On 1/11/2026, 11 days after my initial visit to Adore nails, after my previous review about the issues with my nails, I was getting dressed for church and the nail on my pinky came completely off. This is the 2nd nail to come off in 11 days. I went back to Adore nails to get my nails fixed (please see my previous review where the owner told me they would fix my nails as many times as I needed). The owner Trang Nguyen (Tan) did my nails, he did a wonderful job and I love them. When I was preparing to leave we spoke at the cash register in private. He said that he fixed all my nails, gave me a new set but he would only CHARGE ME $40 for the set, I said I thought you were correcting the mistake, he said I gave you a full set which will last 3 more weeks. He then said I will just charge you $30...this really took me by surprise because: 1. Nina did a horrible job on 1/1/26 2. My nail chopped and the polish turned pink by 1/3/26. I spoke to the owner, Trang Nguyen (Tan), asked if she could redo them, which she did with the same attitude and poor service. 3. A nail came off completely on 1/8/26, during that visit I asked Tiffany if she could redo my nails, which she said she couldn't because they were already old (after only 7 days and 2 mistakes later) 4. After my review, Trang Nguyen (Tan) told me to come in and he would fix my nails as many times as I needed 5. Another nail came completely off on 1/11/26. I went in and was charged. I paid the $30 mainly because I intended to tip him because I liked my nails and service. Then Tan asked me for the 2nd time if I could remove the 1star review. He said the next time just come talk to him and he would fix the problem and the next time they would put me with someone who could do a better job on my nails. Due to the constant nail repairs, poor service, being charged for your employee's mistake, paying $100 on a set of nails without design or anything special, you have forever lost me as a customer and I will not remove this or the other review because others should know about this experience. The only way to fix and remove this review would be to offer a full refund and when a customer comes in the future, take their complaints seriously and fix the issue the first time. read more

My experience with Tony was lousy. He kept touching my hands acting like I didn't keep still, I did kept my hand still. He did this three times. My daughter and were talking and she saw what he did. I thought it was very rude and very unprofessional. I am 63 years old not two.I have other techs that I am able to talk with and they also do a better job. I will never let Tony do my nails ever again. I am totally disappointed and disgusted with how I was treated. read more

Went here for my nails done by Tiffany. My nails started chipping a week later. Went back in to get chipped nail fixed. Nail tech did a poor job they told me to come back they would fix my nails at no cost (screenshot attached) or I never would've NEVER went back at all. Get to end they charge me full price and only give me 10% off instead if I delete my previous review and charge an extra $22 for the "shape" of the nail(screenshot attached). I was nicked and made to bleed during the manicure and they acted like there was something wrong with me for pointing it out. Then I paid $50 for the dip/powder manicure that is supposed to last 3-4 weeks. The nails began to fall off one by one after one week. Needless to say, this was distressing because I was traveling and attending special events for the holidays. When I returned today to show them what happened they (Tan and Tiffany) were very rude, again did not apologize, and acted like there was something wrong with me for bothering them about this issue. I've been coming here for a couple years now and I always really like it! I don't get my nails done often but they always do a god job when I do. I had a nail break a couple days after getting them done (my fault, not theirs) and they fixed it no charge. I get a full set with tips and I always love the outcome! read more

Sury did my pedicure and full set today. This was one of the best pedicures that I ever had. She was so good! The massage was perfect, and she took her time but didn't linger. This was my 3rd time seeing Tan. I have to keep my nails short. Tan has done an amazing job on my nails every time. They are short but elegant. I'm disappointed in this place. I've tried it a few times and it's just so so. The first few times when they just opened was nice. Now it's very mediocre at best. This last time I was in for a pedi/mani. I was really excited for the pedicure because I haven't gotten one in months. My biggest complaint is they had a new lady doing pedicures. She wasn't very good at it and she was holding all of the tools the wrong way. I knew something was up when the nail clippers came out and she was holding it upside down. I should have made her stop right then and there. She ended up cutting a huge portion of my nails but before she could clip it off. I had to stop her and take the clippers and trim the nail myself. What was really disturbing is I tried to explain it to the other lady and she said that she can glue the nail back so it can heal and shouldn't be a problem. Well we are one week in and we have a problem. I basically realize that the nail never healed and that it snags on my socks. I basically have a hairline crack now and have to decide if I should just cut it off and have a huge piece of my toenail missing or go back there to get it fixed. I'm not sure I trust my nails with them anymore. So sad... could be a really great place but there something lacking about this place. I am positive I won't be visiting this salon again. read more

So I'd been in town about 2 weeks and my sister gave me a gift certificate to Adore Nails. Of course being new in town I needed to find a place to get a little pampering done. The salon is bright and airy and very clean. Anna was the girl who helped me and she was probably the sweetest thing ever. After two weeks of moving and walking around in flip flops my toes needed a definite bit of pampering. She was personable and professional and made sure I felt all sorts of relaxed. I went in and asked for just a pedicure and normally when you do that they say pick out your color they start your water and you're sitting in the chair. This place was overwhelmingly disappointing. A friend and I went to get full sets. When we walked in one of the employees was getting her hair straightened by another employee at the nail counter. The one getting her hair done begun to do my nails and was very messy. One even broke before she got the powder on. When I told her I wanted coffin she completely gave up! I had to wait for my friend to finish getting her whole set done so that her tech, the very sweet owner, could do mine. The shape she gave me was still horribly looking closer to Almond than Coffin and there is visible glue all around the nails! Both accent nails broke shortly after, at which point I took my business to Nails Art where they did a phenomenal job with shape and quality. New to the area so trying to find the right fit. This is not it. The gentleman was very nice and I really liked him. The issue is he feels a base coat is not needed when you have your nails dipped. I am so impressed with the professional service that I received today from Angel. I am from Washington DC and came to vacation at Wrightsville beach. I arrived at the salon right before closing and she still allowed me in. She took her time and did an excellent, detailed job on my mani-pedi and brow waxing services. I love this place. I got a fill in with two nail replacements and gel polish plus a pedicure with gel (first time). I loved the environment and everyone , especially Trang, was great. Had a great 1st experience. Took my daughter for a fill in and her friend got a manicure. Very courteous, greeted by owner the moment we walked in. We were all very satisfied with our beautiful nails when they were finished. Will be going back next weekend to try the pedicure services. I dropped in for a pedicure the last hour before closing on a Sunday and they were very polite and got me right in. I actually had driven around a bit and other places were very packed with customers waiting and I was apprehensive of procedures and sanitation because I used to be a Licensed Manicurist. Adore Nails turned out to be close to my studio which worked out better for me and there was hardly any wait. I saw their Grade A on the wall as soon as I arrived.
