I called Klod when a series of outlets in our home stopped working all of a sudden. He was able to come out the very same day. He arrived on time and was very responsive by text message while he was on the way. He quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired it within an hour. He also tested the other outlets on the same floor and gave me some advice on how I could upgrade them either myself or with his help in the future. Could not be happier! I needed an "ASAP" new outlet installed for an appliance delivery. They were able to help and a team came out here and got the work done. They cleaned up after themselves, and did a great job getting everything done. I also had them work on a lighting issue and they took care of that. I was in a bind and needed a good electrician to complete a large project left unfinished by a previous electrician. Klod and his crew definitely lived up to their name "Super". They kept their commitment to complete the work in a timely fashion. Since I recently purchased the home I also asked them to assess what else needed to be done to my home bring the electrical up to code, which they were very conscientious about. They were professional and the kindest group of people I had the pleasure to work with. Their quoted costs were reasonable and honest. I suspected that my previous electrician was overcharging me and I was right. I rarely recommend contractors however "Super Electric" is an exception. Do not hesitate to contact them. Oh no--both the microwave and stove are dead! WTF? We don't have a "standard" electrician, so I turned to Yelp, hoping someone would come over no later than in a couple of days, since ordering out was going to get old. Called Super Electric and Klod answered the phone. When I told him my problem, I almost dropped the phone when he said he could be there by 6PM that evening (it was 2PM when I called). He let me know very frankly that the service fee is $180. I don't know what the going rate is for electricians, but it seems like a good price for an "emergency" visit. Klod got to my house at 5:45. He was professional and all business. He had to drag my oven away from the wall (watch your back) and do a lot of running up and down to my fuse box, but luckily diagnosed a loose wire, nothing more. He tightened it up, and was out of my house in 20 minutes. The price? Just the $180. I was really happy with the service. I had the feeling that if something bigger was wrong, he would have repaired it efficiently and at a fair price. We have a few minor electrical annoyances in our house, plus I would like to change some fixtures. We are going to collect all of these and schedule Klod to come back. Klod came in to replace a bath fan and replace some outlets and install a new quad outlet. This was the second time he's done work for us. Both times he was very responsive and very professional. The first time we were in a pinch for time and he came out on a Saturday. This was after numerous calls to others that weren't returned. Klod came out in an hours notice to look at the wiring to my pool pump. He was able to diagnose the problem very quickly and specifically told me what my problem was and how to remedy it. He was extremely affordable and easy to work with. The next week, I had another unrelated issue and called him to see if he could come out. He informed me he was out of town and promptly called another electrician that he knew to come to the house and then followed up several times to make sure the problem was remedied. The only experience I have with this company is a phone call to try to set up an appointment. They weren't interested in fixing my problem with my heating system, just told me to open the thermostat and squeeze things until the heating zone stopped running.( my heat is stuck on). If it was something I could fix I wouldn't be calling an electrician. No offer to come out and actually do something. Save your breath. Don't understand all the other great reviews. I am blown away by Klod and Super Electric, and I haven't even met the man in person. While I was traveling and away from Bostonm my condo's heat suddenly stopped working right before Christmas. After two straight days of frantically trying to find an quality electrician via recommendations, I found "Super Electric" on Yelp. I was in disbelief yet hopeful about the 5-star reviews - not just that he had 5-star reviews, but that ALL of the reviews (recommended AND not recommended) are 5-STARS! Well, long story short, Klod diagnosed the problem over the phone and then sent a guy the very next day (one day earlier than he said he could) with the suspected parts in hand (bought them in advance so he wouldn't charge me for the extra time). Less than an hour later, the heat was back on and the guy was gone. Klod called and said he would email the bill! The job was simple, but from this experience, I feel confidently saying Klod and his employees are exceedingly trustworthy, professional, and great at their job - that and their rates are very fair.
