We tried this for lunch on Saturday. It is very clean and bright. The person taking our order was very pleasant and friendly, making sure we understood the menu and going over our selections to make sure he had it right. Our food arrived very promptly and was delicious. I had a burger/fries and wife had a fiesta salad. Very large portions. I'm sorry to be that guy, but I was really disappointed with my meal today. I went in with my boyfriend to grab a nice bite for lunch, as we saw this restaurant in Levelland and were surprised to see one in Lubbock. Our order was simple: Garlic bread basket, create your own classic spud, and a szechwan bowl. The food came out fast, remarkably fast for what we ordered. First thing out was the garlic bread, which was just soft (not crisp, rip) Texas Toast brand garlic bread you can buy at pretty much any supermarket. Nice. I didn't mind that as much. What I mostly minded was my baked potato. I had ordered it with the works: Butter, sour cream, chives, bacon, and shredded cheddar. I did get all of that on my potato, however, there was a massive glob of nacho cheese underneath everything, which was cold. I chose to continue eating it anyway, despite the fact that i don't really like nacho cheese. However, when i went to take a bite of the skin of the potato, I noticed an incredibly gritty texture. I swallowed it and scraped the skin with my nails afterward, and off came a good amount of dirt. On top of that, while trying to dig out the glob of nacho cheese, a good 2 or 3 tbsp of cold butter sat beneath it. We're also pretty sure my boyfriend's rice was instant and that the vegetables were microwaved, so this meal was definitely not worth what we paid for. The service was good when we walked in however we were uncomfortable right off the bat because the manager was right in the middle of the restaurant on his phone and computer yelling at someone about the other location. I ordered the teriyaki beef bowl and the rice was like mushy minute rice the broccoli wasn't seasoned but fresh, however all the other veggies were mushy like the rice. My boyfriend got the chicken fried steak potato which was alright except the gravy was very watery. Probably won't ever be back, there are plenty of better places to go in town. read more

The food was alright I got the zucchini chips which was very oily I had to damp the zucchini chips with a napkin also I got the sea food with fried fish and fries which was not bad but the tartar sauce was kind of tasted bad but other the the food the customer service is good the employs were nice. read more

I go here twice a week. Anything you order is great. I could have Zucchini chips alone and theyd fill me up. Everything is LARGE. They're potatoes are on steroids. Staff is the friendliest in Lubbock. If i had to choose 3 restaurants in Lubbock to stay open, this would be one of them. read more

Have ordered to take out several times, with good results. Tonight, not so good. Waited a long time for order, was behind another car waiting. Server took my order to first car, it was not theirs, and they drove off without their food. Saw 2 other cars leave as well. Salad was at least 1/3 less than usual. Haven't tried my other food yet. This is not typical of this place. Hope they fix things quickly, because it's good food. read more

I'm sure this place is better than the review I'm giving it. I tried the chicken Alfredo pasta, but honestly as one of the other reviewer said earlier, it did indeed taste like dog food slightly. Also I could easily compare the pasta to that from Fazoli's. That doesn't mean I wouldn't try this restaurant again. I see the other reviews and it seems like the other food is it a whole lot better. I just suggest that you don't get any of the pastas. read more

I have eaten in the restaurant several times as well as ordered take out and been pleasantly surprised each time. The cheeseburgers are delicious, with lots of meat and very well seasoned. The salads are very fresh and good sized. The family atmosphere is really a positive. And they are open on Sundays! It is a very casual place, which is exactly what we were looking for. read more

Service was terrible. They brought my husbands food and fifteen minutes later my husband had to ask them where my food was. When they brought my food my French fries were missing. We will never go back there. read more
