I initially only wanted to order two egg rolls and due to issues running the line the staff took over 30 minutes to service the 3 people in front of me. When I finally got to the front, I was curious about the spicy Orange Chicken as an a la carte entree so I asked to sample it to see how spicy it was. I was rudely told that the store didn't offer samples. That was a new one to me but fine. I also listened to them tell a guy behind me they had no broccoli/greens prepped. All of this happened while a staff member stood behind the line not lending a hand to anyone. On Sunday, March 23, I placed an order from Panda Express through Uber Eats, and it was the most disgusting and dangerous experience I have ever had with food. When I picked up my plate, I noticed the bottom felt cold, but I assumed it was just the rice or the delivery time. I took a bite, chewed it, and that's when I realized something was seriously wrong--the chicken was COMPLETELY RAW. Not undercooked--RAW. I immediately spit it out, horrified, and cut open several more pieces. Every single one was raw. I was moments away from feeding this to my young daughter. Had I not noticed in time, she could have become severely ill--or worse. The fact that a national restaurant chain is serving raw chicken is beyond outrageous. This isn't just bad service; it's a SERIOUS HEALTH HAZARD. To make things even worse, when I returned the food to the restaurant, the manager didn't care AT ALL. She completely dismissed my concerns about the rest of the food being contaminated--even though she herself admitted that she wouldn't even offer me a replacement because she didn't know if the rest of the food they were serving was also unsafe! And yet, despite that, they continued serving other customers without hesitation, as if nothing had happened. All I got was a half-hearted apology and a refund. That is NOT enough. This kind of negligence is completely unacceptable, and it's shocking that Panda Express doesn't seem to take food safety seriously. An apology and a refund don't fix the fact that they put my health and my child's health at risk. They need to be held accountable, and I hope this serves as a warning to anyone considering eating here. Panda Express, DO BETTER. Located in a strip with other restaurant chains, this Panda Express has its Covid precautions in place with all the staff members with gloves and masks on, a proper socially distanced queue for ordering food and no dine in available, which shouldn't come as a surprise. During my time of visit, there were quite a few people waiting to order and some others for mobile/ take outs. I just had ordered a large honey walnut shrimp entree. The large option didn't seem that large and they have a premium on shrimp which was a little overkill. A large entree would normally cost some $10 but mine went over $14. At that point, it was not worth the money. A plate with 3 entrees would be a better steal. The food quality is something where I have no complaints. I was very excited to see that a Panda Express was opening in Woodbridge area. It's located near the Walmart with plenty of parking. This place is newly opened with new furnishings and equipment. I stopped by around lunch time on a weekday and it was semi busy. I had to wait for fried rice to come out. I ordered the typical items that includes fried rice, mixed veggies, orange chicken, and angus steak. The one thing I would knock off a star is that the portion size was not generous. I still felt kind of hungry afterwards but I guess they are new. I'm use to getting a better portion size from other Panda Express locations. The other thing I would knock off another star is that they should have gone with the coke mix fountain drink station. I mean this a brand new restaurant, they should have done it right. Overall, I would give it another shot since it close to my house but if it doesn't change I will go to another Panda that is farther. Came here again on 11/12 and nothing is changed. It was worst the 2nd time. The cooking was very salty all the dishes including the orange chicken. It tasted like some Chinese food cooked from the New Jersey Turnpike. The portions were still cheap and left me still hungry so I went next door to the wing stop for some wings. Don't think I will go here again unless I was stuck in the area with tons of snow. I was so excited to learn Panda Express is opening within minutes away from my house. My family and I decided to stop by shortly after they had their grand opening. It was a weeknight and I do notice that they were having some sort of staff meeting because about six or seven staff sat down and discuss about work. There were few customers dining in and only one other customer ahead of us. The time that staff took to serve the customer before took too long for 1 combo meal. When it came to my family order, I noticed the vegetables I wanted to order wasn't available and had to be cooked, which is fine but when I asked how long would it take, I'm told five minutes. I looked at their kitchen and saw no one cooking so I asked is someone going to make it now, the staff looked at me and didn't answer. My veggies eventually was prepped by some kid that looks like a teenager and it took longer than five minutes. I also order kung pao chicken because I like spicy food and been to many other panda locations and had no problem with eating it. When I tasted their chicken, it was loaded with sauces and salt....nasty, I had to throw it away. While dining in, an employee asks if everything came out fine, I complained about their chicken and the employee gave me a shoulder shrug and said sorry and walked away. It took a long time for my family of four to order because they were so slow. As we're ordering some more customers arrived but none of the staff sitting got up to help. Instead, two young female staff scrambling around and constantly telling customers that they need to wait for the food to be cooked. The portions here are also tiny. Yes, they serve cheap perhaps so that they don't have to cook so much. My family are no big eaters but we left here hungry and had to order food next door to fill us up for dinner. I ordering the Panda Express app. I received a text message saying the order was ready at 7:12pm. I walked in at 7:14pm and proceeded to the counter. I was told my order wasn't ready. Several food delivery people were also waiting. Customers were walking in, ordering, paying, and leaving. I asked again after a few minutes. I was told to sit down and wait. I ordered through the app at 7pm and it was 7:30 now. The employees were overwhelmed with the number of customers and take out orders. They started getting nasty with the customers. One had a name tag on Amina. The other didn't have one on, I asked her name and she said bone of your business. Then this other one came out Mini. She came out stomping at everyone waiting at the pickup section. She started yelling at everyone saying sit down now and acting like an animal. I asked for the manager. I was told the manager was the cook and couldn't be bothered. I asked again where my order was. Mini told the other girls to get my order together since I was "Pissing her off". I finally got my order at 7:45pm. I spoke to the cook who said he was the manager Terry. As he was talking with me, mini kept chiming in. He told her to go back to her station. She kept ignoring him. I ordered through UBEREATS my usual (1 Plate with Fried Rice with Beef & Brocolli & the original orange chicken) I want to know why my rice was so dry, the beef & brocolli didn't have any beef just brocolli without the gravy?! I used to cook at a Panda Express in my home town so I know how things are supposed to be; and the food here isn't done right. I've had Panda Express many times over the years, usually in a mall. This is only my 2nd time attending a stand alone location and I'm glad I gave this location a shot today. I had the grilled teriyaki chicken which was extremely tender and flavorful, and not salty. The soy sauce they give you with the teriyaki was a nice touch as it was thick and stuck to the chicken and gave it a semi sweet kick. I also had the black pepper chicken which wasn't too bad either. The honey sesame chicken was an all star also since it was still crunchy even after being drenched in sauce. Drenched in a good way, for the record! The chow mein needed some flavor, and fortunately I was able to obtain this from the soy sauce they gave for the teriyaki chicken and the other juices from the honey sesame and black pepper chicken. The food is quite good for a "fast food" style restaurant. The food is constantly being brought out from the kitchen and is hot. The servings are quite generous with three size choices. When I called to inquire about it I was told that it's broccoli and beef NOT beef with broccoli! I said yeah but there should be some kind of beef w/the broccoli! They stated that is how the dish is made! So needless to say we won't be ordering that again! This is my 4th time visiting/eating from this restaurant and I never had any issues prior to this day!!!!! When it came time to check out and pay for my food as I'm standing at the register I look straight ahead of me, in CLEAR VIEW I see a young man cutting yellow peppers with a knife and NO GLOVES ON!!!!! I asked the young women who was cashing me out at the register why did the young man not have gloves on? she looked at me then looked back at him and said "well he's new, sometimes he wears gloves and sometimes he doesn't." I said "It's a whole Pandemic going on, it should be MANDATORY that you are wearing gloves." I was SO disgusted I almost threw up in my mouth. I mean he was right there in clear view not even trying to hide it. The young women went to the back to grab one of those small cups you put sauces in and came back to the register. I said "Soo you just walk right by him and don't tell him to put on the gloves." She said "I will" I said "Go tell him now." She walked back and told him and he quickly puts on gloves. I placed an online order for the first time for a quick pick-up at the newer Woodbridge location. When I arrived, they were still putting my order together so I just waited about 5 minutes. I wasn't able to see them prepare it. When I got home to open the containers of food, I was quite disappointed in the portions they served. The half fried rice and half chow mien portion was abysmal. There were barely any chow mien noodles in my order. The rice tasted....well it didn't have much taste/flavor. Ive gone to other Panda Express restaurants and it was amazing. However, other reviews are correct. They are very stingy with their portions and the food does not have a lot of flavor. I was hoping this would be my new Chinese food go-to, but unfortunately, I am quite disappointed with my food experience at this location. Perhaps management can find out what is working well at other locations and take a cue from them to improve upon the cooking. The service was not bad and they were friendly and welcoming.
