1975 Marantz sounds better than new!!

Excellent place to go to get your vintage Marantz repaired. It sounded really weak on phono so I was told to go here. Stephan helped me out and the charges me $35 to check it out. They totally cleaned it up and replaced some parts and even my wife was impressed with the new sound. I almost couldn't believe it's the same unit!! Stephan gave me some great CD to play on my car as well. Along with some college stories. And, the coffee spot next door is great as well.

Solutions electronics are only good for repairing small electrical items.. stereo perhaps speakers and turntables.. I bought a hard drive professional digital Roland 2480 recorder, which is not on the market.. I was told by the owner Stefan "absolutely yes we can repair it anything can be repaired!" So I bought the my recorder over to his shop waited waited 2 months before I got an answer, took the machine home started it up it played fine the first day shut it down put it up again didn't play at all.. so to make a long story short, don't bring any equipment in there that's hard drive recorders or anything to do with computer electronics they don't know how to fix that.. stick to the small stuff that's what they're good for..

There was nothing wrong with my device but I was too embarrassed to say anything -_-

Nice guy. I got a free cd but it cost me 169. There was nothing wrong with my device; however, it was real old and I wanted them to just take a look at it. It ended up costing me 169 plus 25 for inspection. I came in and left with the same record player.

The owner is a nut who gives you a lecture about how we're listening to music wrong and tries to upsell you what he thinks sounds good.

Charged me way more than we discussed and didn't fully fix my equipment. I will not be coming back here anytime soon.

Stefan has fixed every musical instrument issue I've had for the past decade for very reasonable prices.

He successfully fixed both of mine, and thanks to his expertise, I was able to retrieve years of archived music. I highly recommend him--he's not only skilled, but also honest and fair.

We got a VHS/DVD combo from my husband's grandmother who passed away and after testing it we…read morerealized it's not powering. We wanted to fix it. Who used a VCR nowadays? Well, us, for work related transfers and as cinefile-s (some movies - and they're rare were never released passed the VHS era). I started to look into Electronic Repair stores in the area and there aren't many left. Not surprised, but it's LA, so luckily, there are a few left in business, like FET Electronics. I read the Yelp reviews, it was encouraging and bookmarked it! Fast forward 3 months later, we had another issue with a similar Panasonic model that we own, so we decided to give the place a shot. My husband called over, talked to Mark, the owner and felt reassured after their conversation because he identified the issues just over the phone. We stopped by one day and dropped them and met Mark, who is very nice, knowledgeable, a real professional. Not many like him left behind! Too bad that is a profession that is going away. You don't always feel like throwing out equipment that has an issue and get a new one, not always that easy for your set up. Everyone has their reasons! The place is in Burbank, on Burbank Blvd. (close to the Hollywood Way intersection), we found street parking in front. The store might seem small, but it goes all the way back! It's a geek electronics paradise, lots of audio equipment around. Mark also did work for major musicians like Van Halen among many others - check his photo gallery on the wall! Famed clients! We left the VCR-s, called in about 2 weeks and he fixed them, he was testing them to make sure! After a few days we picked them up, he checked them for us, and he gives you a 3 months warranty which is great. If you're in a rush, this might not work out since Mark is busy, but if you're patient, he will get it fixed in a few weeks. It's not cheap, but he gets high quality parts and it makes sense for the repair to last. If you have an old piece of equipment that needs to be fixed, Mark is the guy. Hurry in before he retires! He is very nice, kind, nice to chat with, reassuring, calm, and very, very knowledgeable, you will trust him on the spot. Closed in the weekend! Great experience, great place, hope it will be around for a while. It helped our situation and the location is great! Nice to get great service at a local small business in the area!
