I will NEVER go back to this salon. After looking for a good salon my sister recommended Beverly Nails. Before heading there yesterday I called to see if they were busy and if they accepted walk ins. I was told that they were not busy and walk ins are always welcomed. 5 minutes later i arrived at this salon and it was swamped. I was told that they could not do one design so i choose another. It seemed to be an inconvenience to them to have walk ins.
As i waiting in the front, my sister walks in (less than 2 minutes later) and they told her it was an hour wait. I asked if they could take my spot since my neice had prom. They said it was no wait for pedicures but there was a wait for a full set. I asked if my niece could get a pedicire while i get a full set since i was not orginally given a wait time. Needless to say, after a hassel they took my neice to the back and placed me at a station.
After a while someone eventually came over with a bowl for me to soak my nails off. I soaked and removed my own nails during the ENTIRE time my neice was getting a pedicure. Many technicians walked by but but no one asked was i ok, If my nails finished soaking, etc. After my niece toes were done we were told that one or the other Could get their full set done so i allowed her to go first.
Remember, when she and my sister first arrived they were given an hour wait time. Well needless to say, during the timespan that would have been an hour many customers walked in , were greeted properly and seated for a full set right away with no wait time while i sat at a station, ignored and unattended to.
Once the tech started nails (3 hrs later), he offer other customers water but didnt bother to ask me. I showed him how i wanted my nails done and he suggest coffin nails over the almond shape. One side was more slanted than the other on most of my nails so i asked him to make sure they were even. He then goes to tell me that it's hard to produce that shape. So why did he offer? I patiently waited on him after getting up multiple times. He filed my nails down on the sides to the point where they are now raw and continues even after being told that he was hurting me. My acrylic isn't evenly distributed and he argued with me about the wait even though i wasn't given any. He (Ben)said that i should have scheduled an apt even though i called to ask if that was a requirement. I arrived at 12:30 and didn't leave until after 4:45.
I walked out with raw fingers that were starting to bleed, lots of cuticles remaing, paint on my hand and the peelings from the acrylic remover. The oil that was placed on my cuticles left a yellow stain on my white nails. I'm so disappointed and very unsatisfied. I will not go back!
I've included in the photos below what i asked for vs what i received. If I could give them 0 stars i would. read more
