Ugh. First, let's talk hours. If you serve breakfast, OPEN BY 7:00 AM! Nobody that has a real life (work, responsibilities, etc.) can be bothered to wait beyond that for breakfast food. That's one of my biggest complaints about Sonic in general; they just don't open early enough! This Sonic location, though, is mediocre. It's not that it's *bad* per se, but it's just...lacking. Their service isn't the best (overall), and the speed of order production/delivery is also subpar. I could understand if the food was coming out amazing (like I've had at a few Sonic locations in the past), but it's not. It's just mediocre Sonic. I think the three things they consistently get right (and do well) are: flavored drinks, corn dogs, and their boneless wings. Haven't had a bad experience with any of those menu items yet, and they generally don't take forever. But, I hope they fix the rest of their experience. Open earlier, and either improve food quality in the amount of time taken to serve it, or just get it out faster and keep it as-is. read more

For the life of me, can't understand why people line up for this place. I totally understand In-n-Out but not Sonic's. Have been here twice since it opened, first time to try their least expensive (i.e.value menu) burger. Always like to compare others to Carl's Big Burger, which is a good value, especially with the senior discount. Needless, to say, Sonic's paled by comparison. Tried it a second time recently because the wife saw the TV ad on their twofer double patty burger special. They definitely did not live up to the hype or the size of the burgers Tom and Jerry were eating in the commercial. And they were thrown together, similar to the one I mentioned in my Elsinore Wendy's review. Seriously, what is so hard about getting the bun halves and patties to line up, and keeping the dressing and condiment INSIDE the burger?? I guess for some people it IS rocket science. read more

I am a sonic regular, I always use the app so I can get my drinks 1/2 price. They have a new drink, sour patch slush float that is my new addiction, it's like drinkable candy. One of the carhops has been there forever, she knows the kids and I by name and I love how she always rolls by to say hi when she's working. They've hired a bunch of new kids that are training and mess up a bit, but that's part of being a trainee and starting a new job. They work all day on roller skates in the hot sun, everyone should cut them all a major break. read more

The girl working the drive thru window was so lovely and the food was great! Such a nice Sonic experience!

I'm reading these reviews and to tell you the truth, most of these low reviews must be from people who have low standards of courtesy and severe complexes. Not in a good way. Sonic which I visit at least once a week if not more have always been super nice, super fast and super good! Car Hops roller skating to your car with a smile and NONE of them look like convicts. Sheesh people you live in the Inland Empire not Laguna Beach. It's the reviews from the wanna be high class but can't lose the trailer trash attitude that makes these "1 Star Reviews". They are everywhere around Menifee LOL!!!! I grew up in Moreno Valley, then moved to the OC for over 18 years, now moved to Menifee. So I know trailer trash and the wannabe high society moms like the ones that shop at our ghetto TARGET store. Makes me Laugh! read more

This is my ultimate favorite place to grab a midnight snack! No matter what the time I find my visit is always a pleasure! And to my surprise if this is more than one car in line they will bring out your order by car hop in the drive thru line! Now to me that's super sonic service! The staff is always helpful courteous friendly and efficient! Hey they even give my dog a treat! Except for when they run out. The still apologize and are hopeful that they will have some our next visit! So I definitely don't want you guys to believe that your experience will be as bad as those that complain or as super sonic as mine! Make up your own mind by visiting on your own time! Remember we are all far from perfect. Have a super sonic day!!! CyA read more

This is how going to Sonic went, the employees were nice and courteous BUT! Watermelon is no longer a slush flavor they stock... They ran out of lemonade... No cheese for the soft Pretzels... Like who is running the stocking? And what think tank thought "yea watermelon needs to go" How do you run out of most of stuff by 1pm read more

Stopped here on the way home and everything we had was pretty gross. The bread (burger and cibatta bread) was so stale we couldn't even force ourselves to eat half if it. The weird part was we were there right At 11:00 am, everything should have been fresh, you'd think. At least the tots are always good. read more

One night me and my brother got stuck in the parking lot because the car turned off and wouldn't turn back on. We stayed there for half an hour. Then my brother opened the hood of his car a employee came by and give us a jump from her car and went back Into the restaurant. She came back with ice cream cones and two burgers for us since it was getting late. My brother wanted to pay her back she refused to take the money after we thanked her and the manager there, the food and ice cream was also really great. read more

So we saw a commercial for a new product that just came out so we decided at about 9pm Saturday evening to go try it. Waited in the incredibly long drive thru line only to be told they ran out of ingredients to make it. I mean, who doesn't order enough product for a new menu item. Sounds like someone needs more training on ordering enough product, this wasn't the first time. Not sure if we'll return, how many chances do you give a place? read more

Shakes were absolutley awful! Waste of money! My husband and I usually don't get shakes but tonight we craved something sweet and decided to stop at Sonic's. Horrible mistake! I ordered the small cookie dough shake and he ordered the oreo cheesecake shake. Neither shake had been mixed! My husband was enjoying his on the ride home and gagged from getting chunks of the awful sour mixture from the bottom! I checked mine at home and the same... very disappointed. Never again. read more

Ice cream is good but service sucks. They make you go through through the drive thru and only allow grub hub attendees order at curbside. It is a absolute nightmare. No direction, drivers are lost confused of what to do. Employees standing around outside laughing. Horrible read more

I was picking up an order for Uber Eats from here and on the app it says to use the drive thru. I go in the drive through and they told me to go to a stall. I let them know at the stall that I'm waiting for an Uber eats order and the name and they said they would bring it out. Multiple people come and order around me and leave with their order multiple times. I waited almost 30 minutes and kept trying to flag down the workers to come help me and they weren't. Finally I asked someone where my order is she checks on it and brings it right out. Couldn't even say sorry or anything. Not only did they waste my time but I also lost out on money I could've been making in that 30 minutes. This is also a huge inconvenience for the customer waiting for their order. Really disappointed. read more

Went to sonic tonight for a milkshake. Get all the way home, go to take a drink and this comes up the straw. Needless to say it went in the trash. Not only am I pissed that I wasted money on something that had god knows what in it, now I don't even get to drink my shake. read more

Worst service ever. Twice in less then a week tried ordering thru the stall service. Waited 10+ min just to be told all stalls are closed and only drive thru is taking orders. But yet the 5 other car that drove up to stalls were able to place there order. Asked to see manager and the girl started to laugh. Un except able service. read more

I came here for my last cheat day wanting my sonic blast, pulled up at 9:38pm and they were closed but the hours says 10pm, called murrieta a gentlemen answered and said they close at 10pm tonight for the holidays and same for the Menifee location, well I don't know why in the heck they are closed at 9:38pm maybe they had a very important New Year's Eve party to attend. Can't believe I was so excited to try the footlong steak dog item only to find they charged us for a 6 inch. They didn't want to trade it for a larger one or refund me my money who's running this sick joke of workers that get orders wrong. As well before they handed me someone else's order with a footlong version of what I was going to get. Only for them to take it back. She even read back the order correctly but what we were handed was totally wrong on top of that a whole medium order was supposed to be a large. 2 kinds of disrespect in one night. Thanks for nothing I guess. You welcome guys read more

Normally we love this place but this evening at about 9:40, we were in line in the drive thru and heard a young female employee yelling insults about some of the customers that were parked to order, and a whole slew of obscenities to her fellow co-workers, some of which included threats about the customers, saying she was going to "kick their ass". When she referred to the customers as "retards", we decided to pass on ordering and just drove out. It will be a while before we come back. read more

It was my first time here the food was really good and the costumer service was great love to come again

Very very disappointed that after I go and spend $60 on food for my family they completely fucked up my order and didn't give me two of items that she charged me for. Every other time I've gone they've always given me what I ordered. Not blaming anyone but they need to check and tell customers what's in each bag for families that have large orders. read more

Kind of bummed. I did a delivery order. My son got 3 salsas (asked for ketchup in notes for that and his tots and got none)for his tiny burrito but I got 1 marinara sauce for a large order of cheese sticks and 1 ranch for an order of 6 jalapeño poppers. Needless to say I won't eat them w out sauce. I'm a sauce person so half the order is wasted. Plz don't be so greedy with sauces. read more

I don't know if I'm the only one but I'd much rather pay $0.25 more for something to keep the quality the same than pay the same price and get crappy quality. My family and I don't go out much because we have a decent amount of people. So going here is always special. I've lived near this store for 3 years and have never had an issue. We ordered 4 blizzards yesterday and got 4 cups with vanilla ice cream with hardly any toppings. Then 3 of them had stale candy on them!!! My kids were so upset and we didn't realize it till we got home. So I called them to let them know the candy went bad. The manager was so rude and was like... ok what do you want me to do about it!?!? honestly I didn't except anything but that pissed me off. So I wanted new ones. Fast forward to today and the manager today was throwing a fit over it because the manager last night didn't right now how many blazes I needed. While he was holding my receipt. ‍ so after refusing to replace my daughter blizzard I asked for a refund since that's not what I ordered. I can take the $4.00 it cost for a MINI blizzard and get a few vanilla ice creams at McDonalds!! The blizzards from BOTH last night and today had candy dust in it! No chunks at all!! ‍ very disappointed and will not be going back. Much rather go to McDonald's or drive to DQ in Murrieta. read more

Horrible!! First thing I told the lady was I had never ordered a slushie or been to Sonic before. Just told her that I wanted a slushy with Nerds and smallest one they had, she asked what flavor I said lemon Ends up being almost $4. I asked her how it went from $1.19 to almost $4 and she acted like I was bothering her, asking her manager, rolling her eyes, extremely rude!! Tells me that how much the lemon ones are I told her I didn't have to be lemon just wanted an inexpensive slushie for a 4 year old little girl 10 minutes later finally got it. This sonic is the worst sonic I have ever been to, I got here at 10:50 when they close at 11 and the manager Rebecca was putting the cone behind the person in front of me and claimed that I would not be able to order here, there was still 10 min left until they closed. Manger was rude and was not customer service friendly. VERY RUDE AND POOR SERVICE!!!! read more

The food was tasty and the man that came to the car was really good. My only complaint was the girl taking the order. To me she was abrupt and didn't want to take the order. I've been in business for years and the customer always comes first. If I was her manager I would take her off taking orders as she has no empathy or compassion. I don't need either when I'm at Sonic but Chick fil La has staff and employees that appear to care about their services. This girl on December was not the best. Not even close. read more

Crowded, high price and no quality control honestly I do not get the hype this place is getting. We waited 20 minutes in line at 8:45pm to get our food. It was $20 for two sandwiches, two drinks and one side of tater tots. I told them I can't have bread, I have celiac disease. They say they can't lettuce wrap it so they just put it in a paper tray which is fine. Then I get all the way home and realize it's breaded chicken! At least I have tater tots. Oh wait there a total of 6 in this tiny box! Their drinks are good ... That's it. Thank God Menifee has alternatives to this place. read more

Who doesn't love Sonic right!!! Customer service is terrible, and they are very slow..

The food was food. But, The drive through was very slow and the cashier gave me an attitude when I asked for ranch and BBQ sauce. The customer service was not very good. And they forgot to add an item in our bag so I had to drive all the way back to get it once I realized it was missing. read more

Always great customer service, and the soft serve ice cream is always the best option!

First off I'd like to say that sonic is a terrible fast food establishment who also lacks consistency in their quality of food. They also suck balls when it comes to receiving orders online because there is a 100% chance they will get your orders wrong! read more

9/23 around 10:20 I was craving some sonic chilli cheese fries, mozzarella sticks & a master shake. I waited about 15 minutes in the drive thru just to be told my order still wasn't done yet. She asked me if I wanted a refund, I said yes. I got my refund back in all singles when I paid with my debit card. I was really disappointed in this experience. 4 cars behind me got there meals and left. While I was still waiting for chilli fries. My shake + mozzarella sticks was finished by the time she told me it still wasn't ready. But here's the best part, they didn't have Oreos or or strawberries as options available. I wish I could just give them MAYBE half a star. I usually like to give people the benefit of the doubt but I am just very disappointed with customer service, I felt disrespected. Sorry, but here's 1 star read more

I like being able to drive up and sit in my car, take my time looking at the menu. It is a big menu. The hamburgers are good and so are the tater tots. I didn't try any of the deserts because they look like they contain a ton of bad food dies. The kids serving were nice but different ones come up to the window way too much and surprise you. FOOD SABOTAGE. I would give a zero if I could. I ordered a small fry and a root beer float. We arrived at 855 pm on Thursday 6/22/17. We ordered 3 mini shakes, 1 small shake, and 1 ice cream slush. 40 minutes later they came rolling out. When she arrived she didn't have enough straws and had to go back. That took another few minutes. I felt bad for the car hop because she was on the receiving end of my frustration. We won't be back. Man I'm pretty disappointed. I'm not the get on yelp and complain type but people need to know this. The first time I ordered here it was amazing. Presentation was good and food. Last night I ordered and I am sick today. The presentation appeared good but the taste was off. My stomach started cramping shortly after taking a few bites. I didn't even finish eating my hot dog because I tasted something peculiar. Turns out it was mold. How is this happening? Come on people throw out the old stuff because people are buying your food and it is dangerous to their health. That's not right. We pay we should get food that atleast won't give us food poisoning. Wish I knew who was in charge of this doing. I hope it was just an innocent mistake. read more
