My parents especially enjoy their cakes and can only have certain flavors, which is why we have continued coming back for so long. Unfortunately, over the last couple of years, our experience with the customer service has changed. The staff has often come across as unfriendly, and ordering a cake has sometimes been unnecessarily difficult. We live about 20 minutes away, and we've been asked to come into the store just to place an order, making it a 40-minute round trip before having to return again for pickup. I wish there were an easier way to handle confirmed orders over the phone. This most recent experience, however, was especially disappointing. I reserved a cake three days in advance for my mom's birthday. I clearly mentioned that I would be picking it up in the evening and provided my credit card information to hold the cake. On the day of her birthday, I called about 30 minutes before leaving home to pick it up. I was then told that my reserved cake had been sold to someone else because I hadn't picked it up earlier. I understand that misunderstandings and mistakes can happen. What I had a harder time understanding was why the cake was sold when I had specifically said I would be coming in the evening and had provided my credit card information to secure the reservation. What disappointed me even more was how the situation was handled. When I tried to explain what I had been told at the time of ordering, the conversation became argumentative rather than focused on finding a solution. When I mentioned that our family had been customers since 2006, the response was, "All our customers are old customers." I found that response dismissive and unnecessary. I wasn't asking for special treatment because we've been customers for so many years. I was simply expecting the cake that had been reserved for my mom's birthday--or, if a mistake had been made, an apology and some effort to make things right. Unfortunately, neither happened, and the conversation became frustrating enough that I eventually ended the call. What made this particularly upsetting was that the cake was for my mom's birthday. She specifically enjoys their eggless ice cream cakes, which is why I made sure to reserve the right flavor three days ahead of time. Being left without the cake we had planned for put a damper on an important family occasion. I also remember when the owner/founder was more present at the store, and our experience with the service was much better. I genuinely wish the customer service today reflected the positive experiences that kept our family coming back all these years. The cakes themselves have been a family favorite for a long time, and I want to be fair about that. But good products also need to be backed by reliable and respectful customer service. After being a customer since 2006, this experience was unfortunately the point where I decided it was time for us to go elsewhere.

As far as the food goes, My daughter had the kids chicken fingers which were so overdone they were barely edible. I had the coney dog, it was fine. My son had the hot dog fine as well. No napkins were brought to our car even though I asked for some, they said they were in the bag. They weren't. We didn't feel like eating in the car and it was a nice day so we went to the patio area. Big mistake. An employee apparently thought it was a good idea to have an argument with what I can only assume was his significant other 10 feet away. Both of them cursing their heads off. I was not amused. I went to find the manager who couldn't have been more than 17 years old. He was more concerned with helping in the kitchen. In my opinion he did not know how to handle the situation or he was simply afraid to confront the situation hoping that it would dissolve itself. I had to ask 3 times for him to finally come out and speak to his employee. At that point one waitress apologized and another employee apologized while trying to laugh it off. Management needs to fire that employee and perhaps take some management classes. I will not be back to this location. read more

I came here at 2:27am. I tried ordering three drinks through the app so me and my friends can get the 1/2 off deals. I also redeemed my 1/2 boneless coupon however when I tried to process it, the app said the store was closed. So I went to the drive through and told the guy, JOEY!!!, that the app says the store is closed. WITH THE NASTIEST ATTITUDE HE TOLD ME THERES NOTHING HE CAN DO. Whereas a few days ago a girl fixed it for me. She added the 1/2 off prices easy. I believe just because he had a long day or was working all day he was upset. BUT BITCHH, THATS NOT MY FAULT!!! If you cannot work until late hours then QUIT. PERIODTTTT! Joey needs to fix his attitude, it wasn't for my best friends I would've spazzed. We came here from having a good time. TATER TOTS AND SOFT SERVE!!! I mean seriously, how can a place be bad if they have those two things. Yes this is a chain and yes it is simple food, but for those of us who only get to come here when they visit home, it is a definite must. Even though I was there during 95 degree weather and it was totally humid, I tried my damdest eating a soft serve vanilla that was MELTING and flowing like a river, that is not even an exageration, it was that bad. WORST SERVICE!!!! Who EVER manages this store at this location should be fired!!!! It is 10pm, they're 7 cars in drive thru, 8 cars in the pull up menu and I have been waiting over 18 minutes to be introduced and asked if I am ready to order!
