I tried the mango base the first time I went and the coconut base the second time. I much preferred the mango base. The coconut one seemed like it would go with more of the ingredients but it felt like eating sorbet or something less healthy seeming than the mango base. My bowl was made within 5 minutes probably. It's a quick, relatively healthy snack. Not a meal. Also a nice healthier treat option rather than ice cream.

Now onto the review~ The bowls are absolutely delicious! There are sooooo many bases to choose from, it's almost too difficult to make a decision. We had the CoCo Power bowl with a coconut base, and a Nutaya bowl, but subbed the Nutella for almond butter. I also had 2 different bases, coconut, and banana. Both of which were delicious! All of their bases are gluten & dairy free so a huge plus for someone with food allergies. You can also request the gluten-free granola. The ingredients are super fresh and your bowl is made to order. They definitely encourage substitutions. The girls are extremely knowledgeable about each bowl and are happy to give suggestions. We met the manager and she was awesome as well. I have a couple of observations~ Since the bowls are really BIG, it would be great to have two different sizes. Also, the condiments, like cocoa nibs, almond butter, coconut flakes (etc) are pretty sparse. (Fruit was plentiful) It would be nice to have a bit more of those included. I found myself with a lot of base and not a lot of the other goodies. Other than that, this place ROCKED!! I'm looking forward to going back to Orlando and trying our Playa Bowls shop.

I planned this trip because I needed a place to work for a few hours today and was really looking forward to a day of treats and coffee and wi-fi. Well I got 1 of those wishes! I did get my Large Decaf Mocha with almond milk. Thats my go-to. There wasn't really much choice on fresh baked items- I didn't even see any but they do boast a muffin top. I probably should have gotten one because it turns out the food selection isn't theirs but a microwaveable biscuit sandwich that was wrapped in paper with a sticker on it like you'd find under a heat lamp or in the freezer section of a gas station. It looked and tasted like microwave food. I thought about taking a photo but needed to focus on work. The espresso wasn't bad but it wasn't as good as I make at home. And the real bummer? The wi-fi didn't work. The other woman who came in to work had to leave but I just toggled to my phone and stuck it out. Parking? Plenty of spaces Food? Don't bother Coffee drinks- sure, why not Service? Yes! 5 stars on the service. Loved the girl who rang me up and noticed the other girl offered a woman a stamp card which is always cool to rack up free drinks. Was jealous at first but I don't think I'll be needing a punch card - no mojo between us hehe I heard them talking to several drive thru customers too and they were super sweet! They have at least 10 people seating inside the store. They are selling tea sets as well if you are looking for a set. The staff here are amazing. The cashier was super friendly, and all the workers were really attentive. I placed my order and had it ready in under 5 minutes! There's plenty of parking available since it's in a shopping center, though it is shared with other businesses. Still, I've never had trouble finding a spot. Also, tip is optional, which is nice if you're just grabbing something quick. Highly recommend if you're in the area and craving something sweet or refreshing!

I usually opt for traditional boba but this week I elected to have something different…read more I ordered a boba punch which is a drink that typically includes boba, a type of chewy tapioca ball, and a fruit punch flavor. I also added popping boba, which are fruit-flavored bubbles made with a different process than traditional boba. The drink was bright and slightly tart which can accredited to the popping boba. This drink is quite refreshing and not as heavy as the traditional boba drinks. I also purchased two traditional black milk teas as this is what Thing Two likes. Black milk tea is the most classic boba tea flavor, making it one of the best flavors to me anyway aside from Thai milk tea. It's a delightful combination of black tea and sweetened milk blended to create a smooth and velvety drink. Most black milk teas are made with Assam black tea, known for its robust, full-bodied taste, to stand up to the milk without becoming diluted. The simplicity of this drink makes it easy to customize, and it pairs well with virtually any topping or add-in. Thing Two enjoyed her boba drinks as well half of one of my drinks (ughs). We ordered two sandwiches, a smoothie, a juice and a six dollar bag of chips and our bill was $76. That's a lot of money for two sandwiches, a smoothie, 1 juice and a bag of chips. We could've gone to some fine dining restaurant for $76. The juice was exceptional, my son liked his smoothie. The sandwiches were good. They weren't amazing, but they were good. They were very overpriced! So as for atmosphere and customer service this is an exceptional place to be. I just wish the prices were lower because if they were, I'd come here every day! I will be back for juice, but I can safely say I will never be taking anyone here for lunch. Not at these prices. Oh, they also have a rewards program. My friend really loved her smoothie. While the server was nice and friendly, he was utterly overworked. He was making the drinks and ringing folks up at the cash register. Eight people were in the shop a the same time and it took a while to get everyone's orders and to ring them up. He took all the busyness in stride and did not let the crowd effect his process. It appeared to a spellbound environment for customers. Everyone got served and appeared happy. Also, the server acted as though this was standard fare for him. All in all...everyone seemed happy.
