Went to get a full set and was so disappointed. The person that worked I. My nails never spoke to me after asking the color. I told him that my finger was burning and he said that was good. It means the glue will stay on. I told him he cut the nails too short and he never acknowledged me. The only reason I went was because my usual nail salon was too busy today. They were really nice people, and it was crowded so I don't doubt it may be good however my $45 manicure didn't include lotion/massage, no cuticle cutting or pushing back beds, no buffing. It was super fast and I left extremely disappointed after leaving a descent tip. The nails were chipped and not coated enough, the led light wasn't going on and she was convinced it was. Unfortunately 2 days later from the beds they are all peeled up so I literally can peel each one off perfectly intact ‍ I do NOT recommend this place. It was originally recommended to me for nail art with Brian which I don't personally do but he is SOOOOOOOOO nice and he seems to do a good job. Would consider going back to try him but again because everyone was truly so kind and helpful but again very rushed and gels didn't keep. read more

I went in with my daughter today to get our nails done with gel polish. I had a younger girl and she had no clue what she was doing. I told her before we started that I needed acrylic on just my thumb nails cause those ones had broke and wanted them the same length as my other nails. She started and while she was cleaning my cuticles she cut me with the cuticle clippers. Then she started to put the base layer on my nails. When I reminded her that I asked for the acrylic on my thumbs she told me no and next time. I'm sorry but I told her at the beginning that I needed the acrylic. I can't believe she told me no. I won't be back. Between that and having to ask questions to the other worker what to do while doing my nails is enough for me not to go back. Definitely not happy with my service. My thumb nails are shorter than my other nails and it looks restarted. read more

The place is cluttered. I don't like switching nail techs especially when I'm almost done. They should say they are an assembly line and it's expected. Their check-in process is a bit clunky for first time users. When nail salons don't have receptionists, it's hard to know what to expect, how long to wait and the name of the tech. read more

This is the worst nail salon I have ever used. I had a pedicure and French gel mani. The pedicure was just OK. Rushed, no relaxing or pampering. May have taken 15 min. , my manicure was awful. My nails are so wavy they were not smoothed over with the drill as is usually the case . They came out rippled. The machine to dry the gell was so worn out the plastic burned my fingers. They didn't have me wash my hands before the oil, so I left there with Un rubbed In oil and grit. Just gross. The staff was gossiping and talking about customers after they left. They did not rush you and gave you all the one on one attention. I have been using Ann and, she is fantastic!! I have had about 8 nail appointments with her and, every one of them, she gave me her undivided attention. My first time coming was the day before Easter. They were extremely busy. Some people had to wait but what do you expect when the salon is packed and each chair was full. Getting a manicure should be a time to relax and enjoy your time. I called to get an appointment and it took me 2 phone calls to make the appointment. The first person I spoke with couldn't understand English. I called back to make an appointment. To make a long story short, my nails look awful. The girl that did the manicure used old polish that was very thick. At the last coat of polish she opened a new bottle of gel polish but the polish from the first bottle looks uneven and thick. The owner was yelling directions to her staff so she was very loud. A woman who had an appointment came in around 2pm to get her granddaughter a manicure with her and the owner told her to come back at 5:30! She had an appointment. Meanwhile she took a group of teenagers without an appointment. I hope that woman leaves a bad review online. I will never go back there. For some reason the last owners were also rude and behaved badly. I plan on going to Wilmington to get a good manicure. I gave one star but they deserve no stars. read more

NEVER GO HERE!!! I made an appointment ahead of time and I was rushed and was 1000000% UNSATISFIED with my nails. I asked them to keep the square shape of my toes and trim them and he cut them so short and shaped them horribly. I made them add acrylic to my big toes after they trimmed them too short but the rest of my toes look terrible and way too short. Then my acrylic fill in was rushed and done poorly. My nails look chunky and there's bubbles in the gel polish and it is just terrible. I wish I would give 0 stars bc they don't even deserve 1 star. I absolutely refused to pay for my pedicure and left very distraught and upset that my toe nails are short and ugly for my vacation and the nails are not done good either but I'm just so upset over the awful pedicure that it ruined my entire day I hate the nails too tho. Horrible. I had an appointment. I arrived fifteen minutes beforehand, signed in, told them I was there then sat and waited. About 20 minutes later they told me to go back and sit in the chair. Okay, a few minutes late but understandable. Another 30 minutes go by. Nobody starts the pedicure let alone checks on me. I make eye contact with almost every single employee and not one says anything to me or any of the other employees about me. Totally ignored. I finally got sick of sitting with my feet in freezing water, got up and left. It wasn't until I was at the door an employee yelled at me "I'm coming! I'm coming!" I very kindly said sorry but it's too late. Such a disappointment. Why take appointments if you're not going to honor them? I wasted an hour of my time for nothing. read more

I only stayed as long as I did because of my nail tech, Julie. But this salon has gone through 3 owners since I've been going there (12 years) and these last have been absolutely awful. They treat the girls terribly, are rude to customers and blatantly lie over phone and in person about wait times and prices. Worst manicure I have ever received. Gentlemen gave me a pedicure and then proceeded to prop a pillow up on the arm of the pedicure chair, cut nails down to the quick. they are uneven, some square, some round and caused cuticle to bleed. Poor customer service and a waste of money. Went with the hopes of a relaxing experience and leaving with my nails painted. To begin the nail tech blamed me for the remaining polish residue all over my nails from previous polish. They got the color tint all over my hands, nails and cuticles. They didn't trim my cuticles and then used a polish that keep cracking. They tried to repaint it 3 different times and when the others I came with were finished I no longer wanted to wait around. They refused to reimburse or provide a gift card and said I experienced/received a manicure without the polish. Very disappointed with my first nail experience since COVID quarantine. Not to mention their waiting area and seats are not 6 feet apart. read more

Whenever I am in this area visiting my parents I go to Beverly nails. The prices are good, the place is clean,the staff is friendly, and its what you'd expect from a nail salon in a strip mall. I like my manicurist to really get after my cuticles and they are very good at that. Also, of all the nail salons I've been to, and I've been to many, the gel stays on the best here for some reason. I had a French manicure that didn't chip for a month. Was very happily surprised and I've even held back on getting nails done at home when I know I'll be in the Wilmington/Leland area in less than a week because I'd rather go to Beverly. Would give a zero if I could. I wanted my usual coffin nail shape as in picture one (I showed the lady the exact picture) and the second picture is what I ended up with. The experience was great on the beginning and progressively got worst. Upsale after upsale after upsale even after denial. I finally gave into gel nails instead of my normal acrylic. I told the lady I wasn't pleased with the shape and she tried to talk down to me as if I've never had my nails done or did my nails as I asked. She said different people do it differently and said she asked me if I liked them. I told her the first time she asked me I didn't like the shape and she then made it worst. Why she wanted to argue with me is beyond my comprehension especially since I was totally chill. I even suggested maybe coming back to have them fixed and she replied no she doesn't have time so she'll take them off. The entire time she's taking the nails off the lady behind me is narrating a fictitious account of what happened because she was obviously possessing the nail technician who was doing my nails (in order to know everything that happened). In addition to taking off my nails she decided to huff puff and almost blew my freaking nails off while chanting in her native tongue to the other nail technicians. What a waste of 3 hours. No nails and $25 for a pedicure my 6 year old cousin could have done. No one could pay me to come back and waste my time and money. read more

Without saying "hello", the man ringing up a customer brusquely asked if he could help me and when I told him what I wanted, he said, "we don't have time." I then asked if they would have time at some point this afternoon, and in his brusque manner said,"come back later." He did not suggest a time when they could do it. Beverly Nails is not my normal nail salon, but I was in a different part of town and decided to drop in. I went in early on a weekday, right around opening time. There was one other person waiting. I was greeted and asked what I needed. All I wanted was a manicure and clear polish. The lady looked at me like I asked for a kidney, then she stared at the appointment book and finally pointed at a chair for me to sit. The manicure was mediocre at best. I had already cut my nails, so all that needed to be done was some light filing and polish. The technician was not friendly what-so-ever and acted as if I was a thorn in her side. I can't figure out why. I watched as she coughed (without a face-mask) and scratched her head repeatedly. Also, there is a sign that asks for cash tips, which is fine... if you deserve the tip! It is earned, not just assumed. I decided to pay my money (in cash, like they want) and no tip. She glanced at the money and looked disappointed. I said "thank you" and she didn't even look up to acknowledge me. I would've been more than happy to give a nice tip, if it was warranted. After leaving I took a closer look at my nails and the polish was dried onto my skin in several places and my nails were filed unevenly. Will not come back to Beverly Nails again. read more
