High hopes -dashed Poor service and mediocre food. Lots of potential just not there yet. read more

The service was very good but the food was only so so. The stuffed calamari was very rubbery. The monkfish dinner special was very salty. Someone is not tasting the food before it leaves the kitchen. The lemon sorbet was wonderfully tart. The dining room is a bit noisy and could use more soft surfaces. read more

we had another wonderful evening at Sogno. Craig at the bar greeted us warmly and makes the best drink. we had Fadeal as our server once again he treats us like family and was right there when we need something. Annabella ended our night at the bar with a smile even though it was closing time. Ron you have and excellent staff until next time!!! read more

Went on a Saturday night 7 pm, we had reservations for a high top but there was seats available at the bar so we decided to sit there. Food was great service could have been better. Took them a while to acknowledge us and as us for a drink I know it was a Saturday night it was busy but not packed plenty of seats at the bar not sure about the restaurant itself, I think there were 3 maybe 4 bartenders on. That was the service we got the whole night slow and ignored. But I would give them another chance maybe it was an off night for them. We started off with the Tuna Carpaccio delish, then the pasta with rabbit and the veal voldesdano finished off with a lemon mascarpone dessert. read more

Have been here once before and the food was amazing, no complaints whatsoever, but my last visit was horrible; the food was nowhere near as good as it was and the service was horrible. Honestly would have to say that this place has become worse than Panera read more

We sat at the bar and ordered two bourbon manhattans which were barely a measured pour for $20 a drink, ridiculous! We thought we've give the food a try with the arancini appetizer. Overcooked and bland. If you're looking for authentic italian, check out Tremonte or Sam's Kitchen which are both in Woburn. read more

Amazing atmosphere and delightful staff! I loved the food, wine selection and wait times. Didn't feel pressured at all. Also the new location has plenty of parking. I would try this place again for sure. read more

What an amazing new restaurant!!!! Incredible beyond words at how authentic, warm and welcoming the atmosphere is! We were lucky enough to visit Sogno recently and it is truly an Italian Dream. We tried the veal cutlet and the artichoke pizza which was so delicious! The expresso martinis were the best that I've had anywhere!!! Enjoy! You won't be disappointed! read more

Went Sunday. This is my second time here. Really enjoyed the food. My wife especially enjoyed the Cesar salad. IT's so different from other places but it was delicious. We had the same server Alexis. She was wonderful. Somebody walked by with a pizza and it looked great. I need to try that. read more

The food was great and our server was amazing! The only thing that really threw me was that the manager / owner or whoever was in charge. Went to every single table around us checking in and asking how things were. Not once came to us asking how we were or even saying hi. Super rude! It makes us feel like we weren't special compared to other guests. Maybe they looked better or got more pricier items? Either way; I'm all set with returning to a place that is "judgey" in that type of way. We also did spend good money so that was in my mind pretty insulting. Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 1/5 read more

This a brand new place so completely understand they are tweaking stuff. Hopefully can offer some constructive criticism! And there is definitely 5 star potential. Service was very attentive and big efforts were made to be welcoming and accommodate which was much appreciated. The place is nice looking and it is obvious much work and money went into design. Started with appetizers..tuna carpaccio: this was good, very savory with olives and capers. Also had chicken liver mousse bruschetta: this was a bit disappointing...the flavor was ok but the bread was cold, not toasted so was kind of soggy with the mousse going into it...possibly having it toasted or the mousse on the side would be better. Had the Carciofo pizza with artichoke, arugula-this was good and well made. My friend ordered the veal cutlet and thought it was pretty good-just had an odd coloring with the prosciutto and cheese on top. The cocktails were great! The Pompelmo with grapefruit, Campari and tequila was refreshing and smooth. Bartenders were friendly and everything was promptly served. The ricotta torta was a good dessert. Will definitely be back! read more

Although this place is new, by the lively crowd you'd think it's been open for years. The bar is really big and was packed when we got there at 6:30 on a Saturday night. The restaurant is really big and they have a ton of staff which is great in this market. We had the cod dish with risotto and shrimp. Plainly said - it was simply delicious. Light with tons of flavor. We also had the margarita pizza to share as an appy. Cocktails are reasonably priced. Only suggestion is maybe adding a Barolo or Barbareaco to the by the glass list. The decor is modern with a old world influence. Amazing wine room on display when you walk in. The owner walks the floor and is very gracious and kind. We will be back! read more

Came here for lunch on a Sunday. The vibe of the place was great with a very chill old school soundtrack and classy red leather decor. The service was also fantastic here, some of the best I've had in the area. The food here is very good as well, but did not blow me away, so I deducted one star. read more

A traditional Italian experience that we haven't had in a while. Next time, we are definitely trying the pizza and having dessert. Nice attention to detail and service. It was great to see the owner on the floor keeping his eye on everything. I hope they expand the cocktail menu. :) read more

All you need to know is for some reason, this place has decided it's morally okay to charge $55 for a small, exceedingly mediocre pasta dish that had a tiny, laughable amount of forgettable seafood in it (a couple of the world's smallest shrimp and some scallops). It was said to have calamari...but alas, it did not. This dish is normally $20-$25 cheaper in most places, and much better. Even the simple brick oven pizza we shared (the "safe bet" choice) was lame and soggy-crusted. The salads were fine enough...the true "safe bet!" Stick to salads and pizza if you do have to eat here. read more

IMy second time to go there with my family. First my birthday last January, then Easter Sunday dinner both awesome.

I have had the pleasure of dining at Sogno several times, and have been so enamored by the outstanding food, service and overall vibe of the place that I decided to host a holiday gathering there for 50 employees last night. I knew how fabulous my experience had been for smaller parties, but I was utterly blown away by the effortless and amazing event they facilitated for my much larger group. Every detail was managed with absolute grace and style, and I have heard nothing but the highest praise from those in attendance! If you have not yet visited this new gem on the restaurant scene, I urge you to do so immediately. And if you're looking for a location for a special event or celebration that will amaze and delight your family/friends/employees, look no further. A big thanks to Mr. Martignetti and his incredible team of first-class chefs and professional servers for making our experience so incredibly satisfying and memorable. We love you guys - thanks for making dreams come true! read more

I have dined here a few times in the past. Service is always great. Had the same waitress Alexis. She really knows her stuff. Tried the pizza this time. Not a fan. Soggy and limp. Maybe some people love it like that but i do not. Our man dishes were very good as usual. Started off at the bar. it wasn't busy but drinks took a long time. I will go back put skipping the pizza. read more

My wife and I are out all the time looking for the best places to eat, and found a true gem here. I don't know what's going on in that kitchen, but the brunch was out of this world. The frittata and french toast were unreal. The subtle ingredients that made each dish were clearly no mistake. We've been all over and found nothing like this anywhere. Such a great ambiance, so comfortable, great cocktails, the manager was walking around greeting everyone. Our daughter (3) usually doesn't last more than an hour before getting bored and I think we were there over 2 just quietly enjoying our time there. Looking forward to enjoying our dinner there next week! read more

Fantastic! Food, drinks are wonderful. Alexis is the best server, she was really helpful and kind, she made our time even more wonderful

Third time here. Got the Surf and turf special. Pricey but very good. Service was great from Alexis and another gentleman. We will be going back. The place is beautiful but very loud. Hard to hear. Maybe it was just where I was seated. read more

Went Saturday night. First time here. The place was super busy. It was very hard to hear but besides that the food, atmosphere and the service was wonderful. I got a scallop and steak combo . It was cooked to perfection. Met the owner. The whole staff was great. I think my servers name was Alexa or Alexis. I just wish I had room for desert. read more

Small portions but excellent food. Service was very good. Extensive wine list. Will go again.

I hosted the most incredible Holiday lunch at Sogno for our staff this past week... EVERYTHING was gold standard. From the catering manager, to our servers, to the atmosphere and the food! We love this restaurant. Every time we go the food, drinks, and service are great. Highly recommend.

Disappointing would be the best way to describe this place. Wife saw an ad for this place and asked to go. Noticed the prices were on the upper end so assumed we were in for some great Italian food. We drove down from NH on a Saturday night. Really nice place, clean and very upscale in terms of decor. Clearly an experienced service staff, got it all right there. Here's where it goes downhill. The food. The wine list is impressive for sure. Lots of choices and price points. The Italian table bread was good and the olive oil tasted fresh and of good quality. The Fritto Misto was decent, though it lacked seafood. Would have been amazing with some fresh fried medium sized shrimp (instead of the small shrimp) and more calamari added. So simple to go from blah to amazing. Too many fried veggies that soaked up the oil. Wife ordered the pork chop and I ordered the branzino. Both dishes were super underwhelming. Basically a breaded and fried pork chop on a plate with a little sprinkle of greens on top and the fish pretty much the same but add some roasted potatoes. The fish lacked seasoning, character, flavor you name it. It was also overcooked and dry. Wife took two bites of her pork chop. Again simple to go from blah to great - add a mediterranean sauce to the fish and cook it a bit less -just till it gets flakey. Add something besides the potatoes to add some texture and complexity. For the Pork chop add a nice lemon cream sauce or some marina and you got something. I get the concept of simple ingredients and authentic dishes but sometimes a place can lean too far into the simple space ultimately leaving a diner wondering, why not take it a bit further to elevate the dish to your menu price. Waiter gave us a gift certificate to come back. Maybe we will give it another shot and sample some of the pasta dishes. read more

Pizza is great and the frito misto appetizer is terrific. I got the swordfish special that was cooked perfect. Alexis is an amazing waitress. She is extremely personable and she enhances the experience! read more

I was very impressed with the bartender, Deb. I recently dined at Sogno and had a few Drunk Cannoli's. I was happy with my experience especially at the bar with her warm friendly outgoing personality. The attentive and knowledgeable woman Deb ensured that our meal would be delicious and I will be back only if I have the bartender Deb. I can't recommend Sogno enough for a fantastic dining experience read more

I came in for my first time last night to dine. The food was outstanding and the service Alexis gave us top-notch. I'll definitely be back.

Loud, slow, expensive, and bland. Need I say more? Nothing outrageously bad, except for our server ignoring us for long periods of time, but nothing to rave about either. Will not be back. read more

Our server was top notch. She was very attentive to our table to ensure we were pleased with everything we ordered. The food was delicious. Looking forward to our next visit. read more

Nice atmorsphere. Food was very good. Would come here again and recommend. Convenient location and parking.

I went to the opening night with my son and my girlfriend. It was such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Everyone was incredibly friendly. Our server Amanda was very kind and knowledgeable. She also timed our courses perfectly so nothing came out too fast. We had a delicious meal starting with the fried calamari. Afterwards we split the Sogno Cesare salad. Then for my meal I had the ribeye which was cooked perfectly to a medium-rare and it was topped with a bone marrow butter. My girlfriend then got the Burrata Ravioli with a parmesan truffle crema, and roasted mushrooms. It was superb. The cream sauce just right not too heavy and not too light. Finally, for dessert we had the Affogato which was gelato with a side of some of the best espresso to pour over it. The presentation was beautiful and it tasted even better. We then capped the night off with an Espresso Martini which was just the right amount of sweetness and my girlfriend had a delicious Cappuccino. When you go you will most likely meet Ronnie, Joe and John Paul who are the nicest and most welcoming people you will meet. During our meal some of our family and friends that were there unexpectedly came over to our table to talk to us and our server Amanda navigated them perfectly. I highly recommend you check out this lovely Italian restaurant you will not be disappointed! read more

Food was amazing! Service was fabulous with women bartender. Male bartender took over and was unfriendly. We ask if there was a special - he said no. Customer next to me ordered the special! Way to ruin a great restaurant experience! Ambiance is fabulous. read more

Mr. Martignetti has outdone himself in this ultra-posh, ultra fine dining establishment called Sogno. It truly is a dream!(translated Sogno) From the moment you walk in, you are transformed to Italy, where the decor, the food, and the wine is so authentically Italian . And we are not talking AMERICAN ITALIAN, folks. This is the Italians Italian Go TO where there is quality and authentic fare from the get go. The menu has enough variation to please everyone. The house Cabernet was one of the finest ones I have had the pIeasure of sipping, light and perfectly balanced. For appetizer Iordered the Polpette (meatballs made with Pork, Mortadella and Proscuitto which is a rare combination and was excellent. I would skip the Casear salad next time, would have liked a tad more garlic )and the Main course was the Porchetta. A very rare dish to see on a menu, it was a slow cooked pork(not a chop at all) in a sugo(tomatoeish sauce)over a bed of the most delicious polenta i have ever tasted and also served with a sauteed kale with garlic (i think) I was truly impressed with every carefully thought out detail and the customer service was superb. The food from start to finish-delicioso!!!! Kudos to the Chef, the owner and all the wonderful staff that make it a top notch choice for the discerning diner. Can't wait to go back! read more

Best Italian food outside of the North End of Boston. The menus is filled with all of our Italian favorites. Every meal is made to order and served piping hot. The service is "professional" in every way. My wife and I have been to So go 6 times in the past month! read more

First time dining in Sogno. First of all the hostess was rude and offered the most uncomfortable table right next to other people although the whole row was empty. We decided to relocate at the bar and ordered a few drinks and food. The drinks were okay but the food was horrible. We ordered a veal cutlet with mushroom risotto. The veal was very old and tasted like rubber and risotto was not cooked well either. Very disappointing and not sure will come back again . read more
