We had extremely slow service at PF Chang's this evening. Other people who came in at the same time as us got their food quickly and finished eating before we ever got our entrees, which took at least 40 minutes to arrive. We then asked the waiter about ordering desserts and he said it would take at least 30-40 minutes. I thought at first he was joking but apparently wasn't (we didn't order them). I've worked at restaurants before and know there's no reason it should take so long to deliver a piece of cake. read more

What happened??? Where is the other manager? The food is so awful! We drove 2.5 hours JUST to come eat here for my husbands birthday and what a disappointment! The previous manager would come table to table to visit and thank people for coming in, and ran such a tight ship, the food was SO worth driving this far to come eat. Our server was so amazing but he can't manage the place and cook the food as well. Bring the other manager back, promote our server to manager or this location will end up closing! We had the sizzling fried dumplings and the Mongolian beef w/fried rice and a pork egg roll. Excellent! The waitress was a dream.

Good was pretty good, but was extremely slow. Dessert took nearly an hour after the main course and then when it arrived it was not impressive at all. The servers were great and they were very perplexed by the slowness of the kitchen. Bar service was excellent but doesn't makeup for the slow food preparation and then the food we got was not representative of the high price we paid. All in all, this was a weak link in the P. F. We were there at 11 AM on July 28, 2026. Food particles were all over the floor. It was very obvious that things were not cleaned the night before since it was at 11 AM. There was lint or crumbs on all the black square service plates, the seats on all the bars are torn and ragged. The service was so so - the food has gone way down since our last visit about two months ago. We always looked forward to eating there but we are so disappointed by this experience, we will not return unless the management gets things back in tip top shape. read more

Restaurant seems to be struggling. Many of the recent reviews are spot on to our experiences. Check in process was good. Wait was going to be about 20 minutes. Went to the bar to get a drink and both female bartenders were more interested in washing glasses than providing a drink. With only 3 people sitting around the bar, stood there for 10 minutes before even getting acknowledged. Once seated, wait staff was good and trying hard, but it took 45 minutes to get our food. And this did not include waiting an extra 15 minutes after that for our party to get the California Roll orders an hour ago. And then when ordering another drink, waiting 15-20 minutes for it to come out. Kitchen and bartenders not doing the restaurant any favors. read more

I would just say that I dont think the food is worth the price at all, the drinks were very very good and were worth it but the main course genuinely tasted very similar to if I went to panda express and the only main difference was that the presentation of the food was very good. Had a massive takeout order, and first off on the website it says the order of beef and broccoli (as well as most other entrees) are 2 portions. Does that beef and broccoli look enough for even one decent portion? I was infuriated. For $20 no sir. And the next photo is the Singapore street noodles--granted these were a much better portion. Decided to give P.F. Chang's a try while traveling. The location was new. The place very clean. It was a little chilly inside but I'd rather that than hot. Food was reliable. We had lettuce wraps and goyza, always a good choice. Then finished with shrimp tempura roll, beef fried rice and beef and broccoli. Everyone enjoyed their food. When our check came they charged me the $3 up charge for fries rice. I told the server I got steamed rice and he said they were not allowed to take it off lunch special. Ran my card and then came back and said they were out of fried rice but still refused to refund the $3. I get it--it's $3 but isn't it illegal to charge for food you don't get? My family went to PF Chang's last night to celebrate my husband's and daughter's birthdays. I made a reservation online. They had our table set with special placemats, chopsticks, and a signed birthday card from the staff. It was so fun! Our waiter, Hayden, was awesome. The food was great. The manager came over and asked about our birthdays. They brought us desserts with a sparkler for the birthdays. This place is great for dining in minus the ambiance it used to have. PF Changs used to be darker and gave a really unique feel. But that's not what this is about. Their takeout portions are 2/3rds of what their full dine in order is and also more expensive. Not only that, but your hot food is given to you in plastic, so you're eating plastic. This is disgusting. We got two dinners which usually when we dine in, we're struggling to finish and challenging each other to do so. This past time we decided on takeout, and ate it quick with no problems. We knew it wasn't as much when we saw it in the bag, but even finishing it I was still hoping for more. It was $8 more expensive than advertised online and we picked it up. Pretty bs. I know they got a new CEO recently and this was after that change so that's prob part of it, but I won't be coming back. Why change something so drastically to stiff your customers? We are only giving two stars for several reasons. 1) My wife had sesame chicken. The chicken was overcooked, tough, and tasteless. 2) I had beef with broccoli and the beef did not have a good flavor and it was as tough as a boot. Both dishes gave us the impression that they were not cooked with care, but rather with speed and in a very perfunctory, assembly line manner by people that didn't seem to care care, judging by their product. I visited from Houston. This is probably the poorest quality PF. Changs I have ever been to and I have been to a few. To start, I still left an 18% tip, because it was not the server's fault that the food was awful. Her service was good and prompt. I had a reservation and arrived 5 minutes before with my whole party, yet they did not sit us at the booth I requested and then later I found out they had not even checked me in--a bad start. We got the family style options for a party of 5,but the portions were so small that it was not satisfying for us and we had to still go somewhere else and get something else to eat after spending $30 per person. This is without any alcohol being included in the meal. We got 2 orders of Pepper Steak, Beef Lo Mein, Orange Chicken, Edamame, Calamari, and Barbecue Spare Ribs. For every noodle dish, there was very little protein and the protein dishes also had very little protein. Food was not very spicy or flavorful and was barely warm. We won't be back. read more

Always come here when I am in town for work! Tonight was sweet when some random person paid for my meal and drinks. My food was great and drinks even better ... gotta love a good coconut mojito or two! I sat at the bar, the bartender was very attentive and easy going. So nice to see. P.F. Chang's is always a good choice for Americanized Chinese food. It's not authentic but it's still delicious. The service is good and the food comes out pretty quickly. For our appetizer, we got the lettuce wraps and the tempura calamari. The lettuce wraps were fantastic, they are P.F. Chang's signature dish after all. The lettuce is fresh and crunchy and it goes well with the tender chicken which is extremely flavorful. The tempura calamari was also nice. The coating was very light and the squid and vegetables were really tender. The sauce added a nice flavor but made the dish a little too rich for me. Our entrees were also very good. I especially enjoyed the Lobster and Shrimp rice. The pieces of meat were very tender and had a light tempura coating. The rice had a nice black peppery flavor and the red peppers gave the rice a good amount of spiciness. I also really like the garlic green beans. The green beans were slightly firm so they still had a nice texture. The flavor was spicy and garlicky which I like because I love spicy food and I love garlic. P.F. Chang's is a solid place if you're looking for Chinese food, but not authentic Chinese food. It's a better choice than other chain places such as Panda Express. Before P.F. Chang's came to Lubbock, I went to it in other cities, and the one in Lubbock is surprisingly good compared to those in other places. read more
