Wow! I went in on a Monday for a lil snack & a drink & absolutely had to be back on Tuesday for a full meal. The experience was fantastic! Both days, obvi. Like chicken wings? GET THEM HERE!! They fall off the bone & the sauce is to die for. Got to watch the Kraken game the entire time we were there, which was a super bonus for a couple hockey fans! Had two entrees for our main & the bread pudding for the third. I had the espresso martini to close out the meal and couldn't have been more full. The staff was outstanding so kind. I have nothing but love and admiration for the manager, but it was a privilege to meet the owner (bartending!) & his daughter (in the kitchen) as well. The food was so good for it to be at a bar. We went on a Monday AND the food was half off. I can't remember if there was a special on the drinks but they were good too! I ordered the steak tips with mashed potatoes. My husband ordered the brisket sandwich and fries. My mother got the salmon with succotash. Everything was delicious! Some Random Bar is my spirit animal! I really liked my meal here. It's a lively (kind of loud, actually) place that was filled to capacity the Sunday evening I was there. Our server was a triple threat named Chris and he could do anything and make it look easy. He managed his tables with style and grace and never left anyone wanting. Kudos to him. I had a brisket sandwich which was very good. My old fashioned was pretty tasty as well. The whole vibe of the place was good and it just seemed to have a positive energy. It's the type of place that if your friends took you there, you'd have a good time even if you swore beforehand you were not in the mood to have a good time. After the space needle I was starving! This place had great reviews. It was about a 10 minute walk from the space needle which was perfect. I arrived there around 4:30pm and was empty. Perfect! The server recommended the butter lettuce salad, and OH MY WORD! It was so good with shrimp! Highly recommend that! The dressing was so tasty and fresh. It was happy hour so I had some wine with the salad. It was a huge serving so that filled me up. Great ambiance, and I really loved my server. She was friendly and great. Some Random Bar SAVED THE DAY! Hearts were crushed on a Sunday morning when we had gone all the way to Seattle with the plan of taking a seaplane to Friday Harbor to do a whale watching excursion. Weather grounded us and we ended up back in Seattle late morning very bummed and looking for something to turn our mood around. Found a local place with great reviews. Asked if we could sit at the bar - busy at brunch time - and we were told "sure" only to be told after settling in at the bar that they weren't serving food to bar patrons?! That's fine but would have been valuable information since we could have gotten on the waitlist for a table 15 minutes sooner. We gave up and started walking. THEN we found Some Random Bar!! Just the no-nonsense atmosphere we needed after such a disappointing start to the day. Very friendly service! We had some amazing crab nachos for breakfast/brunch. They hit the spot but are there only reason this is 4 stars and not 5. A little too much crema for me and the reduced onions were a little too sweet for me. I'm sure it was perfect for others. I went here for a friend's going away party on a Monday. The food was excellent (ordered the pulled pork sandwich with fries) but the service was so slow! I had ordered a cider and it took close to 15-20 minutes for a can of cider. My friend had ordered at the same time and they got their drink another 10 minutes after I got mine. I give this place an overall 4 on all levels and always get a kick out of the creative name. It doesn't look that large at first but it has a lot of depth. Service is pleasant and the consistency is on point. I remember being a long time ago and quarantine has not changed their touch. I highly recommend the shrimp sandwich. At first we were skeptical that Ir can be a hit and miss with shrimp being the main ingredient of a sandwich. This is fire with flavor and just the right amount of spicy heat. The fried chicken limited edition is another hit. One of the most tender juicy and crispy chicken with the glaze sauce on the side to match it. There's was only one dish that didn't blow us away and that was the chicken lettuce wraps on the limited edition. We also enjoyed the steak with roasted romaine. The steak was tender and I enjoyed mixing it with the blue cheese fixings of the Romain side. We will definitely be back. read more

Classy sports bar with some good food and people. I was on vacation in December and it was game day! I chose this bar and luckily I was able to get a seat at the bar. It was the big game for the NFC West title and my 49ers came in clutch with the win! Couldn't have asked for more. The food here was delicious! I got the wings and the grilled shrimp club. It was all amazing! Washed it down with a spiced/spiked hot apple cider. Service here was very friendly...even though we were niners fans. WOW! This place was absolutely fantastic. Every drink was spot on and delicious. The drinks were also very creative and fun which I really appreciate. Fun mixed drinks are seriously my jam. The food was pretty good as well. We got the crab nachos. KILLER!!! The guacamole on it was probably the best guacamole I've ever had and I am an aficionado (I actually think no one can make a better one than mine so this is a compliment.) The only thing I regret is that we were too full to get more food. I definitely have to come back here on an empty stomach. The service was pretty good. Our server was hilarious (this was our second happy hour bar stop so he could have been really annoyed at us but he was very cool about our drunkeness) and very attentive. He also gave us great suggestions for both drinks and food. I actually really liked the ambiance in here. Came for happy hour with my sister, and we arrived literally a couple minutes before happy hour ended. Our server took our orders lightening fast and we copped those beers! For food, we ordered the Warm Garlic Pull Apart and OH MY GOODNESS this is crazy good. The name is misleading because it seems so simple but it's a godsend. It's a pinwheel of flaky and buttery phyllo dough with a center of burrata drizzled generously with olive oil. Each pull was fantastic, and with the right combination of crispy phyllo soft burrata, it's a great contrast of textures in your mouth. My sister and I had been happy hour hopping, and this place definitely stood out. There is outdoor seating, and everyone was so nice (or maybe that was the happy hour hopping speaking)! Random Bar was found randomly as my friend & I visited Seattle for a few days. Great place to relax & socialize. Great service & delicious food. This is not your average food chain restaurant at all! It is personally made by a chef for you to order. Did I mention the bartender? Bar-none the best fresh drinks to order. This place is great! It has a really fun humor in names of the cocktails and dishes and the servers are all friendly and seem to be enjoying themselves. The food was all really good- we got the "chic fil a is closed on Sunday's" which comes with two chicken sliders with a jalapeño jam and a side of fruit. I'd prefer a side of waffle fries but overall it was really yummy. The surprise favorite was the warm garlic pull-apart which came with some homemade garlic flaky break and a side of ricotta. I didn't expect much but it was SO good! The wings were good too but a little too saucy for me. The cocktails are worth trying too. I got the "CancunCruz" margarita which is a spicy mango that comes with "extra hatred for Ted Cruz." It was great- fruity and spicy! Reliable place for good food in Belltown -you will need company to share the huge crab/brisket nachos. The Hill Burger was phenomenal- the only occasion I my burger years that I would actuallly want the bun! Juicy and tasty thick beef Patty was sandwhich In a mysteriously buttery and almost flaky bun. Atmosphere in the bar is awesome but very loud so we opted to sit at the outdoor curbside patio. Service for most people is good but not so great for us Asians-mistress didn't come around to check on our drinks or if we wanted more food or dessert. The sangria tasted like water but the impeccable or nachos made up for it. Overall a must-go if staying across the street at the Ace Hotel. read more

Crab Nachos were bomb af!! The thought of it made my mouth water, its also the sole reason why I chose this place over another nearby bar. The nachos consisted of grilled onions, real crabmeat, white cheddar, lime sour cream, and avacado/guac. They drizzle the white cheddar cheese over the nachos, then broil it. We live in California and wasn't expecting such great food late night at a bar. We were all so amazed by the dishes that came out. Everything was delicious. The drinks also were fantastic. The bartender was also so welcoming and inviting. I was randomly taking picture of his mural of Ken Griffey Jr on wall and he came up gave me IG account to watch time lapse about how it was made. This place is great. Keeping everyone safe and clean by requiring vaccinations for indoor seating. Outdoor seating is kept nice and warm with heat lamps. Drinks were interesting and tasty too we tried almost all of them and the CancunCruz, Down with OPP, and the devils margarita were the groups favorites. I got the chicken parm the chicken was crispy and juicy and the tomato sauce was so fresh I think the pasta can use a tad more salt. 8/10 the free range wings were okay the sauce the a little bit sweet for my taste 5/10. The painted hills beef burger was simple and juicy it could be a little bigger. 7/10 The lobster risotto was delicious 8/10 as well. This place is perfect for groups or just a pair on a night out. Came back to Some Random Bar while my friend was in town a couple weekends ago to enjoy the happy hour and watch a football game. I LOVE that they do happy hours on Saturdays, and their drinks are all so good and such a great price. Plus, it was one of the few local spots I knew of that had multiple tvs where I could request a particular college football game I wanted to watch. I will definitely come back for their happy hours and really enjoy that their drink menu changes with the season so you can always try something new! read more

In town for the weekend, this happened to be our Saturday night pick. We ordered the free range wings, garlic pull apart and crab nachos. Everything was amazing. We were sat immediately and received fast service with a smile. If there is one thing you absolutely cannot miss here it's the wings hands down. The flavor was amazing and they fell right off the bone, I suggest ordering with the chipotle aioli for extra kick. I'm a Belltown local that's been coming here for the better part of the last decade. These guys have top notch food, great drinks and consistently great service. Their food and drinks are usually split in half with seasonal rotating selections (such as pork belly bahn mintacos, chicken parmesan) along with their iconic staples suchs as garlic pull apart bread, crab nachos, and other tasty sandwiches. They have rotating beers on draft, competitive pricing for some of their premium spirits (japanese whiskey etc) and big screen TVs to catch any games that might be on as well. I'm visiting Seattle from San Francisco for the Memorial Day weekend holidays and on the way back from space needle we stumbled onto this place for food and drinks. I must say the staffs were amazing and we really loved the food. Cocktails were wonderful specially the margaritas and espresso martini. I'd also like to appreciate that they were very considerate about a friend of mine regarding her allergies with nuts. Sitting arrangements are pretty cool too; indoor comes with dim lighting and music whereas outside patio is pretty cool if you're looking to chat amongst yourselves and enjoy the dinner.
