I found their pricing to be quite reasonable considering the quality of the work done.

Jesse did an outstanding job repairing/restoring a very intricate stained glass window from an old…read morechurch. Before Jesse's intervention, the tiny glass pieces embedded within, had started to all collapse together inward like a bowl (originally it was flat) and some of the pieces were missing. Also, this stained glass window had been underlaid by light tubes to illuminate the colorful glass at one time, but that whole mechanism had broken down, along with the wiring. Also, it was very dirty. Jesse turned the entire scenario around1 The stained glass pieces were so tiny that it is amazing he could even put this together again, but he did, and with excellence! Now it is appropriately flat again, and he cleaned all those tiny glass pieces! He even repaired the whole lighting mechanism! He added an important scaffolding to help fortify its structure as well. He really knows what he is doing and is very pleasant to work with! His fee is very fair. Attached are photos of his work, one with the lights off & one with them on. 'Wish I could show you all how dilapitated the total window looked before Jesse's work! I heartily recommend Jesse!

It was pretty messed up, with stained glass I was sure they would never be able to duplicate. Jessie came out, took the entire piece of window and within 2 weeks it was back in the door. He did such a superb job You couldn't even tell it had been repaired. I kept Jessie's number, having a gut feeling I would need him again. 10 years later, we had a tree cut down in the back yard. One of the large branches came down and took out a very expensive custom made street lamp, breaking all the glass and severely damaging the metal. I knew he did stained glass so I called him in a panic and he came out. Took it back to his laboratory and soon enough, it was good as new. He even matched the glass to the exact pattern. You guys, this man is a miracle worker. Thanks again, Jessie!

Hi Ashland Glass,…read more I'm writing as a recent customer regarding my interaction with Patrick. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. During our communication, he was dismissive and made a comment implying that I didn't understand due to my gender identity, which I found inappropriate and unprofessional. It's unfortunate, as this could have been a great partnership. Based on this experience, I will not be moving forward with your company. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and leads to more respectful communication with future clients.

The glass was repaired, but they did not put my ADT security sensor back on the window frame. For people who have ADT system will know, it takes two pieces of sensors to line up on the window in order to activate the alarm. I called and spoke with a person. I told him what happened, but he pretty much blaming me. He said that I told them I have the ADT system on my other panel. Yes I do, but it is only one of the two pieces. I told them there is another sensor on the window panel that they fixed it. I asked him just to look for it. He did not. He blamed me, and said he was talking to me in a nice way. I told him all I asked is for him to look for it, but he did not. I wasn't rude at all, all I asked was that if he can look for it. If you are in the glass and mirror business, you should know that the metal piece on the window panel is the sensor for a security system. Now my security system is not working properly at all. I already paid in advance. It is pretty much he said I said. I lost because I paid for the services but now I have to pay more for ADT to fix the security system simply because of a window panel. I hung up the phone call because it is getting nowhere. I just want to warn you that if you are using their services, make sure you take pictures and write down everything you have. I have no doubt that the owner or person will twist the whole truth, it is what my experiences, and I will not recommend this company.

The windows arrived on time and the installation was seamless. The installers don't speak much English (Polish) but that wasn't a big deal. We've had the windows through summer and winter now and they are great - function correctly, look nice, and the price couldn't be beat. They turned, stared at us, and continued to stare at us. My husband said "Hello," and one of them grudgingly responded with a disdainful, "Hi." Awkward silence ensued. Ok... Meanwhile, a tall young woman with curly red hair continued to stare, as if we'd broken into her private studio and she was aghast at our temerity in invading her personal space. No one asked what we wanted, and Curly Red only grudgingly answered my husband when he asked if it was ok to look around. ("Um.....it is. Sure." she said, with a chill and without a smile.) I've never felt more unwelcome anywhere. I assumed Colorsmith was a business (reaffirmed by their website)--where anyone who had interest enough to walk in was greeted with warmth and grace, if for no other reason (such as fundamental civility) than the understanding that potential clients can become actual clients. Yet, the friendliest one was the cockatiel. Couldn't wait to leave and won't be back. I'm sure they don't care.
