I order on the app and they consistently make me wait a considerable length of time for my order

I went here to get the $7 meal it's very good no complaints there I deduct a star for this reason But I had a friend with me that wanted to try lemonade fresher without the sparkle water in it but she tasted the sprakle water in it and it was yuck so she went inside for a exchange but the refund took forever why can't they just believe the customer and swap it for a better beverage Reason for another star removal And I say sonic restaurants should just ditch the vintage call box car parking lot it just makes more traffic and makes the employees slow at the job walking outside during this heatwave our climate ain't getting better so Sonic I demand a restructure there it will make wait times better If you have patience try Sonic read more

So decided to do an order through DoorDash I've already made the complaint there but for actual purposes and to not have the DoorDash driver be in trouble because this is something that they had no control over The employees are sonic do better. On the order is specifically said no mayonnaise on any of the items. And yet there is a godly amount of mayonnaise on the chicken sandwich which also the chicken sandwich was overcooked to the point of couldn't even bite into it. It was also tasting like a fish sandwich for whatever reason as if the oil was extremely old. Asked for extra pickles got got two pickles on that sandwich Got a double cheeseburger Junior asked for extra pickles got one pickle on that. Also ordered a large fry which also seemed underfilled. I can only say that the drinks were satisfying because they were actually done correctly But the food absolutely not it was disgusting. 1 star (would give 0 if I could) This Sonic is close to home, and unfortunately, it has disappointed me before--but I decided to give it another try. Big mistake. The customer service was terrible. I had to repeat my order multiple times because the employee couldn't hear me, and her attitude was rude and unprofessional from the start. No greeting, no manners, just a bad vibe overall. What really frustrated me was that after I finished placing my order, she casually mentioned they don't accept Apple Pay. That's something that should be communicated upfront, not after wasting a customer's time. Ordered two specialty lemonades, one had no flavor whatsoever which is very impressive and the other was nasty. Citrus limeade and passion fruit lemonade. We asked for them to replace our drinks which they kindly did with a sprite and a strawberry lemonade, first sip of that strawberry lemonade, the fruit was fermented and rotten. Sent the third drink back and just asked for a water. They kindly replaced it again and brought us a coupon for free tater tots . That expired December 2025. IT IS WHAT IT IS... lol. Sonic is always a good time when you pull up and order a fun drink and chill. I've had very good shakes, slushies, and beverages here. Some of the food is a bit underwhelming, like the "breakfast toaster". Think poor Jack in the Box breakfast quality. It's not gross or undercooked, it's just disappointing knowing that it can be much better. Now, this isn't to say all of the food is bad. I like the nuggets and burgers. They're a good pairing with a shake or cold drink. Also, the fries aren't half bad, I actually enjoyed them! My favorite thing about Sonic is the fact that breakfast is served ALL DAY. Yup, us night owls who wake up late can have a late breakfast haha. On the other hand, I wish this location was open 24/7, it's a community staple and people WOULD come. I think it's a missed opportunity closing at 11pm. I see this Sonic busy on the weekends. It's definitely an experience having that retro 1950s service of having your food come to your car. Honesty the only reason I'm giving my lunch 2 stars is that initial interaction with the employee that gave me my to-go order was attentive and made sure my order was correct before they heading back inside. I unpacked these burgers to find that the actual burger and cheese had been cooked way before it was assembled. The meat was about the same temperature as the veg. The cheese at one point was melted, but now that it's cold again it won't even stick to the buns. And, as you can plainly see the cheese has even begun to dry out and harden at the tips. I really hope this isn't SOP for Sonic, cuz it's gross. read more

We went through the drive thru ordered 2 Sonic cheeseburgers, onion rings and a small coke. We waited at the speaker for 4-5 minutes before placing that order after going back and forth with an inaudible employee. Finally after getting to the window and paying we checked our order and noticed there were no onion rings. Before bringing the mistake to their attention we checked the receipt and she failed to place it on the order. After we parked I realized the reason we d not partake in Sonic. The burgers suck. The burgers are so beefy and taste of iron that you need as much condiments as possible to make it palatable. Thank God that we had water downed cokes to wash it down. I'm not a Sonic fan. I would not recommend this business at all, came here 3 times and each time was an hour wait atleast. The food was cold and 2 out of the 3 times they either forgot food or gave us the wrong food which prolonged the wait time over again. I did a mobile order. It was fairly early (2 cars in drive thru and about 5 in stalls). I go to the stall checked in on the app. And the stall and app shows updates on the order process. So I'm thinking hey it's early. My kid will have a quick lunch no hassel and I'll be on my way WRONG WRONG WRONG!!! A car pulls up besides me and did the same process. Yet he got 2 seperate orders ( he ordered at the stall as well) and his food came out before mine. I see the carhop and am like ok this is my order. NOPE WRONG AGAIN! I had to push the order button and get placed on 'hold' and by this time there were NO cars in drive thru after having to wait I tell them it's been 20 mins I never recieved my food After waiting about 3-5 extra mins they bring my food and it is. COLD! At this point I was too upset to even deal with them. My toddler needed to eat and I was just done These people need to be retrained or just shut this location down I can NOT WAIT for the San Jacinto Sonic opens and am hoping that I get a better exerperince to see what San Jacinto Sonic has for customer service. At every other Sonic I have been to, the wait times are 5 to 10 minutes, 15 at most when it is pretty busy. Here, you are looking at 20 to 25 minutes with three cars in the drive thru line, and 35 to 45 minutes when it's even slightly busy. I have no idea why this location is so horrendously slow, but I have been here between 5 and 10 times and it is literally always like this. The food is ok as long as it doesn't get kinda cold as you wait, but I have to go with 1 star because this is a fast food restaurant with sit-down restaurant wait times. read more

I stopped here to get my father-in-law a burger. There were two cars in the drive-thru ahead of me. The first car ordered and moved to the window. Two more cars joined the line behind me. I pulled up where I couldn't get out of line anymore. My mistake! I hear the person in the store tell the lady in the car in front of me to wait a minute. That minute grew to twenty minutes then twenty-five before she was able to order. I finally ordered after being in line for 30 minutes. It took them an additional fifteen minutes to prepare my order and hand it to me through the window. Here is how long the wait was. After waiting 10 minutes my wife walked to WalMart for a few things. Mind you this happened two days before Christmas. She was back in the car before I got our food. Top top it off, the food was meh! I got in the drive-through line with about six cars in front of me today thinking "what can it take maybe 10-15 minutes"? One hour later I was at the window. They were rude, slow, my tater tots were smashed and the girl at the window argued with me about my request for a fork! There was no fork in the bag.
