I usually hit up DQ for a soft serve cone, but today I opted for a couple of tacos! They were pretty good! Kind of like Taco Bell used to be. Real meat, lettuce, tomatoes & cheese. Fresh crunchy shell too. Fast service at the drive thru, and even a puppy sundae for my pooch!

Over all it was good here. The store was very clean and welcoming. The food was made right there and then. Everything came out fresh and hot. The service wasn't too bad the kid up front didn't seam to want to be there but he wasn't rude or anything like that. So overall I can't complain lol.

Dairy Queen has been around forever. Some locations are very good, and some are downright nasty. This location is good. The staff is very friendly, the dining area is clean, and the food is good. They still have a good burger, steak fingers, and chicken fingers, and the ice cream, well it's still the same smooth creamy deliciousness it has always been for years.

Easy to get to, this unique and historical location will not disappoint. The syrupy raspberry and new Oreo Mocha liquor-like blizzards have good flavor and pass the upside down test. The workers are professional and the manager has a good sense of humor. They keep social distancing and wear gloves and masks in this clean eatery. They also have a few TVs, a soda machine and an antique root beer barrel. Based on my visit I would return. Enjoy!!

You can't go wrong with a Blizzard on a hot Texas day. If your hungry grab a hunger buster. That's what I like about Texas.

Are Orange Julius products still offered at this location? If not, what happened? Thank you!

Another old time, home cooking type diner, with generous portions, fast friendly service, and small town country ambiance. A must stop if you're tired of the big city/chain type eateries, where the customers are more interested in their phones/laptops, than their dining companions. The Hop Queen got the schnitzel, which was a solid, stick to your ribs choice. The two sides, homemade mashed potatoes, and the squash were almost like déjà vu flavour, back when we were kids. I got the 4 Alarm burger, and it was tasty, spicy and filling. Great onion rings, which I am partial too, were nice and crunchy, held up well (no "bite and pull all the onion out problems"). Good enough, and scenic enough country drive, to make this a destination spot. Check out the daily specials, looks pretty inviting!

Some of the menu can be a little confusing. There are some items that come with two sides that do not mention that. And with the burgers you have to pay for sides separately. We opted for a chips and salsa, meatloaf (with greens and mashed potatoes as sides), a burger (fries cost extra), and chicken strips with broccoli and another side that I forgot. Chips and salsa were bad, but salsa needed a little salt. Greens were not fresh, potatoes were bland--gravy not good. Meatloaf wasnt bad. Burger was just okay. Chicken strips were just okay as well. Looks like they have a beer garden outside and being that it is a German/Texan fusion type spot maybe they do some time of events/entertainment...not sure. Would be interesting though. The food was mediocre and bland and the service not that great. They charge a fee to use card--but also do not give the coin portion of your change--which I kinda feel is another fee just to pay cash. Last I checked they still make nickels, dimes, and quarters. This spot is a little out of the way so I don't think that we would return.

Fries: crispy, crunchy, hot, fresh, salty, overall great fry. Onion rings: one of the best I've had. Crispy, crunchy, hot, fresh, salty, good onion flavor. Green chile pepper burger: It can go head to head with any burger chain, Hopdoddy or Whataburger. To me it's in the same top tier of burgers. The bun has to be Martins potato bun soft nice chew with a hint of egg flavor. Toasted on both sides so they got it done right. The beef patty has to be 80/20 maybe that's why it's beefy and moist in the center. The mayo mixed with the spicy green peppers adds just layers of flavors. When you bite into it, you get the soft bun immediately you get that kick from the green peppers then you get that creaminess from the mayo, and then it all comes together with that beefy flavor from the patty. The thick cuts of pickles, tomatoes and lettuce really adds freshness that the burger needs because it's very heavy and rich. It has an umami and has that crave factor. They selected the right onions, red, the red onion goes well with the green chile. The zing from the red onions adds more flavor. The meal is not cheap to say, $15 for a burger is up in price but you get what you pay for and to me, based on the location, based on the overall freshness, it's worth it. It's worth paying a higher amount to get a higher valued meal. If you want ranch, you have to ask for it and plus no extra charge.
