Quote was separated into different areas: 1)Drywall, mud, tape and finish for paint in mud room,paint 2)Repair damaged drywall on ceiling in kitchen, paint 3)Repair damaged freshly on basement stairs,paint Every step was itemized and had the price next to it so if I thought paint was too much, I'd be able to remove that option. At the end, you pay for any items they needed to purchase to compete your job. I opted for all three items to be completed and also asked for additional things to be added throughout the projects (trim, baseboards, crown molding, paint) and they accommodated every aspect (with additional cost, of course). 2 guys were here for about a week and they were both extremely respectful of the property (booties, cleaned everything, busted ass)..they even asked to use the bathroom every time even though I don't think that was necessary (there was a language barrier of Ukrainian/Russian, so made it a bit hard to know closet meant bathroom lol). They took out the original floor- tile and mortar bed, all the way to the subfloor. Then they re-did everything, added a curb (we had curbless before), and raised the sliding glass doors which had been installed too low. We are thrilled with the job they did; cleaned up every day and start to finish only took four days. We recommend without hesitation!

Robert and his team hammered out this project in a very timely manner. They also did an incredible job. We interviewed 8 different contractors and All Tech's estimate was the most detailed and fairly priced. The pricing was competitive because All Tech can do the vast majority of the work in house. They also have their own equipment, reducing the cost for renting things like scaffolding and etc. Tom, their master carpenter, is an absolute genius. Unsure how he managed to measure everything so precisely, he had our new office room framed in a single day! Everyone on the team worked very diligently and cooperatively. The final invoice was super close to the original bid and only included extra items that we specifically requested to be added during the pendancy of the project. Given how well everything went, all the negative reviews here must have come from unreasonable people. If this review ends up in the "not recommended" category, it's because Yelp is a terrible platform that seems to only promote negative reviews from the biggest crackpots on the site. It is a little odd to see the owner replying on here rather than calling us originally and handling this mess. For a comapny that "pride [itself] on our quality, reputation and relationships with customers," this seems at odds. It is also important to know the reputation qualtiy and relationship established here. Members of the community deserve to know what to expect. D&R shouldn't be taking on any jobs or coming out for estimates if they are going to bail and can't do the work. If I could give zero stars I would. As someone that reads reviews I write this in the hopes that someone avoids the headache we did in working with D&R. D&R was recommended to us through a home inspection company as a premier company to handle water issues in our split face block building. Bill came out and inspected the property and was working with us to get estimates and contractors out. Long story short after 3 months of working with us D&R bailed citing that they lost caprenters and could no longer GC work for our HOA and building. AFter 3 months and multiple site visits we had to go back to the drawing board and interview new companys all over again. When we told them how unprofessional it all was the officer manager said there was nothing she could do but say sorry. When we asked if they could refer us to someone else to help us they said no and said we could look up licensing agencies and essentially cold call contractors. Two years ago D/R services used AWM roofing to build a new roof on our house. While it was still…read moreunder warranty the roof began letting in water through a wire to a rooftop HVAC unit. Instead of immediately taking responsibility, Lance blamed it on our HVAC service provider, and we had to call the HVAC provider out to our property to verify that they never touched the wire opening in question (holes on the roof through which water is entering our house are below). At that point, Lance finally told us that he'd reached out to AWM to repair the defects on the roof, and that they would do so "next time he is in your area." That was over a month ago and both Lance and AWM have been blowing us off. Communication has been abysmal: we only get updates when we beg for them, and they are always of the "haven't heard from then/haven't gotten around to it yet" variety. Do not use D/R Services. They will do defective work for a high price, then treat you like an inconvenience when you try to get them to fix it.
