II needed some cold water and this young server name Andrea was very gracious to give me a couple cups of cold water and let me plug my phone in at the bar and cool off in the nice air conditioning I am definitely definitely returning!! probably next week, when I get paid and I will sit the bar and order me some beer!!! Was staying local on vacation and looking for a decent Happy Hour, so decided to visit. For Happy Hour you must seat in the back bar area, it was packed, expected good food and drinks .. The bartender was very polite and not pushy, very relaxed yet attentive. Ordered sushi and a few drinks. For sushi I ordered Spicy Tuna, Spicy Crab, and California rolls. The sushi was very good. I think they messed up and brought out the non-spicy rolls ... but, the flavor was there! Overall, I would consider returning. I have eaten at the 21St SoHo many times. It was always great. We were in the area of this SoHo so figured we would give it a try. They seated us at a table that was visibly dirty. Ask one of the staff if they could clean it. She did with a look on her face like it was too much trouble. She did such a poor job that my wife had wet wipes in her purse and we cleaned ourselves. I also kicked the dirty napkin under the table to the area under our bench. Food was ok but not as good as the other soho. Our server Dane was excellent so that was a high point. They need to tell the staff to smile once in a while. They walked around like it was a big chore working there. It was a big turn off. I work for a vacation condominium and I am constantly asked where to eat. I will not recommend this one. Please do better. read more

Went here for late night dinner while in Myrtle Beach, it was one of the very very Few spots still open late past 10 pm. The restaurant inside wasn't crowded at all but the outside seating area was full. All dinner options come with either miso soup or a salad. I started with a house salad (8/10, was just okay I would've preferred a caeser salad, but didn't know it was an option) then had the lobster tempura roll (10/10) and the bang bang chicken and shrimp with fried rice and vegetables (10/10, a really big dinner portion)!! I also shared the Hana white peach sake with my sister (8/10, strong but the flavor wasn't very good like I hoped). My total for everything was about $50. I would definitely eat here again, the sushi was very good. My overall rate of experience : 9.5/10 read more

I left a review four years ago and vowed I would never go back. However, on Valentine's Day, we couldn't find a table open at about three other restaurants nearby so we decided to give it a shot again. Big mistake. It's even worse than four years ago. Sat at the bar in the back with cheesy music playing, the tuna Tataki was stale. I've never had it that bad. The seaweed salad seemed like it was two weeks old and the sushi was terrible. This is a junk restaurant. Never again. It's my fault for giving them another shot, I should've gone through the drive-through at Burger King instead. My boyfriend has been to a different location before and said the food is so good so we decided to take our kids here to eat for dinner because I was so hungry. Our waitress was so nice, and very accommodating for a table full of kids. I definitely commend her on her patience even though our kids were very well behaved. (Just so many orders to get through lol). The restaurant itself has like a chill vibe, nothing fancy but can be. I really liked the atmosphere. The menu has SO many options, it was hard for me to choose. I ended up getting shrimp tempura and super crunchy roll. The tempura shrimp was so good, had a nice crunch, shrimp was cooked perfectly. The sweet potato was not cooked all the way through so it was hard but the flavor was still good with the sweet soy sauce. The roll had salmon, shrimp and crab (all my favorites) and was deep fried with bang bang sauce. It was tangy from the sauce, and had a nice crunch from being deep fried. It wasn't fishy at all, and had great flavor. I'd definitely get it again. My daughter had Thai chicken strips (no sauce) with French fries and she said the chicken was good, really good seasoning and crunch throughout and the fries were so good. They tasted fresh, not too hard and perfect salt ratio to the fry. My other babies got ramen which they said the broth was amazing. They described it as flavorful with all the vegetables and very earthy. My bf got so many appetizers vs one big meal and I'm glad he did because the food did not disappoint. The yakitori was amazing. The filet mignon one was so juicy and tender and I loved whatever sauce they marinated it in. The chicken one was okay, it tasted a little overcooked because the chicken was so tough. He ordered fried calamari as well. The breading was good, it was thin layer and the calamari was cut thing but wide so they were pretty big pieces. It was cooked well so not so chewy and paired well with the marinara sauce. We also got salmon bonsai special which was salmon baked with tamago, crab meat and shrimp and omg it was my fav thing of the night. It was mixed in spicy mayo, so it was spicy, fresh, the salmon was cooked perfectly so it melts in your mouth. We had some white peach sake to go with our meal and it is served cold but still really good. It is sweet and you can definitely taste the peach. I gave it a 9/10 and I will definitely go back whenever I'm in Myrtle. read more

Absolutely the worse personnel. Walked in with a party of 8 at 7 pm. The sign said to wait to be seated. The " greeter" was on the phone taking a delivery and was too busy to turn around and even acknowledge that we were standing there. Literally after ten minutes I asked if she could just seat us and she turned around and very rudely said can't you see I'm talking in the phone. We are here with thousands of other families and their kids for a giant softball tournament and we come every year. We stay a whole week we spend cash at all of the local establishments and I can assure you that our party of eight or any of our friends acquaintance or anybody that we ever run into that comes down here will never visit this restaurant due to their rudeness. read more

We stopped in on a Saturday night while visiting Myrtle Beach. Service was very friendly and the restaurant had a cool vibe; however, the quality of the food was not good. The chicken meat was low quality and the veggies in the hibachi were from frozen, not fresh. The orange chicken also seemed heavily processed and mostly just breading. I've now been here 3 times. Last August 2023, took family from out of town, sat outside and had a great meal. Food, service and ambiance by the ICW was perfect. Went back this May for Mother's Day. Hardly anyone there and the deck was closed even though the weather was perfect. We asked why the deck wasn't open and our server said it was due to staffing. But we saw staff just standing around. Service was ok but the food was a mixed bag. Then, I went back in June for a birthday dinner. Again, place was empty. The server was very friendly and attentive but forgetful. Deck was closed and the server had no idea why. Food was mediocre again. I'm wondering if the opening of a sister location in NMB has stretched their resources. Anyway, I can't recommend this establishment at all. read more

I travel with a large service dog who is required to monitor my health condition. My dog flies with me and has been to every caliber of restaurant all over the world. Apparently he is good enough to monitor my health at Nobu in every city, but not SoHo in Myrtle Beach. We walked into SoHo at 11:30am on a Wednesday so there were almost no customers in the restaurant yet. The man at the door immediately told me they don't allow dogs "not even service dogs". He then agreed to sit us outside and walked us back to outdoor bar and said we couldn't sit there but on the uncovered back patio outside of it with plastic tables and no shade. When he continued to tell me they don't allow service dogs inside he said "well we allow small service dogs, but not big ones". I told him that it isn't legal and that my dog is required to be larger than me for the service he provides, he would not budge so we agreed to leave. I often hear "you don't look like you need a service dog" which is infuriating, but this treatment is unacceptable. Luckily we found a much better place down the street who isn't too good for my life saving medical animal who also told us that Soho has rats. read more

Hate there are some bad reviews but this place is pretty solid. The food is fresh and we never had a bad food experience. Sometimes the food comes out fast and sometimes it's been slow... but we've never had to wait to be seated. I only got a picture of the sushi roll I ordered. It was delicious!! Other Items I've tried: spring rolls, cheesesteak rolls, hibachi chicken, pepper steak, sesame chicken, grilled salmon, lo Mein, fried rice. All have been good and fresh. Always has leftovers as well as portions are big. The resultant itself is nice and by the looks of others, their cocktails look good too. We are able to hear the live music going from Across the street and got to be in the action in the busy street. My fiancé was so excited to get to try some seafood, he went with the crab legs and he was very happy with that decision. He also tried two different manhattans while I had the crem brûlée martini, all very good! Then for our food we got the Teriyaki skewers (app filet style) and they were amazing! I had to try the French onion soup and it was nice and cheesey like I love but a little too salty for me. Our meals were great! I had the soho chicken and did not regret that decision! Maybe one of the better meals I've had in some time. Everything from the sushi to the Spicy Pad Thai to the desert was great. The food all seemed super fresh and the presentation was great. We have been to this Soho location numerous times after performing at work. Usually coming in around 9:30/10 every time and almost always being seated within five minutes. The layout is nicely planned out with indoor and outdoor patio service. There is a bar located inside and a smaller one outside. Sitting next to the sushi counter is great when wanting fresh rolls delivered quickly. Every entree and appetizer we've had always satisfies us. I especially love the skewer offering, tnt roll, and the cheeseburger egg rolls as well. The French onion soup is good and the bar service never runs behind. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and ready to fix any order issues in a jiffy. Love coming to this location it never disappoints. read more

i really wanted to like this and their happy hour prices make you want to like them but the service was dismal and the flavors were bland. i sat at the bar and still had to ask to get water and it took over an hour for ramen, sushi and miso soup. the miso soup was more flavorful than the ramen and i wish they just used the miso soup as a ramen base. after waiting for service and being there almost an hour, the ramen was served too hot to eat and i had to take it to go. their happy hour prices do make it more reasonable but don't bring high expectations read more

How have we missed this place! My hubs and I ate here last night. The food was fantastic! We had the shrimp tempura appetizer, seafood platter and two different sushi rolls. Best seafood platter! Everything was so hot and the fried fish was crispy, not soggy like some places. My hubs got a "Bulliet's new fashion", their version of an old fashion drink . Best he's ever had! We thought we were done until our outstanding server showed us the dessert tray. We tried the cream brûlée cheesecake (to die for) and tiramisu (best we've ever eaten). While we were eating there was a young lady performing outside by the bar near where we were eating. She was outstanding! All in all a truly great experience! HORRIBLE! First, the automatic 20% gratuity should be applied as a credit on the bill to make up for the poor customer service the wait staff offers. We were seated, and then waited as our waiter passed 3 times before having to flag him down to serve us. He asked if anyone had been over to us, as if there were several other waiters. Well, there weren't. So it seemed senseless to ask if anyone had been over to our table when he was the only waiter working. Second, "Fried Rice" is not Chinese Fried Rice...so I found out after ordering. I was a brought a mound of rice that had miso flavoring. I asked where the egg and small veggies were..I was told that I had to order "Chinese Fried Rice". Huh?! How do you order fried rice in an establishment that sells sushi and other Asian dishes and have to specify that you want Chinese fried rice?? Do yourself a favor and pass on this place. read more

I came in with my sister to get a quick dinner on a Thursday night, but I was pretty disappointed with my experience, and I probably won't be coming back. Upon arrival, we were told we would have to wait 45 minutes for a table, but somehow we were seated at a table within 5 minutes of waiting (Not complaining). Our server was friendly, but the entire restaurant staff seemed extremely unorganized and chaotic. As an entree, my sister ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp. She ordered the entree along with fresh vegetables and fried rice, but the servers brought the wrong order to the table, which consisted of ONLY shrimp without vegetables or fried rice. I ordered the Chicken and Shrimp hibachi, which was extraordinarily underwhelming and unflavorful. The chicken and shrimp were drowned in teriyaki sauce, and the fried rice and vegetables were both cold. Don't even get me started on the yum yum sauce... Amazing view, fantastic wait staff and Mya and Desiree / bartenders are awesome. Brandy, the manager is a sweetheart and allowed us to pick the best spot for the view. Amazing customer service. Attentive and kept the drinks flowing. Go for happy hour 4 to 7 great apps and drink specials. We had bang bang shrimp, chicken skewers on the HH menu then flavorful and cheesy French onion soup with a great caterpillar roll. Try the Philly cheesesteak rolls- probably not a bad menu choice. .
