Don't be fooled by the long drive-thru lines; this place is overrated. The chicken tenders lean more tender than crispy; another couple of minutes in the fryer would help. Even so, they come out bland and underwhelming. The fries are forgettable, and the house sauce is just okay. Overall, not worth going out of your way for.

Decided to try this place since they opened it's always crowded which is a good sign it's good. Did the drive thru although you can sit in a small area outside or inside. Placed my order and got my food. The decision was unanimous: it's delicious! Really really good chicken, great sauce. Really good coleslaw. Fries were good, don't really need the Texas toast. I would definitely recommend it. Prices comparable. Hope they put more in Middlesex county

Overrated. They were packed but got my Mobile order timely. Will not return. I was short in time with 4 boys, so I order the app and sat in to eat. I asked the worker there if I can have some plates or one of those black platter to eat on. They looked at me funny and went on to and said I would need to check with the manager. Manager looks at me weird and decided to give me 4 huge plastic container to eat with.

I went to the new Raising Cane's in Edison and it was PACKED. We literally had to watch tables and wait for people to get up just to find a seat. I will say though, the line actually moved pretty fast and the staff looked like they were trying to keep up with how crazy it was. The inside looks really nice and decorated well. It was a little messy but honestly expected because everyone was shoulder to shoulder. Before I even sat down I went back up to buy an extra sauce and waited about 5 minutes. By the time I got back to the table my food was already kind of cold. Unfortunately I had a bad experience with the food. I was eating my fries for a couple minutes and noticed there was a hair underneath them. That pretty much made me stop eating and I ended up throwing the rest away. I know they just opened and it's insanely busy right now so I'm hoping it was just an off moment. The staff really was moving fast and trying. I'd probably try again later once the hype calms down.

Pretty good but a bit lackluster. Super crowded and so LOUD. The music was blaring like a club. They're relatively new to the area so there'll be a ton of hype for a while. I last had Raising Canes 15 years ago in Boston and it's just like how I remembered it. Ordered the 3 finger meal. The chicken was greasy and the breading was falling off and a touch soggy. The crinkle cut fries were underdone and needed salt. The sauce is yummy (mayo ketchup sauce with some other flavor). The lemonade is super sugary. Service was great. Bathroom was average clean. Fast turnaround time.

Do yourself a favor and order ahead! The hype for Raising Cane's is real. I've been excited for it to open since trying it for the first time in Nashville. Apparently so is everyone else because I've never not seen the line wrapped around for miles! We went on a Monday afternoon and ended up mobile ordering while there, which was quicker than anticipated. The drive thru line and dine in lines were wrapped around. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor casual seating options, but there was not one free table. I liked the outdoor seating area setup and the fact it's covered. Our food traveled well home and was thoroughly enjoyed. The chicken was fresh and flavorful. The Cane's sauce really makes it, honestly. I'll be back but likely waiting for the newness to wear off. Highly recommend.

Raising Cane's is exactly what it promises no frills, good-quality chicken done really well. The chicken tenders were hot, crispy on the outside, and juicy inside. The toast was buttery and surprisingly good, and the fries were solid. Of course, the Cane's sauce is the star and ties everything together. Service was fast and friendly, even during a busy time, and the place was clean and well organized. The limited menu keeps things moving, which I appreciate. The only reason for four stars instead of five is that the menu is very basic if you're not in the mood for chicken tenders, there aren't many options and the fries can be hit or miss depending on timing. Overall, this is a great spot when you want quick, satisfying comfort food without overthinking it. I'd definitely come back and would recommend it for a casual meal.

Central Jersey's first Raising Cane's location welcomed the public with a grand opening today in the space where Hanmi Bank used to be on the southbound side of US 1. The first 100 customers to order a combo meal for dine-in were given a Cane's beanie and a box combo card. As at other Raising Cane's grand openings, a drawing was held for a "free year" of food (which is actually just 3 free box combos per month for 12 months). I ordered my box combo at the front counter for dine-in and was given my drink of half-and-half iced tea while I waited for my food, which took less than 5 minutes to arrive. I recommend eating your chicken tenders in-store while they're still hot for the best experience, or at the very least within 30 minutes if you're getting takeout. Reheated Cane's doesn't taste quite as good. The front counter area with the cash registers was pretty crowded since it's also where customers pick up orders. Dine-in orders are served in a plastic basket while to-go orders are packaged in a clamshell case and paper bag. Store employees roamed around asking customers for feedback and wiping down tables as soon as they finished eating. The inside of the store has a cozy setup with a small dining room with enough seating for about 30 to 40 people. Seating options include counter-height tables with wooden benches and standard-height tables with faux leather booth seats. The partly covered patio outside also has additional benches and tables. The pickup shelf for to-go orders is located by the main entrance next to the restaurant's front counter which has two cash registers. The drink/condiment/utensil station is located on the opposite side of the cash registers in the corner of the room. The soda machine has a very limited selection of Coca Cola sodas (mostly full sugar) and the bubbler drinks offer self-serve iced tea, in both sweetened and unsweetened varieties. Unfortunately, there are no fountain drink options that are both sugar-free and caffeine-free, except for iced water/seltzer. The two spacious restrooms in the back of the store are single-occupancy, which means that if more than one person needs to go you'll have to wait your turn. The interior decor is what you would find at other newer Raising Cane's locations: large bright One Love signage, framed pop art, and disco balls suspended from the ceiling. While the vibe is certainly welcoming, the dining room at this location is not designed for lingering or for large groups and is best for people who will order their food, eat it, then leave. The choice of location also leaves much to be desired since this Raising Cane's shares a parking lot with a Petco and the only way in or out of both is through a bottleneck in front of the Petco. I look forward to revisiting this location next year after the grand opening hype has petered out.

Very unfortunate, I'm not sure if they're trying to sell people in Jersey that this is raising canes quality but fries were mad small along with the chicken strips. As if it's a knock off version. Toast known for flavor and it was absolutely bland. Very disappointing

Late night runs will always tell you about a place! Some restaurants tend to serve cold fries or food that's been sitting all day. Not here!!!!! We showed up a 12am And this place was packed. The line was long but the wait wasn't. The cashiers and drive-thru workers were the absolute friendliest and funniest people we've literally ever encountered going through a drive-thru. The food was hot and absolutely freaking delicious. Will definitely be back here and I recommend everyone to go check them out.

First time at Raising Cane's--and here's my honest take. I'm usually not a big fast-food person, mostly because of the high calorie counts, but since this location just opened, I figured I'd give it a try. When I pulled up, the drive-thru line was long, so I went inside instead--and that was definitely the right move. The indoor line moved much faster. I ordered The Box Combo, which comes with four chicken fingers, crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast, coleslaw, Cane's sauce, and a 22-oz fountain drink. Ratings: * Chicken fingers (9/10): Really good--crispy and tender. A little more seasoning would've made them perfect. * Fries (7/10): Decent but nothing special, and they were a bit cold. * Coleslaw (7/10): Fine, but pretty basic. * Texas toast (6/10): It's literally just bread. Not bad, just forgettable. * Cane's sauce (4/10): This was the letdown for me. Too sour and not my thing. Overall: Despite a few misses, the experience was solid, and I can see why people like it. I'd definitely come back if I'm in the mood for fast food. Overall rating: 9/10.

Food is delicious. Workers are awesome. They're working their butts off. Be patient and be kind. We visited on 12/15/25. Lines are long, even drive through but it moves fast. Workers are constantly cleaning, which I appreciate, because everything is moving so fast. I think we got the Rutgers rush, there were a ton of students but it died down a bit around 5. Hope the staff stays as good as they are now. Keep up the great work guys! Happy to have a location nearby. Only complaint is that the music is a bit loud, but my toddler totally enjoyed the vibes. Especially with the disco lights. He happily chowed down his food while dancing in his seat. Shoutout to the Manager/Owner coming by to see how we were enjoying our visit and clearing our empty trays. Love to see it.

I'm not ashamed to admit that the opening of Raising Canes here in New Jersey generally and this Edison location specifically has been my most anticipated fast food offering in as long as I can remember. I've been a fan for a decade and a half ever since my father moved down to Louisiana and I first tried their glorious fried chicken fingers/tenders. The menu is super simple, it's fried chicken tenders/fingers or a fried chicken sandwich with fries, Texas toast, and cole slaw as sides. I had the 4 finger combo and it came out to about $15 post tax which, these days, is pretty darn good value for the meal. I was fully satiated upon completion. I had to wait a couple months after their grand opening because everytime I passed by I saw a line wrapped around the building! Even on this Wednesday night the place was nearly packed and had a constant flow of customers. They have a cool story, and vibe as well as doing awesome things in the local community. I'm happy to patronize this franchise wherever I see them and you should be as well. Also the canes sauce is really good and is by my guesstimation a bit of a spicy ranch.

I wanted a 2- piece combo deal made from a breast and wing, regular spice. I found out immediately that those chicken parts were never on the menu, but the only choices were legs and thighs. The white meat was only available for sandwiches. That was disappointing. So I defaulted to a Chicken Deluxe Sandwich Combo (lettuce, tomato, fries, soft drink & Mango Peach Pie), on what appeared to be something like a Martin Potato Roll. It was a solid clucker sammy; good size fillet, semi crisp coating, simple mayo-based house sauce - but not comparable to the much larger, crisper Popeye's version; not to mention that the Pop-I store also sold all pieces of chicken separately and in combination. I didn't have to compromise. The fries are thinner than most fast food shops , but had good crunch and saltiness. The tropical juice collection is unique and the most distinct and flavorful part of the Jollibee's menu. I can't speak to their noodle offerings as I haven't tried them yet. I enjoyed the Mango Peach Pie (deep fried wrap), and their freebee special that I lucked into. Sweet and crisp like a dessert egg roll. This shop appears to be a favorite of the local Pinoy community which adds a nice cultural touch to the ambiance here. 3.5 Southeast Asian Stars.
