It did damage beyond what the utility owned so I had to find an electrician on short notice. When I googled, john came up at the top of the Yelp list and was the first call I made. He was in my front yard assessing the damage an hour after I called him. He gave me great advice on dealing with the Utility company, went to get the materials he needed on Friday evening and was back at 7am on Saturday to complete the work. I thought his price for the work was extremely fair especially considering that he caught me in an emergency situation. A lot of contractors may have taken advantage of that. John was very responsive, priced fairly and really knew what he was doing. He will be my first call any time I need electrical work done.

They saved the day!…read more We had a new dishwasher installed by a local appliance company and when the installers left we were worse off than before they installed the new dishwasher. The appliance company left us with an actively leaking water line and a broken discharge line into our sink. I called Rodenhiser the next morning at 7:30 and was greeted by a great lady. Rodenhiser had someone at our house within 3 hrs. They explained the issues and cost, we agreed, and they fixed everything. All set by 1:00 in the afternoon. We have used these folks 2 other times - all very good experiences. Not the low cost provider but totally worth it!

Total windbag, used soft pressure tactics to make us feel we'd not get service for many days if we didn't let tech come over in a 8 hr window same day I called! Plumbers were parasitic for finding more "faults" in basic copper plumbing leak in basement...complete b.s pricing, like $500 to change $75 outdoor hose faucet/a 'half day job' to supposedly repair a shower strainer "oh, it connects to the iron main drain. Thing is, it wasn't even leaking. Their printout for other things is basically colored pictures and big prices. I've seen this rap from other "home service providers" who come in and scare old people to death with $400 wall outlet changeovers...but if you protest, then they come down (a bit, since they're still taking you to cleaners). I thought Rod was a credible outfit (years ago, they serviced a disposal install w.o too much $$$, perhaps b/c they were the poor souls who were subcontracted by Lowes where we bought it). I yak-ed before Yelping, vm/email about how absurd their knee jerk techniques were to get insane money..yes, plumbers can get more than doctors...but add up what this plumbing gravy train probably gets by feeling up their youngish field crew..its only a matter of time before screwball operations like this start serving mcdonalds and opening churches...conglomeration is the greed that pastes home service corruption, and its heading your way...BEWARE/avoid!
