met with excellent service. Yes, the employees are young but what else do you expect in this industry, it's not a corporate office. They are polite, professional and have provided me with never fail service. Every time I placed the straw way into the cup or had burst the foam cup, they kindly replaced the drink. Going there with my little ones have been so great especially since it's so convenient. F.... This place. My husband and I would come here once a week at least and feed our family of six.. hopefully your establishment doesn't bank on money because the way the customer service was today you might as well close your doors. My husband place an online order and sat in your parking lot and spoke to the car hop three times for 30 minutes.. you could not find the order and instead of saying hey, let's place the order again let's figure it out you let him sit there for 30 minutes and waste his time and waste your time. Were you should be making money rather than having somebody sit there for 30 minutes looking stupid. Shame on you. Hope you go out of business. Ice cream is terrible it says it's made with real cream and milk but it's more like overly whipped in their machine to the point where it's almost like butter and tastes like oil when you over whip cream it gets really fluffy and thick and taste oily so gross it makes you feel so full and ill you can't even finish it and just want to throw it out we both felt really bad during and after eating it When I ordered on the kiosk I had to Yell several times even though my face was right in the microphone They kept hearing me wrong. They couldn't make out my name and they couldn't make out the word yes then no prices or order showed up so I wasn't able to use my credit card because nothing showed up so the carhop had to help me and enter the ticket in but the staff are pretty nice. read more
