The establishment is fantastic and they found a way to make it cozy as big as it is. Our server was fantastic and knew the entire beer list and when asked what she recommended, she gave us a great idea on what to order drink and food wise. We sat upstairs above the front door and had a great view of the entire establishment. The bar tenders are surgical while making cocktails and talking to customers. We ordered the Brussel sprouts and truffle fries for appetizers and both were amazing. I ordered the mussels appetizer which was large enough to be a meal as my main. It was cooked perfectly and the wine butter sauce had a nice heat to it. My wife ordered a burger which was honestly too big to eat in one sitting. Cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. We were both a little under the weather so we didn't drink but the cocktail menu looks amazing and the table next to us raved about the drinks when I asked them. I can't wait to go back. Little tip, during the Christmas season make a reservation.

Chorizo clams

Now I get the hype! First timer, but definitely not our last. The food is exceptional - the drinks perfection all with good service. We started with the Chorizo Clams which were amazing. I had the KingPin burger which sounds busy but it's a flavor melody in your mouth! I swapped the fries for a panzenella salad - let me just say, salad shouldn't taste that damn good! I was driving so I opted for the local brew cup of coffee with dinner and as a true coffee snob I will say it impressed as much as the salad - it's so good I drank it black and had a second cup! That alone sold me that I have to go back for brunch.

Love that they took an old bank from the early 1900's. Preserved a lot of the original details of the building and maintained architectural integrity. The vault is open and decorated with barrels. It's a very hipster vibe bar. Need reservations on the weekend. Bar gets packed. Very trendy and patrons of all ages. Young groups and older couples. Really good mix of clientele. Little store to sell their stuff here too The staff are all friendly and attentive. They work really well together and make everything run smoothly. Drinks: Search for Figfoot - strong vermouth flavor. Good and not too sweet Are we there yeti? - like a lemon whiskey sour. Very strong lemon zest flavor. Mint to be blue- very good. Strong pepper flavor but not too spicy. Pairs well with the sweet. Food: -Harvest salad with shrimp- very good. Flavors pair well together. Just a bit dry, ask for extra dressing on the side if you order it -King Pin burger- good charred flavor. Basic burger. Hand cut fries are really good.

Apricot BBQ Ribs w/ Mom's Cucumber Salad & Grandma's Potato Salad

Social Still is a distillery and kitchen in Southside Bethlehem. They are open Tue - Thu 12:00PM - 10:00PM, Fri - Sat 12:00PM - 11:00PM, and Sun 11:00AM - 4:00PM. This place makes excellent cocktails, but I came for the food. The menu is seasonal so there are always new items to try. I started with the Mussels & Frites. It's made with sausage, garlic, shallot, absinthe, herbs, and hand cut fries. The mussels were fresh and the broth had a great flavor. The fries were soggy, but for this dish I didn't mind. For my entree I ordered the Thursday Special; 1/2 rack of apricot bbq ribs with cucumber salad and potato salad. The sides were enjoyable but the ribs were awful. Perfectly cooked ribs need a gentle tug to remove the meat. These required a pry bar. I usually never complain, but when we did our server was more defensive than apologetic. Luckily, management made it right. Our meals were comped and we were given a gift card to come back. Housemade sour cream and onion chips and queso

My wife and I have visited Social Still on multiple occasions and we always have positive experiences. We have come here for date night, with small groups, and with a big group. I have bought their bottles for Christmas gifts. They have a rotating menu that changes every few months. On this particular visit, we came for her birthday. We had a reservation since it was during the first day of Musikfest and there was a sold out concert across the street. The waitress was spot on with her recommendations from drinks to entrees. We had the chips and dip for an appetizer. I'm not one for appetizers usually but the sour cream and onion chips were house made and they're my favorite. My wife had the Big Bad Wolf (three types of pork) and I had the burger. We got dessert and coffee as well. She ordered the peach cobbler, which donated part of the price to one of the cook's ongoing cancer treatments, and I had the carrot cake. We took home leftovers and everything was fantastic as usual. Highly recommend!

Secret Garden (Left: favorite, so smooth and delicious) Raspberry Mango Margarita(Right: wife's she ordered it spicy, highly recommend)

Went to a show at Wind Creek Casino and wanted to grab a bite before, so I searched the area for a nice spot. I think I found the BEST one! It's such a cool vibe, a neat building (old bank), great seating inside and out, upstairs and downstairs, bar... can't beat it. They have a little shop when you walk in where they sell mixers and spirits. I can't say enough about how good our experience was. Our server was excellent. She had great insight on the menu, great drink selections, food was hot, came out quick, and tasted amazing. The When I Dip, You Dip was phenomenal. I would order it every time. She suggested it to us, and we realized every other table had an order, usually a really good sign. I'm still thinking about it a week later, lol. The homemade chips, too (cue mouth watering). We ended up shifting from big entrees to small meals and more drinks... don't judge us, haha. Split shrimp Caesar salad, the grilled shrimp on the cold greens is one of my favorite contrasts. Shaved parm was a perfect addition to a good Caesar salad. We also split the chicken sandwich. It was so good! Comeback sauce and roasted tomatoes really made the sandwich for me... and the fries are awesome. All the drinks we had were phenomenal. Excellent spirits and menu. Next time I'm in Bethlehem, I will 100% return to Social Still. Excellent stuff going on here, check them out!

Wifey and I have stopped in here each time we've gone to the Christkindlmarkt, also in Bethlehem. Every time we've eaten here the food was absolutely delicious. This past year, we just stopped in for drinks and we were again impressed with their creations. I also got "taste-tested" into buying one of their bourbons. Our waitress suggested I try it so I went to the bar and asked the bartender who told me about it and when I tried it I immediately went and bought one. Do yourself a favor...stop in for a drink or two.

It's open Wednesday through Saturday from 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM and Sunday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. My friend and I made our first visit early Friday evening. The service was good, and the food more than lived up to expectations. We started with tender, well-seasoned beef skewers, crispy buffalo wings over blue cheese, and perfectly cooked roasted cauliflower paired with a tasty tzatziki sauce and pickled onion. For my entree, I ordered the maple-glazed short rib. It was incredibly tender, practically melting in my mouth, and came with creamy sweet potato puree and roasted shallots. My friend ordered the rich, deeply flavorful bolognese. Although she received the small plate portion rather than the entree, it wasn't a major issue as we had more than enough food. There are still many items on the menu I'd like to try, and after such a strong first visit, I'll most certainly be back.

I attended Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy Part II in DC, and overall it was a really enjoyable…read moreexperience--especially for fans of Poe--but with a few logistical quirks worth noting. First, "speakeasy" is definitely used loosely here. The event took place in a ballroom at the Kellogg Conference Hotel, with a stage set up at the front and several round 8-top tables arranged throughout the room. It felt more like a small theatrical performance with table seating than an intimate, hidden speakeasy-style venue. One thing to flag: the event FAQ mentioned that some venues may have a pre-show bar but no food. That wasn't the case here--the hotel actually had food available for purchase before the show. So if that matters to you, it's worth checking directly with the venue rather than relying solely on the event website. The performers truly carry the entire experience. They handle everything--checking tickets, seating guests, serving cocktails, and performing--which is impressive but also leads to some occasional disorganization. When we arrived, there wasn't great communication between the ticket checker and the usher, so some guests seated themselves and had to be moved later. It didn't ruin anything, but smoother coordination would make the start of the evening feel more polished. As for the cocktails: you get four, one paired with each story. Unfortunately, this was probably the most underwhelming part. The drinks weren't very strong--you could barely taste the alcohol--and despite the website showing nice glassware, they were actually served in plastic cups. It didn't quite live up to the "cocktail experience" expectation. That said, the performance itself was fantastic. The cast was engaging, energetic, and clearly passionate about Poe's work. They performed The Pit and the Pendulum, The Cask of Amontillado, Annabel Lee, and The Fall of the House of Usher, and each was brought to life in a compelling way. There were even a few ad-libbed moments that added humor and kept the show feeling fresh. The actors also did a great job interacting with the audience at each table while serving drinks, which added a personal touch. Overall, despite a few hiccups with logistics and the cocktails, the strength of the performances makes this a worthwhile experience--especially if you're a Poe fan.

Dining at Swift was truly exceptional. The food was outstanding, but what impressed us even more was the entire experience. Every course, every interaction, and every detail reflected genuine pride and care. We spent the day exploring Historic Bethlehem, enjoying the charming shops and restaurants, then returned to what felt like a peaceful retreat. It was the perfect combination of a boutique hotel and a walkable, historic town. In a world where many places promise a luxury experience, the Wilbur Mansion quietly delivers something even better...an experience that feels personal, authentic, and unforgettable. Update on Nov 30, 2025…read more We have once again stayed at this beautiful place and am in awe with their attention to details and the lovely holiday decor. We stayed in the premier king with soaking tub room and everything is described to perfection from the spacious bathroom with the soaking tub to the separate get ready changing room. The overall room and establishment decor is one thing, but what elevates this establishment are the personal human connections with the attentive staffs. A huge shoutout to both Sundiata and Lou for their graciousness and hospitality skills. They along with the restaurant bartender tonight, Ashlynn, continue to make us feel like a home away from home. Having been here a few times and been to their restaurant, we highly recommend this place to both locals and visitors.

We had the choice of inside or outside seating. I chose outside because it was warm beautiful evening outside. And, Inside the ac is still on and I get very cold easily. I was freezing as soon as I walked in, so I easy decision for me. We had the artisanal bread app which comes with 2 different flavored butters (my favorite was the lemon/citrus one. my husband liked the green, which i think may have been a pesto but I'm not sure.). Or also came with a delicious EVOO dip. Had our Cesar salads with THE BEST croutons I've ever had! And I do not normally eat croutons because they are usually way too hard and crunchy. Seriously, these croutons were the perfect blend of crispy outside & buttery inside, seasoned perfect. Next our meals. I ordered the mushroom risotto and added a side of shrimp. Was a bit disappointed that meant i only got 2 shrimp for the extra money. They were large shrimp, but i would've preferred medium shrimp & to have a few more instead. The egg in the risotto was odd to me, so I can't comment on that as I didn't eat it. But the meal was so flavorful & delicious! My husband got the pasta special of the day- chicken parm with pasta. Expecting a boneless piece of chicken, so image his surprise that it was a chicken quarter with bones. Not bad, just unexpected. He enjoyed his food as well. Staff was attentive & service was great. The patio was nice. I was glad we were seated towards the windows because of the huge spiders that are by the seats by the edge. Overall, although expensive, great experience & we would return.

You could tell by speaking with him that he took pride in their menu. He let us sample some of the sauces which was great. I had the special of the day which was a grilled tomato/bacon cheese on Texas toast and a tomato soup with rice, ground beef, onions and peppers. It was fantastic! I also had the Cowboy bites which were jalapeños with cream cheese, bacon and corn - my goodness they were so good! My bro had the "what came first". Fried chicken sandwich with a fried egg and bacon. It came with fries and he said it was really good. My husband had Tri-tip cheese steak with no mushrooms. He said it was delicious.
