It makes me sad to see a negative review of Bliss Nails because that has not been my experience with the salon. Luphe (one of the owners) started doing my nails at another salon when I first moved to Wilmington. I had tried two other places before finding her and had terrible experiences. When Luphe informed me that she was opening her own place, I didn't hesitate to follow her to the new salon. The salon is always clean and the owners are always quick to greet you when you come in. Not to mention the salon is gorgeous! Luphe has went out of her way more than once to accommodate my schedule to make sure I could get in. She is also a perfectionist when it comes to your satisfaction. One time I asked for something really difficult to do. Luphe stayed late and redid my nails multiple times until she felt like they were perfect. I get compliments on my nails all the time! I think it's important to remember that this is a new business but the owners know what they are doing. It is going to take some trial and error to find other nail techs that can meet their standards. I can assure anyone that if they ever have a problem with their nails, the owners will make it right if you just tell them! I now live an hour away and happily make the drive into Wilmington because I wouldn't consider letting anyone else do my nails. I LOVE it! read more

This is my spot the atmosphere is very fitting for a relaxing experience but I have to give them 4 stars because I miss Reina. She was my go to there. No matter the design, she mastered it every single time. Now I must give credit to the lady on the very end... I dare not screw up the spelling of her name but she's been doing a wonderful job with designing my nails as well. read more

I got my feet done here and I don't think it was worth $45, the nail polishes looked old and I ended up with a toe infection the day after I got them done. They're nice people just not sanitary. read more

Bliss Nails Salon - Acrylic Fill Ins - Nail Salons Near Me - Wilmington, North Carolina

Recently had our second visit for pedicures. First was in June the last was in August. Our first experience was good meeting no issues there weren't many folks in the place getting their nails done. Overall everything was adequate. They were working on the inside at the time but that didn't bother me. Fast forward to another trip to get pedicures this month (august).Google showed they were permanently closed but I'm naturally skeptical. So I called and they were open I made an appointment. We were two of three customers at the time. We had no issues getting our pedicures started. I even took pics of the inside and got the Google hours fixed for the nail salon. This is where things went too far and is why I'm giving a 2 star review. They asked if we wanted some thing to drink long story short the soda was a year expired. The lady working on my husband's pedicure nipped him with the cuticle scissors pretty descent. It bled for a while. My pedicure was fine expect for pulling skin on the ball of my foot with the scissors instead of snipping. I don't have much to work with to begin with so doing that made my foot sore in that spot. For the price, I would recommend another place. read more

Bliss Nails Salon - This is 1 1/2 weeks after getting them done!! This place is amazing!!! - Nail Salons Near Me - Wilmington, North Carolina

I need to speak up due to me giving this place multiple 5 star reviews. I cannot have my name attached to that anymore. When I first started coming here it was wonderful. I loved it!! As you can tell in all of my reviews. They had a lovely Lady named Nancy who worked there and she left. They have a lady named Tête now who is just awful. One day, I was getting my nails done by her and she said the most hurtful, derogatory thing to me that there was no excuse for. Not to mention, that my fill in fell off in one week after she did them. I brought it to the managers attention because I was not going to return. She apologized and talked with Tete. After that, I received 2 gift certs for the place so I had to return. Twice while I was there they were playing music that was using all kinds of cuss words and derogatory language. I didn't really care cause it doesn't bother me. However, other people may be very offended. Another time a movie was playing where Alex scenes kept playing. Like- Major sex scenes. I actually have it recorded cause I couldn't believe it. Once again, I thought it was funny but I'm sure several people wouldn't. The icing on the cake is after this horrible incident twitch Tete, I had lost one of the gift cards and wrote to the owner about it asking if she could still let me come in cause they are numbered and she knows me enough to know I am not making it up. She refuses to do so. I am speaking up now. I will NEVER be back. Also, when they say 10 minute wait- it means 1 hour. But that's not unusual for these type of places. read more

I've lived in Wilmington for 3 years and honestly gave up trying to find a decent nail salon, I came to bliss expecting the same high prices for low quality nails but got the exact OPPOSITE! The man who did my full set was amazing. I've never had my nails this look good in my LIFE. He took his time on every nail, crafting and sculpting them to perfection. He gave me a hand and arm massage (which i've never received from any salon in wilmington) and did SNS polish for my long nails all for 55$!!! I've had crooked nails with regular paint and been charged 65+ at some of these wilmington salons. I am VERY VERY please with my experience here! read more

Gel manicure became chipping after 3 days. Also, there was an communication gap so it was very difficult to explain that I simply did not wish to have my nails filed too short. read more

Great dip manicure! It's my go-to now! And great spa feel...for everyone! Worth the reasonable price!

I don't understand how this place has good reviews... I made an appointment for 4:15 on a whim. I showed up and they seemed pissed that I was there and there were easily 10 other people waiting. Then they started speaking about me in Spanish while I was sitting right there not realizing I understand every word they said. I walked out after waiting over 25 minutes which was generous. Would not recommend this place unless you want to be talked about and wait for over 39 minutes. read more

I personally Loved this place. They did an excellent job and managed to seat the three of us on the busy Saturday before Christmas all together so we could chat while we had our services. I'd have given five stars for my service but my friend was served by a gal who said she didn't have time to add rhinestones to my friends nails and then proceeded to do a very unprofessional job (only two of her nails were to have crystals); just dropping three stones at the base of the nail not the vertical line she'd asked for as seen and pointed out on another clients nail. Very reasonably priced and a clean nice studio. Also I was t thrilled about the secret discussions and looks at my friends elderly mother as the two other pedicurists laughed and kept looking in her direction as they spoke in an Asian language. Made me wish I'd studied that language so I could say something. It seemed disrespectful to me. Nonetheless, I'd go back as the nail polish they used was good and after three weeks I still have my regular nail polish intact. read more

My new favorite nail salon!! I'm not from here, so it's hard to find a good nail salon that you actually trust. But i think I have found the right place, they were super nice, prices were reasonable and they did a great job on our pedicures. read more

I went to them because they were nearby. I was happy the owner spoke English however, her husband worked on my nails who didn't. I felt like he dremmeled too much but was assured it was ok. I got the gel nails with the dipping powder although I really don't like the look of the gel nails, I was told the powder was good for my nails. When they finally came off I had a fungus under 2 nails per another nail tech. My visit was in May 2021. I wasn't even going to post a review but I had a friend that got a really bad infection from a nail salon so thought maybe I can help someone else. read more

Very nice and did a great job. I was very pleased with the quality work they did. My nails turned out gorgeous.

I am new to the area and made the mistake of coming here. I should have known from the beginning as the lady struggled to remove my nail Polish with.. Alcohol, not acetone. While trying to remove it with a nail file, I informed her she needed acetone to remove nail polish. (and no, they weren't gel, just good ol' fashioned polish) she laughed and apologized. Grabbed the acetone and we were off. The rest was... scary. I don't know if she even knew how do use any of the tools? She was holding the cuticle cutter open, sideways, and using one sharp edge to pick at my cuticles. She only filed one foot as well. At this point, this isn't relaxing, and I had to ask her if she knew what she was doing... Her response "sorry my English isn't good" and just went back to picking at my toes. I have no issue with that, but if you see a client is concerned, maybe grab the manager or another lady that does, so we can discuss. I had planned on getting a simple manicure afterwards, but I declined. Too afraid at see what she'll do. Really disappointed as haven't treated myself to a mani pedi in almost two months. Also the shop is super cute. I was expecting so much more. Stay away, you could do a better job at home and it will be a lot cheaper and relaxing... read more

I've been going to Luphe and Gali for a while. They have both done my pedicures and SNS powder for my nails and are excellent. They really listen if I want to change the shape. They love helping me choose different colors so that I'm not using the same ones over and over again. My SNS nails tend to last 3-4 weeks, which beats going every 2 weeks for standard acrylic fill-ins. Anytime I go anywhere else for a special or because I'm not near their salon, I always regret it. They are definitely people-pleasers! read more
