Own a home? Then you will need electrical work at some point. Forget Angie's List and other…read moreelectricians and go directly to DP. I have used them several times on 2 separate homes. In both cases the response was quick (same day in one case and next day in other instance). Everyone else was 1-2 weeks out, unless of course I was willing to pay some ridiculous premium! Not DP! David was just as busy but his eye is on the customer and if he can squeeze your job in, he will. His guys are great. Polite, friendly, and extremely thorough. They clean up after themselves and even fix minor other issues they discover if needed. In addition their fees are reasonable for the service they provide. Don't waste your time looking elsewhere! Don't pay over-priced response fees. Just call David at DP Electric. I'll never go anywhere else for my electrical work

We explained to David what our goal was and he knew exactly what we needed and suggested what type of lights we get. It's amazing how he was able to rewire without a single mark made into ours walls. He rewired to give us two lights outside in completely different areas of the house and even added a switch box in our attic if we wanted to add any at a later date. He also installed the lights we purchased and showed us how to use them. He did a very thorough job and we couldn't have been more pleased with the work and in working with him. I have already recommend him to family and I would highly recommend to anyone else. We plan to work with David for any of our future electrical needs. Thanks David!

Mike McBurney is a one-man electrician. He answers his own phone, usually by you leaving a…read morevoicemail that his message says he'll return within 24 hours - and he calls you back within that time frame. I had several tasks to do to update bathroom lighting from the 1950's. Mike was able to come give me an estimate within days of me calling - he came over on his lunch break from another job to see my current situation. He scheduled a visit to do the job on the very tight schedule I had. My project required him to switch out an ancient ceiling light/fan/heat unit and the old circle switch for an updated button-type switch, remove old "eyeball" recessed lights to replace them with newer LEDs, and divide the eyeballs and the vanity lights from one to two switches (the new ones are much brighter, so I wanted an option to turn on one set of lights without the other) and replace an old outlet with a GFI. The work required Mike to look behind my recessed medicine cabinet to find how the current set-up was done. Since I'm replacing the cabinet, he also helped me box up the old one and bring it to the street for my trash collection. Mike noticed that not only did he need to add the switch but to change out the existing mercury one to something more up to code. The work was done neatly, quickly, and at a great price! All during the Phase 1 reopening afre COVID-19, so it was done with Mike wearing a mask and being attentive to social distancing as much as possible given the small footprint of my bathroom and my narrow doorway into the place.
