Results can take 24 hours. I really need to get back on dry brushing and rebounding. Till next time!

Need a great masseur in Austin???…read more Well I have to say I have found one of the best! I had actually been turned off to massage over the last few years and Elizabeth Meador a licensed Massage Therapist here in Austin has changed all that for me. I have frequent pain in my neck and back and let's face it for those of us who live on a computer 8-10 hours a day 6 days a week who doesn't experience some type of chronic neck or back pain from being hunched over a monitor all day? So suffice it to say I really am so impressed when her technique, soothing personality, and tranquil environment... so much so, that I have already set my next appointment for the beginning of December! She is truly gifted... Elizabeth does integrative massage, deep tissue massage, prenatal / post-partum massage, and craniosacral therapy which is (& I am totally stealing this verbiage from her website) an amazing tool for helping the body release stuck energy in a very non-invasive way. Using cues from the cranio-sacral rhythm (the flow of cerebro-spinal fluid from the brain through the spinal cord), we can tap into areas of restriction. A session will include 10-steps for helping the body release the restrictions in the craniosacral system, namely the skull, spinal cord and meninges of the brain and spinal cord. By releasing these areas, we can experience release of deeply held tension, pain and anxiety. Email her to setup an appointment: elizabeth@meadormassage.com

I was referred to this location after I had smart lipo on my arms last December by my plastic…read moresurgeon's nurse. A general recommendation is to have three to five massage treatments after a lipo procedure such as the one I had, but some may experience benefits from as few as one to two treatments. I ultimately decided to do this massage because in general, our bodies will struggle in getting rid of toxins which will inevitably affect our immune systems and overall well-being. In addition, often those who had surgery will end up with excessive lymph liquids after which will result in swelling and bruising. After I made the appointment over the phone, I was required to complete my medical and other new client documents prior to the appointment. When I came in, I was greeted promptly and given an orientation of what the location offers and was asked various questions to include, what my expected outcome was after the massage. During lymphatic massage, Alex, a qualified massage therapist gently manipulated my skin and underlying tissues in the areas of lymph production to increase circulation and promote drainage and healing. The massage itself was gentle, light, relaxing and comfortable. There was a reduction in discomfort and swelling immediately after the massage. After the massage, I purchased a monthly massage membership so I could get massages at a discounted rate (regular rate is $160 per session without membership, one massage with membership is $125 per month). #bewellcentraltx

So overwhelming with hospitality. What a beautiful feeling. I sat down in a private room with another lady who spoke to me about the lymphatic massage and what to expect. She asked about my concerns and we chatted about other things as well. Just an out pour of caring and holistic healing and health. Phoebe was the one that did my massage for I believe 75 minutes. Gentle touch and a warm table, I was so comfortable and relaxed, and just enjoying being in the moment. Phoebe massaged my face, and worked on my arms, my legs and my tummy. Amazing experience and again, just a nice soothing gentle touch. When my massage was over. Of course I felt so relaxed and happy, and motivated and inspired. I was offered an infarred light for 15 minutes. This was just an added extra to the massage. After my massage. I had a cup of turmeric tea with honey. It was very nice to sip that and enjoy being in the moment. When I was ready to leave, I was given instructions, drinks lots of water. Stay away from alcohol. That's it, easy enough. I was also given a goodie bag with a dry brush. I promised I would use this dry brush every morning. I won't let you down Phoebe, I promise!! If you think in a holistic manner, if you've been researching lymphatic massage and the wonderful benefits, make this office your first experience. I can't imagine being treated better than how I was treated here today. Wonderful staff, everyone I spoke to. 10 stars from walking in the door to walking out. Amazing.
