Inside the restaurant, there are plenty of seating and there is also outdoor seating. I ordered the Gyros Plate for takeout which came to $28. Evan was kind enough to provide an extra tzatziki sauce and utensils when I asked. One thing I found surprising was the 3.89% credit card fee so bringing cash would be a better option. The portion of the gyro meat was generous, but the pita bread and the rice portions felt a bit small by comparison. The gyro meat itself was very salty which lead me to reach for water throughout my meal. The rice pilaf was flavorful and ended up being my favorite part of the plate. Unfortunately, the Greek salad was dressed with too much vinaigrette making it soggy and slightly unpleasant to eat. The olives tasted old and had a bad aftertaste. The tzatziki sauce is also very watery. For the price of the meal and my experience, it didn't meet my expectations. The food quality felt short and I don't plan on returning. This will be my first and likely my last visit.

We saw that this restaurant had 4.5 stars, and took the whole family there for dinner. We were all confused as we sat there and ate and how any customer could give this restaurant above two stars. No, it's not terrible, or the worst food you've ever eaten. But it's also not a 4 1/2 star experience. Most of our food was room temperature, and there was just nothing fresh on the plate . Most of it was over cooked or reheated . Again, this is a terrible... But it's not something you'd ever go back for. This restaurant serves what must have been the finest Mediterranean food within ages. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I am eagerly looking forward to my next visit and will recommend all my friends visiting Ramona to come here. I stopped by Sophie's Pita in Ramona today and had a gyro which was absolutely amazing! The meat was perfectly seasoned, the pita was soft and warm, and the tzatziki sauce brought it all together. You can really taste the freshness in every bite. With limited dining choices in Ramona, this place is a great find. Highly recommend if you're craving something flavorful and satisfying. A little pricey for the quality I got. I don't know if I caught them near closing and just got what was left over??? But I ordered a Gyro w/fries for pick up and both were cold, and I didn't drive this stuff home, I ate it in my car in the parking lot. Does anybody like stale room temp french fries? Many of the menu items are prepared with soybean oil, which was disappointing given the otherwise high-quality and health-conscious image of the restaurant. Soybean oil is highly processed and contains large amounts of omega-6 polyunsaturated fats. While omega-6 fats are essential in moderation, excessive consumption relative to omega-3 intake has been associated with increased inflammation in some research. Soybean oil is also more susceptible to oxidation when exposed to high cooking temperatures, potentially producing compounds that some studies suggest may contribute to oxidative stress. If you work in a small local restaurant, treating customers with contempt is not confidence. It is simply bad service and terrible business sense. Get an education. Maybe take a class or two in customer service and business ethics before bringing a sorry attitude to the very customers who keep the doors of your business open in this economy. And here is a lesson worth remembering: never underestimate a customer. The person ordering a $20 lunch could very well be the person who leaves a $200 tip when treated exceptionally well. You have no idea who is sitting in front of you or how many other customers they may send your way. A customer should never have to compete for basic courtesy. Lose the arrogance. Learn some manners. Learn what hospitality actually means. Treat people poorly and they will simply take their money elsewhere. That is exactly what I did, and I would not return.
