They are located close to Gwinnett Mall at NE Atlanta. They are at GW plaza. This is a dessert place. I saw many bring the laptop and enjoy their alone time there. They do supply some board game. If you have group of people, you can enjoy their board games. I kind agree with TJ pricing may be the factor. Other factors will be the flexibility of shave ice. The shave ice order is big. However they only frozen big ice cube for one order. I would suggest use small cube and allow more flavor. We have order the shave ice with mix jelly and egg custard. It do come in big bowl for sharing. The shave ice is not small portion like Tampa shave ice place. We have the honey dew shave ice. The are good flavor. Service is average. I was going to give this place at least a 3 star until I found hair in my ice cream. :( We got one of those fruit toasts that is one of their popular menu items. In the middle of eating, we realized there was a longgg piece of hair in the middle of it. It definitely wasn't me or my friend's since it was stuck right in the spankin' middle. We called the manager over and she didn't even apologize for it. She just asked if we wanted another one or not. At this point, I no longer had an appetite. I just feel like this whole situation could've been handled a little better by their management. Maybe offer to give us another free of charge or something? We would most likely decline but at least knowing that they would try to make up for it would be nice. It's also really, really loud there usually and hard to talk over the crowd. If you're looking for a quiet place to have a good conversation and relax, then this isn't the place for you. People are usually playing games, etc which tend to make the place really noisy. I really enjoy the shaved ice, especially the green tea shaved ice which comes with an extra side of red bean. You can pick two additional toppings and two additional syrups. The dessert comes in a toasted bread box thing and theres like toasted bread cubes inside and ice cream and berries if you got the Berry one like we did. Definitely a unique twist on a dessert. The good thing is if this sounds like too much chocolate for you, you can change the flavor of ice cream to vanilla, strawberry, or any other flavor they offer. All this is offered for 5.25. Another great thing about snowflake is that all their portions are sharing size. They have many different items that serve 2-4 people each. Snow Flake Tea House is a Taiwanese tea house that opened May 2015 in the sprawling Gwinnett Station shopping center on Pleasant Hill Road in Duluth. In recent years, most spaces in this desolate shopping center were vacant. However, there has been an influx of tenants in 2015. They include 89 Hot Pot (Chinese hot pot, opened in February), Thai Pad & Coco Sweets (Thai-Lao restaurant, replaced Taste of Pho, opened in May), So Gong Dong (Korean tofu house, second location, opened in May), and The Coffee by Hand (Korean cafe, opened in May). Later this year, Sweet Hut is planning to open its third location in this shopping center as well. Snow Flake Tea House comes to metro Atlanta by way of Sno-Crave Tea House from the Bay Area in California. When it first opened, Snow Flake actually used Sno-Crave's menus, but has since switched to updated menus exclusive to this Georgia location. Unlike other Asian bakeries and cafes, Snow Flake is a "sit-down" place. When you enter the business, a server will seat your party. Compared to its competition, Snow Flake is plain when it comes to ambiance and decor. While the strip mall space has been renovated and looks new and clean, there's not much to the place other than a wide open room with a bunch of speckled granite-looking tables and pink cushioned chairs. There's wide tiled flooring and the far wall has a neat, 3D, modern-looking, alternating symmetrical design. The "open" kitchen really isn't all that open since high countertops block customer views into the kitchen. I estimate the store can seat about 50 guests. Seating is flexible as tables can be rearranged to accommodate various party sizes. Snow Flake offers 25 iced green and black teas of various flavors including lychee, kumquat, red guava, wintermelon, and chrysanthemum; traditional Chinese oolong teas; 25+ iced milk teas; 10+ "healthy" yogurt and egg honey juice drinks; jelly ice drinks; 15 sweet Asian smoothies (e.g. taro, red bean, lychee); hot sweet dessert-style soups; hot traditional Chinese teas including Ti Kuan Yin (a.k.a. Tieguanyin, an oolong variant) and pu-erh (from Yunnan province); hot flavored green and black teas; 15+ hot flavored milk teas; nearly 20 hot "healthy" drinks which include fruits such as longan, goji berries, and jujubes (Chinese dates); as well as the popular "flavored snow," toast, crepes, and other desserts like creme brulee and macarons. When it comes to tea, expect to spend roughly $3-4 each for a regular size and $4-5 each for a large size. Like other tea shops, you can adjust the sweetness level of your tea and add toppings such as boba (tapioca pearls), popping boba, pudding, and jelly for 50 cents to a dollar per topping. If you have leftovers or want to take your beverage to go, the glasses are designed to make pouring your drink into another cup easy. It's a nice little touch. Hot tea is served in an all-glass tea kettle and base with a glass tea cup. There's a candle in the base, lit tableside, which keeps the tea in the kettle warm. The milk teas and boba are A-OK. The rose green milk tea is aromatic and fragrant and the tapioca are sufficiently fresh. If you want to try something different, I recommend one of the "healthy" yogurt drinks. I found the peach yogurt to be quite delicious. Creamy, refreshing, and wholly satisfying. It's a great alternative to milk tea. On the flipside, I can't say I'm a fan of the jelly ice drinks. They're just too sweet for me. The jelly ice drinks essentially consist of a glass of sweetened, flavored crushed ice and water/syrup plus lots of flavored jellies. It would be fine if it wasn't excessively sweet. The flavored snow ($6.95) is excellent! You must try one. The ice is neatly shaved into soft, thin ribbons similar to Ice Monster in Taiwan. I'm impressed with both the flavor and consistency of the ice. It's delicious. Flavored snow comes with two toppings and two sauces. I love adding condensed milk to any Asian snack/dessert when it's an option. As for toppings, I suggest grass jelly and egg pudding, but you might want to pair one of those with red beans for more texture. As for the actual "snow" flavor, taro is terrific. The toast (~$3 per slice, $11.95 per special "box") and crepes (about $5-6 each) are good too. The toast is warm, appetizing, and filling. Each slice is thick with a crisp, delectable crust. It's simple yet gratifying. The special toasts are hollow and have decadent presentations. The crepes are nicely made. The fruit (mango, strawberry, kiwi, banana) is ripe. All crepes come with ice cream (OK) and are drizzled with chocolate sauce and powdered sugar. Good service. Everything is made to order and timely. read more

Both plazas connect and access to drive through. INTERIOR Baby pink chairs with glittery sapphire tables throughout the whole store. It's pretty spacious. They could've added booths to make it less empty and more cafe-dessert-esque. SERVICE Nice folks. Attentive and eager to answer any questions. Even when I get a reduction in sugar. Sometimes the tables/games are too old/sticky which makes me question the cleanliness. Sometimes my feet would catch something sticky as I walk and I feel a little grossed out on some visits. However they do have a good staff and the space is big. I am giving this place a 3 star as a way to say that they need to step it up. With the openings of new cafes/ hangout spots, it really needs to step up if this place hopes to continue to thrive. Is this another Suno? No, it's Snow Flake Tea House! We were going to try to find our own seats but they seated us, like at a sit down restaurant, which was unexpected. After debating over which dessert to get, we went against the norm and got the honey toast instead of the snow. The honey toast was a 11-12 dollar half loaf of bread, essentially. There were three scoops of fruity ice cream and fresh fruits on top of the brick of toast. Inside the bread walls were chunks of toasted bread which complemented the rapidly melting ice cream. I also ordered a peach green tea with no toppings, as each topping would have cost me extra. The tea house was hopping so it took the server a while to get to us. We had to flag her down for her to take our order, otherwise, she just keep walking past our table back and forth. Overall, I will definitely need to come back again when the hype has died down and it is less busy. Our toast took over 20 minutes to get to us (although the server did warn us). While the tea house provided us with games such as Jenga or cards so we lost track of time while waiting, I wonder if that's really how long it takes to prepare the toast. Cute little, no-frills Asian bakery/cafe located conveniently in Duluth, but with a catch. Nowadays, it's pretty hard to stand out when it seems like everyday a new Asian cafe is opening. Sweet Hut and Coffee By Hand also live in the same plaza, with other cafe's a quick drive away. But as with everyone, you come for the toast here. We got here on a busy Monday night, the place was pretty packed with families and friends sitting around. Cleanliness and decor was okay but not spectacular, kinda reminiscent of an old-school Asian establishment, unlike the newer, hip ones. Since they're pretty unique for their toast, we decided to share one together, and ordered the Summer Style Honey Toast. While we were waiting, we grabbed two tubs of the jenga blocks and decided to play a round, loser pays for the toast. These jenga blocks were fun and unique: customers sign their names all over them with sharpies and pens, some of them were littered with ye old memes and internet sayings. About 10 min later our toast arrives, and I'm afraid to say it but...it's def IG-worthy. Basically it was a hallowed out loaf of toast, with ice cream on top and scattered chunks of fruit like mangoes and kiwi, drizzled with some sweetened-condensed milk. Fruit was fresh, and although the toast was on the dry side, the ice cream was creamy and good. Definitely something to get during the summer, was refreshing and light. Though the food was A-okay, the atmosphere bumps it up to a 4. With the jenga and the novelty of the toast, this spot deserves a visit in the sea of bakeries out there. read more

My friend and I both took one sip, looked at each other, and exclaimed how tasty it was. The ice cream dessert (I don't remember the name anymore) was alright. I think there was too much toast to enjoy the taste of the ice cream and toppings, but I'm sure their other dessert towers don't have that issue as well. We were given menus and then waited a half hour to order even though it wasn't that busy. The menu is a dream to any treat lover with tantalizing pictures for people unfamiliar to this new craze!
