From the call to the service nothing but I can't say enough about the outstanding service I received. Spencer is an amazing person who immediately understood what I was dealing with. It took him no more than ten minutes to diagnose the problem. His communication was clear, honest, and professional. He was completely transparent about the cost of the parts that needed to be replaced, which I really appreciated. This is, without a doubt, the best service in town. The efficiency, expertise, and exceptional customer service exceeded my expectations. If I could give Spencer 10 stars, I absolutely would. Highly recommended! read more

SoCal Image Techs - Electronics Repair Near Me

I called SoCal image techs because of a repair issue I had with my printer. Spenser gave me his hourly rate on the phone and was ready to work when he showed up. He took one look at my printer and said it wasn't going to be worth it for me to repair. He said there is a lot of issues with it and he felt bad making me pay for it. Haha. While it was depressing hearing that from him, it was nice to know that he was honest in his response. Very nice guy. I would definitely recommend. read more

We started having an issue with our printer and our I.T. folks contacted SoCal Image Techs to come have a look at the printer. Spencer showed up the next day and located the issue, replaced the part, and had us up and running in less than 24 hours. Now about Spencer. Too bad they can't bottle and sell this guy. He is smart, funny, thorough, witty, charming, and professional. He has to be a lousy golfer-nobody can do everything great. If you need a printer tech, CALL THESE FOLKS! Spencer the manager is outstanding and offered the best customer service experience, having gone above and beyond to try to help me out with the problem I have with my Canon PIXMA MP280 printer and the paper roller not working. Unfortunately we were not able to find a solution and it is more cost effective to invest in a new printer, but it does not take away from the fact that Spencer did something unlike most other places would have done, with the absolute best demeanor, and for that reason I would highly recommend him. read more

Spencer was awesome! I got an Epson Inkjet WF-3450 secondhand that upon replacing the ink only printed blue. I called around and most either offered an expensive diagnostic or simply not repair it as the printer heads were probably clogged. Spencer recommended I do nothing, but I could try spraying the nozzles with windex. It got me thinking if the ink is dried in the nozzles, why not just drench with water? I did that and combined with the printer cleaning nozzle feature, voila! It went from printing nothing/blue only to fully functional $1000 printer! Spencer was super honest and straight forward and I highly recommend! read more

Spencer is an honest 5-star professional. He responded to a phone call regarding our defective Samsung Printer and came by the same day within an hour! It cannot get any faster than that. He assessed the situation and gave us great alternatives to the problem and didn't even charge for the service call! I highly vouch for their great service and will only order my INK from them moving forward. Spencer figured out the problem within a few minutes. Speedy Gonzalez style! I also learned a lot about printers - not that I need it but it's good to know a few things. read more

Although I offered to pay him, he kept saying he just wanted to help me out and and not inconvenience me. 25 hours after the first call, my printer works good as new. Avoid. Shady business who buys used toner on eBay and then resells/installs them as if they were new for customers.

Spencer and his team were super responsive and helpful from the very first phone call. He was attentive to our issues and followed up with honesty, friendliness, and courtesy. He offered options for solutions and you can tell he is an absolute expert in his field. Will definitely be our number one long term support moving forward. read more

Lacking integrity. Shady. Wasted hours of my time. Tried to force a 5-star review after bait and switch. In summary, we paid for a repair for a printer that is not repaired. We were sold a printer and scope of work and he kept changing it like a shady salesperson. I wish it worked out and I dislike posting a negative review. I would rather get what was discussed. The printer we asked him to fix and we paid for didn't work right after he left. The printer he suggested we purchase for 4K was too much. He followed up with an email saying I'm a nice guy that he wants to work with and that 3.5K for delivery and install would work. I went to my client with the deal and they approved. He then changed the price back to 4K and asked me to not write a bad review, made it part of a new agreement he wanted to sign. Slimy. Sad. I am grieving for what he promised and upset that he got past my intuition. I wanted it to work out and for us to have this lovely printer he sold me on. Here was 1 email: Copier Delivered. Copier Set up on (1) PC Only.. My Tech will show you how to set the rest of your PC's up 90 DAy Warrany on Copier ONLY... No IT Support... (he told me 1 year warranty when he sold me) ($3500 split in three checks) Copier will be full with Tone...r I also want a 5 star YELP REVIEW posted TODAY. Stating how we went out of our way to help your company with an amazing Copier ! NO EXCEPTIONS Here is another email: Hi Stan... I never said we would set up for $3500 ? I work remotely and during the pandemic I upgraded my home office. I spent over $400 for a new printer. My scanner/printer was having some issues but was out of warranty with the manufacturer. Fortunately, my credit card provided some additional coverage but needed a repair invoice in order to get the claim paid out. I called Spencer and he helped me with some initial troubleshooting steps and when that didn't work, he was able to provide me with the necessary documentation to navigate the claim process. I'm super grateful and if I ever have any printer related issues, I'll definitely be hitting him up first and recommending him to anyone that has printer issues. read more

I called SoCal Image Techs after being told by the company of my printer (HP) that my printer had a hardware issue and that I should buy a new printer. I than called Spencer at SoCal Image Techs and he walked me through troubleshooting over the phone for free. Turns out it was only an ink cartridge issue! The ink had dried up. I put in a new cartridge, and everything was fine. Great service, very helpful! - Serina read more

When we had issues with our printer, Spencer showed up immediately. Their service was fast and friendly. We were getting good service for about two months, and then it all went downhill. When one of the non-HP-brand toners supplied to us broke, I requested a toner replacement and also a back-up in case it happened again. In response, was an unrelated and emotional/angry email from him saying that their cartridges are the best in the business. Then he asked why I hadn't sent any referrals. How would he know if I referred him or not? And is it my responsibility that they don't purchase from SoCal Techs? Very surprising to receive such hostility from the owner. They sent a replacement, but charged us for it. read more

The worst experience I have ever had dealing with a company. Per the other reviews and our experience this company will do exactly that- Take your money and never do the job. The customer service girl they have is extremely rude and not helpful at all. The first couple of visits we had were from Spencer in which he had diagnosed that the printer needed to be taken apart and looked at as we are going through our Magenta every month however it should be lasting us more than 6-8 months Given the type of printer we have. After the first 2 visits he fixed a couple of minor things but not even close to what we had originally requested and discussed. After the 2nd visit there was no word from spencer and they sent someone else who had no idea what the issue was and re diagnosed and basically fiddled around with the printer - HUGE waste of time. After that Spencer committed via email to come by on several occasions but never did - After several attempts everyone from their company just stopped responded and never completed the job in which they were paid for in advance. read more

Our IT company referred me to SoCal for some troubleshooting on one of our printers. Great experience and customer service

These guys are the real deal. Hands down, the best copier repair service I've dealt with over our 13 years as a business. Spencer and his team are at the top of their game. Not only did they send out a tech within 24hrs of contacting them, but when our copier had issues after the repair, they came right back out and fixed the issue. They offer a 90-day guarantee with their services, which blows everyone else out of the water. Their techs are kind and polite, and do proper follow-up with their repairs. They are sending out a service tech to our copier next week to correct a strange sound that started occurring after the initial repair. 100% happy with their level of service professionalism. Will use them for years to come. read more

If you're looking for fast and educated technicians, this is the place to call! Not only do they come out to your location and address the issues with your machine, but they also don't try to sell you things you don't need unlike other places I tried to call and get a quote from. I have a Canon Image class MF8380cdw, occasionally I would print my address and name on small envelopes to send out to my customers. My printer started jamming after a while and I could not figure out what the problem was, I called SoCal Image Techs, the rep that took my call, i think she said her name was Nikki, was very helpful and professional. She took down all my information and said she would get back to me. 15 mins later she calls back, says she's having her tech Spencer come out that same day!! GREAT!!! Spencer came by asked what was wrong, I told him my situation and instantly he had a solution. Turns out the adhesive seal was getting stuck on my rollers, due to the heat of the machine (I'm no tech savvy, how could I have known that?) Anyways, Spencer advised me he would order the parts and have them delivered to my place and he would come out here again and install them. Sure enough, I received the parts in no time and he was here the same day to install them. Now at the time I'm thinking I'm going to end up with a big bill to pay up, not at all. I only paid $125.00 for them coming out to check out my machine, labor and parts. Had no problems with their service or receiving an invoice. Everything was done in a timely manner and very impressed with their work. Ever since I call them over for regular maintenance on my printer and scanners. I would definitely recommend you check them out and give them a try. read more
