Being a 16 year old printer (which has printed over 15,000 documents and photos), the OEM parts were not even available and I wasn't in the market for replacing the printer since outside of the pads, the printer worked great. Howard clearly broke down what needed to be done regarding rebuilding the maintenance tank to get the printer running again, gave a fair price and a quick repair turnaround. They charged me $45 to look at it. When I got it back, they charged $95 for labor. What did they do? They ordered new ink, and wiped down the inside. Overall I paid $130+ for him to buy new ink, wipe down the back, and put it in. An honest local, repair business (I had one nearby when I lived in Woodland Hills), wouldn't bilk you for every penny. They'd tell you what the problem was, and do the right thing when charging for the actual labor/effort so that you'd want to go back. This business did the exact opposite. They also promised me an invoice which was never presented to me or sent to me. They knew exactly what they were doing, which is why it felt so awkward when I went to pick it up. I know times are tough. And they were never rude to me. But this is no way to run a business. I live nearby but I will never do business with them. I am a teacher, who immediately got an office job for the summer, lacking in time and money (operating hours are tough here too) and they were laughing their way to the bank with me. Literally. The guy laughed on the phone when I told him I'd come in to pick it up. They kept suggesting "send the old ink back" as if to suggest this could offset the EXTREMELY HIGH LABOR COSTS they were charging me. Again, not a way to treat customers (nor could I sent it back, it's literally open ink cartridges from weeks ago). Very dishonest. DO NOT go here.

They replaced my hinges, fixed the placement of some of the parts that were out of place and keeping motherboard exposed, and created a fill for the parts that had broken off. Opens and shuts extremely smoothly, I almost forget how janky it was just a month ago. Works great, and was absolutely worth the price they charged, which was extremely reasonable, especially if I can get another 5+ years out of this laptop!

I had an accident where I stepped on my legion go s screen and it shattered. I didn't expect it to break the entire screen, but only crack a portion of the screen. The fragility of the screen is significantly worse than I thought. I talked with several other tech repair shops and either they did not answer my request for a quote, took way too long to answer or gave a response that they could do nothing about handheld repairs, some gave bad replies. He was the best of 8 different tech repair shops I have encountered and not only the best, it was a landslide better than the competition. The only real issue I had was a very high price premium to fix my device. It was about half of what the actual device cost. Of course I got it on sale for about 700$. The service, labor and total cost to repair was $335. So, almost half of what I paid for the device at Best Buy. I learned not to place this fragile handheld on the ground to prevent it from getting damaged again. Overall satisfied with the outcome and Dory did fix it. Personality was good and time to fix was roughly 2 hours. Parking lot structure is terrible, not enough space and many other places nearby. There are other parking structures as well but it may get towed or even scratched due to compact spaces. Also a little unsafe as there are some loitering. Overall, It's good but not the greatest in terms of value but Dory been doing this for many years roughly 15 as I recall.

Our small law firm has an old Lenovo computer that we use only for billing with outdated software…read moreand we wanted to avoid having to purchase the newer expensive version. The hard drive was failing and an IT tech recommended having it "imaged," which would result in an exact duplicate that would not require any software reauthentication. He also recommended Tech Care as the folks to do it. They initially tried doing an automatic imaging, which didn't take, so they attempted to manually image it and were successful. The computer now has a more reliable SSD drive (no moving parts) and it indeed works exactly as it used to (only faster). Eddie informed me that the old drive had maybe one month left before it completely failed. LIFE SAVERS!!! Eddie, Abed, Josh and everyone else I spoke to are top-notch guys, and the price to repair was eminently reasonable. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

He is not only highly skilled, but thorough, honest, reliable, affordable, friendly, & very professional. Communicating w/ him was easy, & he always responded promptly. My HP ENVY 7640 all-in-one printer had suddenly stopped printing. I contacted Steve, & made arrangements to drop my printer off in the morning to have him check it out. By the late afternoon, on the same day, he had cleaned up the inside of the printer, which was made even more challenging for him, by all the leaking ink iinside the printer. I'd caused this additional mess, by turning the printer on its side in an attempt to locate & clean the rollers, per a video I'd seen, BEFORE I'd contacted him. Now, I realize that that is a big NO, NO! Steve said you should always keep the printer flat, & NEVER turn it sideways. Lesson learned. By the late afternoon, Steve let me know that my printer was repaired & ready for delivery or pickup. I picked it up, & plugged it in, after returning home. I was able to print a perfect copy of a document, with NO problems! I am thrilled w/ the results, & very grateful to have found Steve on the YELP website.
