The food was delicious, and we really appreciated being able to bring our own wine. The location is surprisingly brilliant: parking is plentiful, an ATM is conveniently nearby, and the moment you step through the door, any skepticism about strip-mall dining evaporates instantly. The staff welcomes you not like customers, but like family returning home for Sunday supper -- warm, genuine, and utterly disarming. And then comes the food: fresh, beautifully prepared, and authentically Italian in a way that's increasingly rare to find. My dietary needs are a bit off the mark- however there was not a bit of hesitation to tweak my meal. Don't let the address fool you. The best things in life are often hiding in plain sight. It should be at the top of everyone's list for pasta and pizza.

The staff know me after so many years and they know what I like. That feels good as a customer. If I need deli-service I can toss a coin on the level of service I'll get. One time a young clerk stood in front of me and stared. No "hello, may I help you." I smiled as I looked at him and said- "Good morning?" I held hope that my example would help him mirror my behavior and be friendlier to the next person. At the coffee counter, my chances are 70/30 that I'll get poor service. It feels like they're doing me a favor. I drink black coffee. Simple and easy, yet it's usually an awkward experience. The supplement department staff is usually excellent and very helpful. The inventory is good. I usually find what I need. The produce section is well stocked. I like their avocados. I rarely need help, but the staff is always helpful and friendly when I do. I love the self-serve bulk spice and tea section. You can save so much money buying in bulk. Check-out cashiers can be very good and friendly or tepid. Considering how much I'm paying for the privilege to shop here, I shouldn't be so casual about this store, but there are few markets in the area. Customer service is a tough job, I understand.

The ambiance outside was gorgeous. Here's what we ordered: Cesar Salad - good just ask for the dressing on the side as it was overdressed. Mozzarella sticks - didn't have the cheese pull I was expecting, I did appreciate that it wasn't as salty as most places, however, it was more breaded than cheese. Penne with sausage and fungi - good! To be honest it was even better tasting as leftovers, as the flavor was soaked in by the pasta. Sole fish with lemon sauce - came with pasta, my husband said it was exactly, if not more, what he wanted! He would order this again. Bread - free for first serving, charge after. It was definitely a bit on the harder side. Overall, everything was pretty okay. It wasn't memorable or bursting with flavor. It was simple and clean and that can definitely be what someone is looking for in Italian food!

We brought the dog this time and so decided to eat outside (where space heaters kept us toasty). We got the vegetarian and, while the tomatoes were a bit mushy, it was pretty good for pizza in a Danish-themed tourist town. That said, a family throwing a party inside decided to let their young children (maybe 3, 5 and 7 tops) play outside (including playing music) and scream at the top of their lungs the the entire time. I mean actual, piercing screams that ruined the meal for us while they literally ran around our table. When we mentioned it to the waitress, thinking maybe she could intervene, she just shrugged. We asked for a to-go box.

There were several other customers in the pizza shop however, the owner assisted us in moving numerous tables together in order to accommodate us. The place is very nice, clean and well organized. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The personal sized pizzas were very good, fresh and though I rarely eat pizza, I had no regrets whatsoever. Prices were very reasonable and the portion sizes were more than enough to feed our group.

This is a review based on how a private event was handled. I would have given 1 star based on just…read morethe event but the food was decent so I'll give this place two stars instead of one. I would never book an event at this venue. First, there are two separate rooms connected by a hallway. Apparently the host of the event was not notified there was another party going on in the backroom. This normally wouldn't have been a problem except the food from the kitchen had to be brought through our party. Not enjoyable when we are all starving and the food keeps being brought through our room to another party instead of to ours. Unfortunately, it gets worse: I put in a simple order for my kids: 2 buttered spaghetti dishes. The head waitress put the order in on the computer (at least that's what it looked like). Ok so 10 minutes go by and still no spaghetti. My kids are starving so I ask nicely about the spaghetti and the waitress brushes me off and says it's on the way. What made me really mad was when another kid received his ravioli that was ordered 10 minutes after my order. And we still didn't have our spaghetti! At that point I was pretty upset so I asked the waittess if the pasta was being made because an order after me just came through. Instead of admitting she forgot my order (which was obvious) the waitress gaslighted me and said our orders were placed at the same time. I was with the other person who ordered the ravioli and he definitely put his order in well after mine. After about 30+ minutes my kids just ate the bread and gave up. The spaghetti finally came out and no one touched it. The waitress didn't apologize for the wait or anything. She just placed the spaghetti on the table and walked away. I've never been gaslit by a waitress in my life. Worst experience at a restaurant I have ever had. I will never come back here again.
