We had them come out a couple years ago to replace the mailbox housing on our condo association front gate/fence, and the previously leaky mailboxes are dry and secure ever since. Today we noticed that our gate had 2 hinges rusted through - they sent over a quote promptly and even came out the same day! They not only added new hinges, but also removed and cleaned up the old hinges that had been previously left behind, primed and painted, tightened the latch, and installed a new closer. They were very communicative and flexible when the weather caused a delay in part of our project. This review is way overdue!! I had a pot rack that needed to be hung but the problem was the beam I wanted to affix it to was on an angle. I sent a photo of my dilemma and Kandy texted me back with a quote for a custom bracket. Jerry came by and was able to assess what needed to be done and explain to me how he was going to execute it. Been needing to get my front fence repainted for awhile and the gates realigned for a couple of years now. Finally got around to it given the pandemic and these guys were able to do it all for me! While it may have been cheaper to just bid out the painting and alignment separately, to get it all done in one go was worth it to me. We had a great experience with Welds on Wheels. They did excellent work in a timely manner, for a reasonable price, and the customer service was extremely professional and always responsive. We looked for many months for a company to fix the side gate in our bungalow, which was crooked because the ground had settled after some underground work was done. The sagging had cause the door to not be able to open properly, and for years, we could not even use it. We tried contacting other companies but we had terrible luck with all other companies we contacted. But one day I saw the Welds on Wheels crew working on a neighbor's gate, and I approached them and asked for information. They gave me their card and referred me to Kandy for a quote and scheduling. Within a day, we received a call, and within another day, a visit from Kandy and an estimate. We scheduled the work, they came and did the work when they said they would, and it was done so well I could not believe it. It looked like nothing was ever wrong, and our gate looks and works great. I contacted Welds on Wheels to weld the door to my front gate after it fell off. The customer service was great and the work I requested was done promptly, efficiently, and was reasonably priced. However, I am leaving a two star review due to the work that was done that I DID NOT request and DID NOT want. In short, the previous owner installed a cheap $20-$25 dollar lock upside down. The welders decided to correct it (i.e., take it off, turn it the appropriate way, and add two new screws ) without contacting me for approval. I was called after this was completed and was charged an additional $80, again for something I DID NOT request. Update 3/27- Changing my review form 2 to 4 stars after the 'Welds on Wheels' corrected the charge. read more

I just need an iron latch to be re-welded onto my gate, as it fell off. Unfortunately when I called Welds on Wheels, they told me they have a minimum of $220 per project. They don't really advertise that, so I figured I would advertise it for them! =) If you have a 15 minute job, these are NOT the people to call. Heck, they wouldn't even take down my information in case they were going to be nearby my house and could just swing by if they were around within the next few weeks. Needed 2 iron railings repaired on our rear cement steps. The posts had rusted through. Called up WoW and was able to take pictures and send them in. A reasonable quote followed. His office was ALWAYS RESPONSIVE, they were EXTREMELY ACCOMODATING, and the work was of SUPERIOR QUALITY. He charged me MUCH LESS than he could have and SIGNIFICANTLY LESS than the competition.
