However, the girl who did my manicure gets a 1. I made it clear that my nails grow very slowly and break easily. I wanted barely any filing yet she filed them until they were nearly to the quick on three different fingers. They now hurt and it's near impossible to pick things up. I would be very careful when having your nails done and be sure the technician understands English. Clearly she had no idea what I had told. So disappointed and I actually could have done better myself at home. I will add another layer of coating tonight and hope this lasts for our 18 day trip.

I had a full service (gel nail manicure and pedicure) as well as facial waxing. Every time I visit this lovely city, I make it a must do stop. My nails (hands and toes) have lasted for more than five weeks with no chips. In fact my toes were still perfect, just for the growth, even after five weeks. It is highly unfortunate that an individual chose to post a negative comment concerning this salon. However, my sister and I were present when this individual who came in with another female, entered the salon with a face mask and announced that she had the flu and wanted to know if she could be serviced. She was told that it would be a thirty minute wait. She said that she would go somewhere else and left. When she returned she was told that she could not be accomdated (my sister and I had about 30 additional minutes to go) because he had to finish us and another client with an appointment was coming. The female individual became irate and cursed the owner out. By the way in the negative comments by this individual, it is mentioned that she is African American. Well so are we, and always felt welcomed! The salon is immaculate and the design is serene. I recommend you come and try it out for yourself!
