Growing up in Mexico, and coming from a family that had the same type of business, I've been looking for an authentic Mexican paleteria/antojos. This place is great. The owner and her team are really nice. I spoke to the person that makes the paletas (popsicles/ ice cream) and they make it from scratch. I've been to several locations like this in Menifee and non compare. Some locations aren't even owned by Mexicans nor Latinos. They just stole the concept. I highly recommend La Michoacana Que Rico! This place is a joke and untrustworthy. Not only are their prices ridiculous for the amount of food you get but they will also rob you blind. I went in today and ordered an esquite. Their esquite container display shows a bigger container than the one I got. I had actually ordered two, one for me and one for my child. One with chili and one without chili but extra butter. After I paid, I noticed on my receipt that I was charged different for each one. I also got charged for using my card to pay. Mind you, nowhere does it state on their premises that there will be an extra charge for any of that nor was I advised by the cashier. So I asked her why my charges for the corn were different and she said because I asked for extra butter. I let her know she should have told me it was going to cost extra then I could have just opted out. I also let her know that they should make customers aware of these extra charges. She said it was up to the owner. So I get home and the container is so small and not worth what I paid for if they want to talk about quality. Portions are very small and flavor was not all that great. Then I don't see the extra butter I paid for. I could've just made it at home for a lot less and better taste. Never going back again. Do yourself a favor, buy it from the raspado guys on the street or make it at home so you're not disappointed. At least their corn tastes so much better and worth the price. Yes, I get they don't pay space rent etc. but they're not taking advantage of their customers. read more

Good choice for something cold and sweet but the turkey and rice albóndigas are not as tasty as those made with beef. Maybe pozole might be a better choice? Either way, this place is still worth trying, no matter what you might order. Pay with cash - and save their 50 cent card fee. read more

Their extended hours for the summer are 10pm on Saturday and 9pm on Sunday. Very nice inside and clean. I like that they have a seating area inside and outside. I came in for three Raspados and the flavors I got were vanilla, mango and nuez, they were good but next time I stop by I will try the raspado with mango and chamoy !! Second time visiting ..... definitely tasty and the food so fresh. I love how they make everything fresh to order. I was feeling a little under the weather and she recommends green juice. That gave me all the nutrients I needed and I got a nice energy boost. The owner and staff members very helpful and patient with me because we anted everything on the menu and I couldn't decide. Very clean and organized establishment. I was especially impressed when I saw the owner making free smoothies for the UTurn for Christ employees next door and the way she engaged them. They were having a fundraiser and standing in the heat. She decided to get them something cold and healthy to drink. Just made me went to visit more frequently. The owner was amazing. She took her time to explain to us on her different menu options. She has different options of food from albondigas, ceviche, tostadas, tortas and much more. She is a one stop shop and reminds me of grandmas house. She explained that she doesn't use any artificial coloring and all her products are fresh. Definitely tasted the freshness in the raspado de vanilla. My son got fresas con crema and that was delicious as well. I got the bionico and the only thing I regret was not getting the bigger plate. I've gotten to many different places when having a sweet tooth but this one hit different. We will definitely stick to this place. It's hard to find a good spot now a days. When she purchased this business from the previous owner, she threw all their crappy products out and created her own from scratch. All natural and real ingredients. We accidentally found this place, as we were looking for a local thrift shop. Best mistake we've made in awhile! lol We have already been back twice since that first time and each time, the food and treats we've purchased have been nothing short of delicious. We've tried several different flavors of their self-made ice creams and so far, each has been a hit with our family. We've also stopped in for lunch and their tuna torta is perfection. But as good as their food and ice cream is, the best part of this establishment is easily their staff. Ordered from here through door dash today and I wasn't completely happy. I ordered an elote cup, nachos and 2 hotdogs. When my dasher got there to pick up the food he called and passed the phone to a worker at the restaurant who told me they had no elote that's a bummer that was the main snack I wanted. They also waited for the door dash driver to get their to communicate with me but they could have called me on their own before the driver got there so the order could be ready and so the driver and I weren't waiting extra time anyway I substituted for a bionico. The bionico wasn't that great to me everyone makes it different it has cinnamon I prefer without and if I would have known it had cinnamon I wouldn't have got it. Anyway my hot dog was okay it came cold and I only received 1 when I ordered 2. The nachos were good. I would expect if you don't have something a customer orders you would try to make sure everything else is perfect and double check the order. read more
