The house special was good, but the aftertaste was that taste you get in your mouth when you fry fish in that oil first. Unassuming spot with pretty solid wings. They offer plenty of wings flavors as well as sides. The wings are on the slightly smaller side but flavorful and made well. I chose lemon pepper, garlic parmesan, and honey garlic sriracha for my wings, cajun fries and fried zucchini for my sides, and upgraded my drinks to a green thai tea and an unsweetened green tea. Let me tell you... these wings are probably some of the best I've had in awhile AND I'M NOT KIDDING. The meat was so tender and the sauces were really flavorful. The lemon pepper isn't your average take on lemon pepper and it didn't feel oily/greasy at all. Honey garlic sriracha had such a nice kick, kinda reminded me of the spicy noodle packet flavor! Yelpers, I'm so thankful Connie and crew have opened up SoCal Wings! I don't do the yard-bird, however, they also serve shrimp- HUGE butterflied shrimp, seasoned to perfection!
