My first trip there consisted of simple, standard offerings from a sweet older couple. The salon has changed drastically! They offer just about anything you want! They have every kind of nail, 3-D, designs, art, it's awesome. I was in the mood for pampering so I chose the $45.00 pedicure. I was not disappointed. I got a long, wonderful massage and a paraffin dip for my feet. Honestly the softest my feet have ever been post pedicure. I also got a set of crystal nails. The tips themselves have glitter and stars. I love them! The best part is, it didn't take forever, the nail salon I was going to would have taken 3 hours for a pedi and nails. This was just over an hour. I was thrilled with the results, too. Best part? They offer customer loyalty cards, so many punches and you get a free service. Awesome, right? They also give you a full size Bath and Body works lotion if you spend 60 dollars (which I did that day). However, I went in for a fill and it was less than 20 before tip. They are very friendly too, which is important.

I enjoy supporting local business, but unfortunately Noire Nail Salon is one I can't recommend…read more I've been 2-3 times now and decided to give them another chance, but I left disappointed. Several of the massage chairs were broken during my visit, which was disappointing but certainly not a deal breaker. My bigger issue was the pricing and lack of communication. I was charged $55 for what was listed in the menu book as a $35 pedicure. I did later notice that there is a sign near the front register stating that gel polish is an additional $20 to any pedicure service. However, that additional charge is not included in the menu book they provide when you are seated in the back of the salon, where the sign at the front is not visible. I think something that significantly changes the advertised price of a service should be clearly shown on the menu customers are actually using to choose their service. The final issue for me was simply having gel polish removed. I was asked multiple times if I wanted a manicure, and each time I clearly explained that I did not want a manicure or polish -- I only wanted the existing gel removed. The technician used a grinder to remove it, and once my nails became sensitive, I asked if we could soak the gel off instead. They soaked them briefly and then continued grinding. I was very surprised to then be charged $30, essentially the cost of a full manicure, just for gel polish removal. If I had been told beforehand that removal alone would cost $30, I would not have agreed to the service. The staff was nice enough and my nails ultimately look fine, but between the pricing, unclear charges, and lack of communication about the services being performed, I won't be returning.

Unfortunately I went to have my nails done today and had a terrible experience. I had been to this…read moresalon before to have my toes done and it was a great experience... this was my first time getting my nails done and it was not relaxing or enjoyable in the slightest. The lady that did my nails was very rough. She ripped up my cuticles and was very aggressive with the cuticle clippers and not being careful at all. Afterwards as they are bleeding she sprayed and wiped alcohol on them twice which left all of my 10 fingernails burning. Then after that she used the nail dremel to shave them down and hit almost every burning cuticle. The shaping was also poor unfortunately as soon as I got home I had to file them over to at least make them have smooth edges but as you can see they still are not the same. Very upsetting and now they are left burning and sore.

The salon is bright and airy and very clean. Anna was the girl who helped me and she was probably the sweetest thing ever. After two weeks of moving and walking around in flip flops my toes needed a definite bit of pampering. She was personable and professional and made sure I felt all sorts of relaxed. I've been back since my initial visit and have to say I got the same amazing level of service from Anna on my first visit. Can't wait to go back!

I went a second time to finish my gift card and got a fill in. I actually loved them, but when I took them off, I had nail fungus on several nails. So gross. I've gotten my nails done for years and have never had that happen before. I went a couple years without getting them done and then went this last time bc of the gift card. I'm assuming it's from improperly sanitized tools or something from the first person. Definitely won't go there again! :(

I don't do anything out of the ordinary that would cause my nails to peel, and my previous dip manicure from another salon lasted more than 3 weeks. Since I'm staying in the area for the week, I chose this salon because it was convenient and close by. It may have just been a fluke, and I would consider trying the salon again because I had a good experience with the staff and the service itself. However, I probably wouldn't get dip nails again based on this experience.
