I really liked it, but it was in a sad shape. There was a gooey residue on the barrel that would sometimes leave imprints on peoples clothes if they brushed up against it. And the barrel hoops kept falling down. Chicago fabrications brought the barrel back to life. They did an excellent job sanding and staining the barrel and cleaning up the metal hoops and fastening them so they would no longer slip down the barrel. And all that residue is gone. It looks like a million bucks and I would definitely recommend them for any projects you may be thinking of

This is an important choice for our cities, and our citizens. In our house, we are thrilled to support Tyler & Team. Although our first project was small, a trio of gorgeous live-edge walnut shelves for a tricky hallway laundry lack-of-storage issue, Whitney made sure that we left feeling like the most important clients to walk through the doors. Not only did her experience and ideas make the project much better, but it was done in less than half the time estimated, with some amazing trivets provided from the scraps as a gift. No doubt that they will be our go-to team for all future projects!

He followed up, and we realized there was a scheduling mixup. His team came out and did a great job on the sides and the back of our building, and then they came out a second time to do the front. I am ELATED by the results. There was a pest issue in our building that was hitting me the hardest (five mice in two years), and I was going bonkers trying to figure out how in the world mice were getting in when I am a stickler for Sweeper Sundays (cleaning from top to bottom every Sunday). Even after exterminations, even they were a bit puzzled about why my unit was getting hit more than anybody else's. An extermination supervisor pointed out a sizable amount of openings in the outside bricks were specifically surrounding my unit. It has been an altogether different experience ever since. His team filled in every single brick that had been chewed through, including these tiny holes that were leading from the front door into the lobby. Just like that, the problem stopped. The tuckpointing job they did also makes the building bricks look cleaner and the building less aged. My only gripe is it became a bit of a task to get the W9 form from this company. I called, texted and emailed to no response when he was responding almost immediately during the hiring stage. Lesson learned: Get W9 form before releasing any payments. He did eventually send it though. Regardless of that, the actual work? It's still in top-notch condition with all the rain, snow and icy conditions. Kudos!

That in itself is common when companies are busy, but when you get a voice mail for a business it is expected that you reached the correct number - their voice mail just says "Hello please leave a message after the tone." So I called back in case I got a personal phone number in error. Barker isn't alone in this; over the years, companies make very little effort to be welcoming and professional. It's probably a matter of supply and demand.
