I was really craving Korean fried chicken and decided to give Seoul Fried Chicken in Edison a try -- my first visit here. The location is great, right off Route 27 and close to Route 1, making it easy to get to. Service was fast and friendly, which I appreciated. Parking is good . Lots of space outside . Not too pricey . Priced ok . We tried a few different sauces, and some of them were absolutely delicious. The chicken itself was good -- crispy and flavorful -- but I've had better in NYC where it tends to be less greasy and more balanced in flavor. Unfortunately, we took the food to-go, and by the time we got home, it had turned a bit soggy and sticky. Definitely feels like the kind of food that's best enjoyed fresh at the restaurant. I was tempted to give it 3 stars, but I'm confident it would've tasted much better right on the spot -- so 4 stars it is. I'll be back to try it fresh next time!

The family Box, a family of 10 would work. Insanely good bargain, but have guests!!!

I'm gonna get this part of my review done right away, so you know that this is probably some of the best fried chicken I've ever had anywhere. I have had Korean fried chicken in New York City. I forgot the name of the place but I know it's a thing and the Koreans do some amazing fried chicken but when I finally got around to ordering some chicken for my family and I I was unprepared for the onslaught that showed up at my door. So the limited menu doesn't have what seems to be like a balanced selection of chicken. It seems like you could get some boxes that had maybe two of one thing and two of another thing but there wasn't anything that like a bucket that had like really a great variety and then I saw the family box The only way that you could honestly call this a family box is if your family has about 1000 members in it. The box of chicken that showed up at my door for $71 through GrubHub could have fed easily 10 to 12 hungry people mind you there were three of us. My wife and kid looked at me with disbelief, but they already know that I can't be trusted with a food order. I want everything I want sample everything and boy did so fried chicken deliver No kidding this box of chicken weighed about 12 pounds. It came with some delicious waffle, fries, coleslaw, and cornbread biscuits. Now part of the reason where I thought that this might be for a small family was that they only included to corn bread biscuits, and the biscuit sounded good the way they described them so I figured I would ask them to include another three biscuits in our box now this box was so big and so heavy and so impressive. I do not know how these guys can stay in business What I really would've liked is a box of chicken that was about a third of what came to my door and that would've been a bargain even at $35, for $71 I can't imagine how you could even make a profit with that much chicken but oh boy was it delicious. I just have to figure out now the next time I order from these guys, which could be a year from now because I'm gonna freeze some of the stuff and figure out how I'm gonna live the rest of my life on just chicken, i'm definitely gonna have to figure out how to order here sensibly. Well done Seoul fried chicken and may I suggest coming up with a variety box that maybe half the price of that and it could even be a third of the size of what you sent me and you'll still be rolling in the dough

Such a convenient spot for crunchy and flavorful Korean Fried Chicken! It's a great spot for take out or a quick dine in, especially with a their screens to order the food yourself in store. It's very helpful to see all the options of food right in front of you with a take out or dine in option. We got the Rice Bowl with Buffalo sauce and Soy Garlic wings to share. Both were so tasty and great portions for the price! I wish the bowl didn't come with the sauce on the side, but other than that everything was great!

This was a pretty good experience. I REALLY appreciate how they use quality size wings and tenders compared to other establishments that tend to use those smaller size chicken pcs. At first glance I was hesitant about ordering but it believed is a fair price for the quality they offer. I ordered a chicken box (10 pc) plain worhnsaice on the side. The chicken was fresh and super crispy! I enjoyed the flavor of the plain chicken and the sauce were delicious. They weren't super salty or sugary. I will visit again, this was a good place. That has a cool vibe. Looked the bright orange designs too.

Amazing Korean fried chicken. You can get the sauce on the side or right on your chicken. I recommend the soy garlic and the honey butter garlic on the chicken, unless you're doing to go then get it on the side so you can air fry your chicken first. I wish the meat inside is a bit more seasoned. The service was quick and the staff was helpful. We tried the chicken sandwich, the brioche bun they use is really great. The drums are great with rice. Coleslaw could be better. The waffle fries were great and crispy, try it with their truffle mayo. The inside feels like a typical casual chicken chain. I wish they have more space and tables or a better ambience. Overall, cant go wrong with the chicken here.

    Drumstick galore!

Sad .... Very sad. This Place used to be excellent and have good staff, good food, good place to eat. But unfortunately they seem to lost that Standard. First - I ordered drumsticks to go, when I got my order and drove back home found out they gave me wings. I noticed the young guy is more busy fixing his hair than paying attention to the customers order. Second - and ohh my Goodness! The place is Filthy! Disgusting to a point that every table and even chairs are dirty , crumbs all over the table and chairs. Their flooring is sticky and it's not even raining outside. Unfortunately I got to the point I have to use their restroom. Bad decision. Urine, tissue all over, extremely dirty . Third - they used to have good welcoming and focus staff . They used to have this Korean Manager who's nice and will even walk around to check and clean his dining area. But now that's Gone. All opposite to what they used to have. These new people are even arguing loud inside their kitchen area and with that how can they focus on their tasks? .Who ever runs this place needs to inspect this franchise. I will now give them just a single Star hope that things change for the better. Again Im usually happy to give them five stars before but not this time. Me and my family were very disappointed. It will probably take a long time before we even consider to come back to this place. This is to make others aware of what in a negative way this area has become. I hope management will fix this. To add the chicken we ordered is still bloody inside it needs more cooking time, we had to put them inside our air fryer. Now I am worried on how they are handling the food preparation.

So this review is like a 4.5/5. Very good wings. The largest chicken tenders I've ever seen and wow that oreo cheesecake. The garlic honey sauce is a must.

I'd been here once before when they first opened and it wasn't very memorable but I was in the mood for Korean fried chicken and this place seemed to have better reviews. Walking in, I wanted to walk out again. The place didnt have any AC, on an 80 plus degree day. No sign, no apologies. We decided to get food anyway, the all wing box with buffalo sauce. Upon getting it, there were pieces of drums mixed in. I thought there was a mistake but the employee said thats how they come. I wouldn't have spent the extra money on an only wing box if drums were to be included. The chicken came out quickly, which was surprising as Korean fried chicken usually takes a longer time to prepare. And it's easy to see why, they use a breading thats more akin to Kentucky fried chicken, rather than the thin crispy Korean style. From literally dripping in sweat at the restaurant, to the mediocre chicken and the deceptive descriptions, I won't be visiting again.

There's quite a few Korean Fried Chicken options in the area, so SFC definitely has some competition. I thought the chicken here was fairly average, so likely will not be returning. My main complaint was that the chicken was too sweet. We ordered the soy flavor, and I struggled to eat more than 3 drumsticks because of all the sugar. I was there for a meal, not dessert.

Finally found halal korean fried chicken/wings that taste authentic. Taste is 4 out of 5. Place is very clean. Staff are very nice. I wish they open in North Jersey.

My food was delicious I definitely will be coming back can't wait

A few logistical tips: while there is street parking, a public lot is conveniently located right across the street. The dining room is quite intimate with only about ten tables, and since they don't seem to take reservations, I recommend arriving early or being prepared for a wait. If you don't want to wait, they do offer takeout! Another suggestion is to browse their menu online before you arrive, the selection is extensive! We showed up without a game plan and needed several minutes just to decide because there were so many tempting choices! Luckily, our waiter was incredibly patient and helpful, answering every question we had. Once we decided, the real fun began. Every single item, and I'm not exaggerating, was phenomenal! We started with the fresh squeezed orange juice, which was sweet and perfectly portioned, along with a vanilla latte and a cappuccino. Both were classic, rich, and creamy. For the main course, we chose the "Chill + Qill It" Chilaquiles, which featured traditional corn tortillas topped with cotija cheese, avocado, pink sour cream, eggs, and your choice of protein. We also tried the Parkside Classic Sliders; the chicken was exceptionally crispy yet tender and juicy, served with eggs on a brioche bun. We opted to upgrade to the truffle fries, which were delicious! Although our sliders accidentally came with pickles, the staff was so kind and immediately offered to remake the dish or swap out the bun. Finally, we had the Grilled Chicken Egg Ranchero. It was like a breakfast version of nachos, loaded with beans, peppers, onions, an egg, those same crispy tortillas, and more of that signature pink cream! We couldn't leave without satisfying our sweet tooth, so we finished with the Cinnamon Roll French Toast. It tasted exactly like a fresh cinnamon roll, the glaze was incredible, and the bread was perfectly crisp on the outside while remaining fluffy inside. I honestly cannot wait to go back and work my way through the rest of the kitchen's creations. This restaurant is a absolute must-visit for their unique combinations and superb flavors!
