Definitely a hidden gem! All the Chinese food is spectacular. One standout is the claypot rice. The crispy rice on the bottom, may sometimes be referred to as tahdig or socarrat, is really crunchy. Make sure to scrape the bottom. The different textures are what really make the dish. Also their handmade biang biang noodles are very flavorful. The beef short rib noodles were very tender. Make sure to give this place a try. read more

Social Eatery is a mini food court in a quieter part of Millbrae. There is a small parking lot as well. There are not that much choices here - only 3 vendors, but there is plenty of seating inside. I came here specifically for Grapeholic, but it was pretty disappointing. read more

I totally spaced on writing a review for this spot! I came here with my sister back in February. It was our first time. The directions were weird on the GPS because there's a parking lot next to the restaurant but it is not the restaurant's parking lot but we eventually found it and it made sense when we parked. It was a really cute place. It felt cozy. It's one of those places where you walk in and find a table and use the QR code on the table with your phone to order your food then a waiter brings your food over which is cool. We ordered a rice bowl and appetizer to share and we each got the red bean sesame balls and boba/jelly drinks which was delicious but kind of wish there was more of a selection since they were out of some items. Overall this place was very nice and would come back to try the other menu items. Forgot to take pics again. OOPS! read more

Biang biang noodles is very delicious. Clay pots taste great. And boba drinks were the best.

been here twice, the food is definitely good i had rice and fish dish in the pot with sausage green grape drink was also very good will defy recommend, parking space is very limited also eat in self service table is first come first serve read more

Cafeteria style type of place. Clay pot rice and biangbiang noodles are so good! Def worth a try

Grapeholic: excellent! Best Chinese fruit tea place in the Bay. They use lots of fresh fruit, satisfying mix of textures and flavors. Noodleosophy: Why is it so hard to get Chinese food that isn't Cantonese, or Canto-fied in this area? At any rate, noodleosophy sells decent northwest Chinese noodle dishes. I forget the other place's name, but they sell rice pot dishes. Delicate flavors, well-made. I highly recommend. read more

The flavor of the drinks is on point. My wife really like the grape drinks where they use real grapes! I knocked out a pint because there boba was not cooked correctly. So come here and expect great flavors from the drinks but not the boba. We have not tried there entrees so this Yelp review is strictly for the drinks. read more

Amazing amazing food! I had the spicy beef noodle soup and the flavor was so rich and amazing. also came with whole bunch of meat. I split among 2 people and wish i got my own because of how good. it was. I went back 2 days later because I was craving the noodles lol. sooo amazing. Cute ambiance and great service! Theyre pretty quick and the servers are very nice read more

I cannot believe my eyes. One of the food prep guys took a hard boiled egg from the prep tray- put it into his hand ( not a dish) to bring it to the back to cut and garnish to the rice plate. This is the same blue glove he uses to fill water and clear the tables. Beware They are busy but busy does not mean your food safety should be overlooked. read more

Take out Oder from the table is glitchy. Missed our order. Needed to wait extra long and ask about it. Disappointed!

Noodleosophy is TERRIBLE, let us wait for more than 30mins and no one never reached out to us, when we asked, they just said, oh, we didnt have beef any more........ so we just sat with a starving stomach over half hour........ UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE, NO RESPECT read more

Ate here multiple times while in the peninsula for business. The variety of noodles kept me coming back. They are all so uniquely flavorful, and have great mouth coat similar to eating ramen in Japan. I recommend the chicken & curry (extra spicy) and the wild chili pepper & beef. I've ordered these multiple times. read more

The food is good, although there is not too many selections. The vibe there is also nice too.

A total of 5 of us was walking by and decided to stop in this Eatery on Saturday during their soft opening. Currently, only the drink part of the Eatery (Grapeholic) is open. Looks like the food part (Noodleosophy and Rice Monster) will be coming soon. Each of us tried a different drink from Grapeholic and each one of us thought our drinks were really really good. They have a pretty unique and extensive drink menu. Great atmosphere, comfortable seating, and super clean. Can't wait to come back when their food options are available! OH and one more thing - they have a parking lot!!! read more

The rice dish was swimming in oil! The noodles were also oily because of the oily meat topping. It made for a very greasy mouthfeel even though the taste was kinda okay. I would not want to eat so much grease again so will not be going there for rice and noodle. We had the mango drink and it was good. read more

The noodles were great. atmosphere is ok, not much service, very much self serve. Very technology enabled. almost feels like a cloud kitchen. read more

great staff and fair owner communication resolve small issue. the food is great. thanks

Can't say it was good nor bad; just meh . Double boiled soup for under $7 was the star of my meal; soup was delicious and for that price, just can't beat it. Clay pot rice though was meh; had better at other restaurants. read more

Our first time there tonight, I really wanted to like this place, unfortunately we left without ordering. I am 100% ok with QR code ordering, however, I like a little just a little interaction with the staff that works there. Not one person came by and asked if we have any questions, we did but that's besides the point now. The reason we left was we wanted hot tea we couldn't find it on the menu and there was no one around to ask so I went up the the counter and asked if he knew where on the menu I can order hot tea, he's reply was I only make the noodles, I don't know. If he didn't, l didn't know so we left! read more

I ordered some noodles and drink for to go in the machine inside, expecting that I'll receive a phone message when it's ready. After 30 mins wait (I knew they preparing food super slow as my passed experienced) went in and asked the staff if my order is ready, the Latino lady told me that I should stay inside and wait for my name to be called, I asked her back what is the purpose to leave my phone number on that machine right. She said that machine doesn't work . Okay not even said anything apologize and teaching a customer to do what they want. The fact is they gave my order to another customer and no apologize. Sucks experience ever... read more

My unagi rice came uncooked. Poached egg was raw with raw egg whites so they recooked it. My mushrooms were overcooked and rice was burnt on the outside because of the unagi sauce. read more

Wanted to really like this place but it took forever (over 30 mins) for my husband to get his rice bowl when I ordered from the noodle place and got my noodles fast. So my food was cold by the time he finallllly got his. This is definitely not a fast food place. read more

Don't come here on a Friday or Saturday night. It's a mad house and free for all. Everyone is standing congested in the front door. People are squeezing in and flooding the area for a free table. First come first serve so if you not out eyeing for a table someone else swoop right in. There's no system so it's very difficult to enjoy your dinner. Save yourself from the nightmare. read more

I have been here three times since they've opened and each time I've enjoyed the food and experience. It is food hall style and you order via QR code and the staff brings the food out for you. There are several options like clay pot rice, hand cut noodles, and boba. My favorite is the clay pot rice with chicken, mushroom and I add Chinese sausage to it. I think this place is great for a casual lunch or dinner. read more

2nd visit, and this place absolutely does not disappoint. Seriously good food. I thought I was too tired from travel to eat, but ended up with a super generous bowl of chicken and noodles. Delectable! Fresh, flavorful broth, perfectly cooked ramen and delicious, moist chicken pieces with a tasty and crunchy full coverage crispy coating, broccoli cooked to make you want more. Very satisfying, and a meal not to be rushed. Staff, including manager on duty, completely attentive to customers, floor and tableware clean and non sticky tables. Great atmosphere and unusually, totally a place for the lone traveler to a date night to a family feast with kids of any age. Highly recommend. read more

A year ago I stopped in on a whim, curious to try the spicy garlic noodles and see if they were up to par. I was pleasantly surprised by the cozy ambiance and traditional wood themed interior design. NOTE!: over the one year that I had first and last visited this food court the food quality has dropped significantly. At first I gave it 4 stars at first , but had to drop one due to the poor execution. The service is prompt and efficient with the mobile ordering system. The spicy garlic noodles had met expectations quite well. Excellent bouncy chewiness on the ramen noodles that cut easily when bitten into. There was a perfect amount of oil that coated every noodle without too much excess that would have caused the dish to be too greasy. The general seasoning was well balanced and did the dish's name justice. Next time I come I will definitely get the next level of heat. However, I had added a spiced egg to my dish, which fell flat of expectations. I expected a delicious runny/jammy onset egg but received a hard boiled one instead to my disappointment. read more

Wonderful drinks from grapeholic, and tasty claypot rice dishes and noodles. The food court has plenty of seating and they had nice Halloween decor. read more

Food was decent and the setting was nice. Came in for lunch and wanted to stay connected and work a bit while I had lunch, but unfortunately the wifi didn't work which also made ordering a bit challenging because my cellular service was also pretty spotty. Would recommend to bring a personal hotspot if you plan to stay for a decent amount of time. Love the place overall. read more

If I could give zero stars I would! I came in on a Monday shortly after 11 and it took over 45 minutes for fries (that were still cold) and 2 char siu baos. If I was ordering other items I could understand the long wait. But no- don't go here! Long wait's and cold food!! read more

Went today and it was good for the kind of food and ambience it represents at a good value. Had the beef stew noodles with ramen. The beef was tender but not pull apart at the veins soft and the noodles had a nice chew. Also ordered a chicken and pork rib clay pot rice. The rice was crispy on the edges and meat was tender but a tad bit too salty for my taste. Easy, no frills, ordering system and cool overall. read more

Cool place to eat. I ordered the ramen noodles with chicken and curry soup. It was very tasty but it's on the pricey side for the amount of food you get. I like the pickled vegetables but you have to pay extra for them. read more

There is no communication when I get in after waiting by the sign at the front. I have to flag down a guy. He tells me to sit at the table. I sit there, and the table is sticky, and there is still food from the last customers. I sit there for another 15 minutes, and no one gives me a menu or tell me to use the qr code. When I get to check out, I am charged a 15% service charge. I believe that because you pay the service charge up fount, the waiters have no incentive to give a decent experience. I had to flag down a waiter again to get an update on when dinner arrived, and she disappeared again. Like the mist, when i got my chicken curry, the chicken was over cooked I am never coming again and will not recommend this for dine in as they don't care about quality as you pay up front. read more

Randomly found this place when riding my scooter tk Millbrae BART. I was starving and before entering BART I knew I had to eat something. I looked up and saw the sign, which immediately caught my attention for its name and the appearance reminded me of graffiti street art. I had no idea what type of food it was but I was going to find out. I walked in to what essentially looked like a very clean Asian inspired cafeteria. Signage instructed patrons to scan the QR codes at the table to place there order. That was probably the only thing I disliked. When dining in, I still like the experience of a server being able to answer my questions about the menu. But I understand the shifts places have had to make since the pandemic. So it was Asian inspired restaurant that had claypot rice dishes, and noodles. I ordered the short rib ramen noodles without the broth but with extra bok choy. Let me tell you. Those noodles were well worth the fifteen minute wait. It was delicious so flavorful and the heat was tender, the small amount of broth that was included made for a perfect ending. The portions and the price were on point. If I lived nearby I'd without a doubt be a regular. read more

The vegetarian biang biang noodle is so good! I'm on a vegetarian diet and this is my to go place for noodles.

Very nice to experience authentic Chinese noodles, Hotpot Rice and drinks! Definitely will be my go-to place.

Really loved the drinks from Grapeholic! Never seen a tea store dedicated to grapes, but they're my favorite fruit so I was super excited to try it! I would definitely recommend! Also ordered noodles from Noodleosophy and really enjoyed those too! The customer service was great and the environment was super nice :) read more

I love their clay pot rice bowls from Rice Monster and the grapeholic drink options. The price is considered expensive though, as I can easily walk out of the door paying over $28 for just a drink and rice bowl, without adding extras! The atmosphere is welcoming and trendy.
