Food: it's a build your own frozen yogurt bowl place. They have a decent variety of options. I went with pineapple dole whip, my daughter had cotton candy and my son had a coconut and chocolate combo. Endless choices of toppings, from fresh fruit to cereal to candy. The only Fro-Yo place that I know of in Hemet. About a dozen of yogurt/sorbets to choose from. They change the flavors about every week and have seasonal flavors pop up as well. Service is always super fast and friendly. And if you ask they will be happy to give you sample cups to try everything out. The toppings are always full and fresh fruit is always tasty. So many to choose from. Overall the place is pretty well organized and clean and they always have a TV playing music or trivia questions in the background. This is a must stop on Friday or Saturday night. They price by weight so you can go heavy on the ice cream or heavy on the toppings, it's your choice. I have been patronizing Mickey's for several months and the service has been okay to good, depending upon the crew. Two nights ago I went in and the store had switched most of the yogurt offerings to a new vendor. It definitely wasn't appealing to someone like myself who has gluten and soy allergies and is health conscious. I was sorry to see the frozen custard was gone. Due to their recent changes, I asked if the dole and watermelon had soy or gluten ingredients. An older lady who appeared to be in charge offered to meet me at the yogurt dispensers and help me out. As she came out from behind the counter, she stopped to speak with 2 women. I Kept looking in her direction to see if she would acknowledge me in someway, but she never looked over to me. After five minutes of waiting and her never acknowledging that I was waiting, I left. I walked right past her and she didn't seem to care at all. This will be my last visit to Mickey's due to the change in yogurt and apparently bad staffing. I know many don't like to deal with people with allergies, I understand, but her rudeness was uncalled for, and the least she could've done was looked over at me and made some kind of positive gesture...but she never did. Is this Hemet??? The place had, arguably, the best chocolate FroYo I've ever enjoyed. Sumptuous, creamy goodness! Prices were by-the-ounce stupid high, but this ain't Thrifty's ice cream kids. A good toppings selection and a continuous parade of twenty-something's in small herds kept the place lively. In the city of no left turns (if you've been to Hemet, you know what I'm talking about) the westward trip down Florida required a little back tracking navigation to get to Mickey's, but it was worth the trouble. When i lived in Lake Elsinore Yogurtland was seriously 4mins away from my house so you know that was my spot. Sadly i found out that there is no Yogurtland in Hemet. So we decided to give this place a try. First con: they do not have sample cups for you to try whatever flavor you want. Instead their is the guy standing in the corner and if you want to try any flavor you have to ask him. He will serve you a sample, I know their is many reasons why they do this. But it actually makes people uncomfortable, I wanted to try 3 different flavors but instead i only tried 1due to the fact that he serves you the sample than waits next to you to for you to try it. Second Con: the oz is much muchhhhhh more here than Yogurtland. Thrid con: there yogurt seems like it is a water base yogurt not milk. Fourth con: there is no image next to the flavor name. Fifth con: you have to ask for the key to go to the restroom. This place is always clean, always consistent and the employees are always friendly. It's true their options for the actual yogurt flavors is fairly limited but I'm sure you'll find something you'll like. The good thing is that the yogurt itself is always tasty and doesn't taste super artificial with sugars and sweeteners like some places I have been. The toppings are fairly reasonable in selection and they have plenty of syrups and nuts to top off your treat just before weighing in. I'd like to see some more toppings added in such as pecans perhaps, unless they're around somewhere and I am just going crazy. Otherwise though, the toppings area is kept extremely clean and there is always plenty to take so long as you keep in mind that you're charged by weight. I have to say that each time I've been there (about 6 times now at the time of writing this review) the eating area is always immaculate. Someone always seems to be giving the machines a wipe down whenever they're not in use and I respect and appreciate such attention to detail. Don't forget that they also have smoothies as well along with Boba and they also have the ability to blend any ingredients that you choose together and you eat it with a spoon. I honestly forget what the second option is called. If you're coming here for the first time, head to the back right corner, grab an appropriate sized cup and just go to town. Enjoy!
