I wish we have one like this in Orlando. Various offers for shared ice cream and desserts. The tea sets already made us feel good. I learned from a place next door, but this tea house really does the trick: Desserts is Stressed spelled backward. And it is located where? The Pleasant Hills. What a heaven! read more

Went there with my 2 kids on Friday to start the week end 1- it was pretty quiet, not the nicest place but it is clean 2- order snow flavor mango with popping boba it was really light and delicious. Not sure what to expect when we ordered but we liked it. One serving was enough for the 3 of us I try the rose lavender tea very flavorful you can taste well for lavender and rose, it was sweetened with honey Still prefer sweet hut for the ambiance but it is a great sport to try if you like tea ! read more

Great location, right next to Sweet Hut, Great Wall, and a bunch of Asian restaurants. Their strawberry bread was phenomenal. Perfectly soft on the inside, punctuated by the soft crunch of the crust. The bread itself wasn't too sweet, which provided a nice balance to the strawberry syrup and toppings. It looks big, but it wasn't overwhelming when shared with friends. I really like how they make their breads, and will be coming back! read more

The sheer implosion of where creative artwork meets the world of flavor. Great experience. Service was fast even though this place was super busy. The desserts, hot tea, fresh coconut milk, and bubble tea were fresh, flavor packed and well put together. Highly recommend this place. The staff was friendly and super chill. read more

Im so torn with this review. I really love the new trend of shaved ice cream and stumbled upon this place in a strip mall. We were given menus and then waited a half hour to order even though it wasn't that busy. The menu is a dream to any treat lover with tantalizing pictures for people unfamiliar to this new craze! I ordered the make it yourself snow. It came with strawberry snow, strawberries, chocolate syrup, strawberry boba, and toffee pieces. Once again it took forever to arrive and they served it without spoons which was another feat tracking down our unenthusiastic server. However when it arrived, I was delighted at the huge heap of deliciousness in front of me. Probably one of the most delightful treats that I have ever tasted! So my conundrum..... 5 stars plus for food but 1 star for service!!!! I will still be back and try to ignore the terrible service for that amazing snow! read more

Ordered the Summer Style Brick Toast! I liked it a lot! Came with three fruits (mango, strawberry, and kiwi), three choice of ice cream flavors (we chose strawberry, mango, and green tea), and honey buttered cubed toasts on the inside! The outside wall is ohkays. I liked the toasts on the inside better The service at this time was very slow. I waved at the server once to get my order, he did not come. Had to wave at him again to get his attention. They're not usually like that, but that day was off. My dessert made up for it though! read more

I love late night snacking and this place hits the spot. Their potted teas are on point and the quality of their special honey toasts is superbly consistent. Their service is always kind and friendly. The boba isn't bad at all. I definitely would recommend! read more

First time at Snowflake, so why didn't they warn us about the colossal size of these desserts? One friend got the shaved ice, and her boyfriend got two little cups of ice cream. We ordered the honey toast which is as thick as Texas toast, but heavier, but not so dense as pound cake, if that helps. Inside they throw a bunch of ice cream, whip cream, toppings like M&Ms, and bananas...it was glutinous for sure. It tasted pretty good. The bread was a little dry, though. And the size is just immense. Seriously you need to be sharing this with like six people. I was just shocked at how big it was. I tried my friend's shaved ice, and wow was that good! I'm thinking it's less calories, and wondered if it's dairy free. Anyway, it was great, and she ordered some extra toppings on it like lychee and some kind of fruity pearls. Really good stuff! Busy place, packed even though we were there late. They have games like Jenga on the table to play while you eat. And they also serve teas and macaroons. Cute place, bursting with energy. Sure everyone is high off their sugar dessert. I sure was. We weren't able to finish the dessert, but we gave it good effort. I wouldn't opt for this next time unless I had a lot more people sharing it. But that shaved ice was definitely a reason to come again. read more

We love this place for desserts! Snowflake is a drinks and desserts shop that mainly offers Taiwanese-style shaved ice and bubble tea. They are also known for their crepes and honey toast-box desserts. It's located in a resurgent shopping center off of Pleasant Hill Road with a huge parking lot. It's in the complex as Sweet Hut, 89 Hot Pot, Creme, etc. Our favorite items to get here are the macaron party (which is a honey toast box that's filled with ice cream scoops and topped with macarons; you can customize the ice cream flavors and macarons I believe), the fruit crepes, and the shaved ice desserts (of course). Most of the flavors are very good here but we weren't fans of the chocolate options for the crepes and shaved ice. We usually like chocolate but it just doesn't work with the textures and shaved ice here. For a more authentic experience, go with the taro, green tea, or strawberry shaved ice and vanilla ice cream for the crepes. The shaved ice and crepes are pretty big so they are easily shareable, unless you're really hungry. But the macaron party should be shared, since it's more fun that way. One more thing we wouldn't recommend here is the bubble tea. There are better options and this place just doesn't do it well. Go here for the desserts and only get the bubble tea if you must. read more

After I saw pictures of honey brick toast online, I've been scouring around Atlanta and Duluth for it and found this little gem. The honey brick toast here is really delicious with the rich, crispy bread pairing delightfully with the creamy ice cream topping. Make sure to come with plenty of friends to eat with though, because you get full quickly and the taste grows dull after a while. The shaved ice and crepes are also quite tasty, but none of these are eye-openingly delicious, aside from my initial bite of honey toast. In fact, what I would really, most definitely recommend is their milk black tea as it has a lot of body and a nice roasted tone, something especially nice to drink during the winter time. read more

I was so looking forward to this place... but it wasn't up to the standard of this area. There are so many amazing places in this area and the reviews seemed so promising... I got the green tea shaved ice and the rose earl grey milk tea. The shaved ice wasn't very special. I've had better matches flavored desserts. The tea was very bland and odd. The flavor sounded very pleasant but I know it's hard to make rose flavors work well in desserts. Unfortunately, this place did not do very well either... However, the atmosphere was nice and they had lots of games to play. It seems like it is a cool hangout place. read more

The hot tea was amazing! It comes out in the cutest tea pot ever. The honey toast is very beautiful but there's not enough honey, making it pretty dry. If they added more honey I would absolutely love it. Ended up eating the ice cream and leaving back most of the toast. The taro shaved ice was delicious! Loved it. The flavor was on point. The milk tea was also good, even delivered in a cute cup. Overall, the desserts are good. If you're in the area it's worth a drop by. It also helps that it's aesthetically pleasing ! read more

Came here on a Saturday. I was craving shaved ice and came across this place. It looked really dark from the outside and thought it was closed for a second but it wasn't. The people there are friendly. Once you enter they give your menu and everything looks amazing. Decided to go with something simple after having eaten a big meal before going there. They have a variety of things on the menu but I decided to go with the shaved ice. In the menu you choose a type of Snow, then a Snow sauce and the toppings. I had the Taro Snow with strawberry sauce and they let you choose two topping so I got the Taro balls and Boba. We also got the Mango Snow with condensed milk as the sauce with Taro balls. It is a big portion and I couldn't finish one by myself so if you don't eat much dessert I suggest you share it. There's other things like the toast with ice cream but those are definitely for 3+ people. I really recommend this place! So glad I came across this, definitely one of my to go dessert places now! Not a traditional tea room menu with sweet and savories that accompany a high tea, but wonderful decor and staff.

Great boba place in Duluth that has unique desserts! It is a sit down which is different from other tea houses. This place is located in a shopping plaza where other Asian foods and drinks are. Unique in its kind where I've never seen the type of ice cream/bread house dessert. I got the macaroon dessert which came with strawberry ice cream, vanilla ice cream, and green tea ice cream! After seeing the photos of the desserts at Snowflake on Instagram, I just had to try them out. I had passed this place many times before on my way to Iron Age and Sweet Hut, but never really gave it a try until now. And I'm glad I did! Since my fiance and I had just eaten dinner, we decided to go on the lighter side with hot tea and shaved ice. We got the jasmine rose tea which was served in a beautiful flowered tea set with a candle beneath to keep the tea warm on this cold day. It had a very sweet, flowery flavor which I enjoyed a lot. With the shaved ice, you get to choose a base, a syrupy, and two toppings. We chose mango with condensed milk and fresh mango pieces, topped with lycee and mochi. It was the perfect combination of flavors for us. Unless you have a pretty empty stomach, I'd recommend sharing this dish with someone as it comes in a good size dish. The atmosphere here is okay - not as busy and loud as Sweet Hut down the way, which was actually a nice change. The wait staff were very prompt and attentive to our needs. The only thing I wish were different is the size of the cups they provide for water...why have such small cups for water?? read more

3.5 stars. "Over the top" could describe half of the menu. Shaved ice was decent, but would prefer if you could order a smaller portion-I don't need $8 worth of it. The mochi on it was weird. I was looking for a place around the area to fill my sweet tooth. Finally found one!!! I got the snowflake original with condensed milk topped with taro ball, mochi and egg pudding. The husband ordered their Strawberry Lover Honey Toast. Both orders were definitely made to share! Four people could very well finish those two orders alone! As far as amount, very good for the price. The only downfall? I also ordered the taro black milk tea. It was a watered down tea with a very subtle hint of taro, if at that. Do NOT order their taro black milk tea. You've been warned. The service was okay. Nothing that stood out for me. When we first came through the door, the hostess was entertaining a slew of her friends by the counter, which I thought was very UNPROFESSIONAL. We were seated at the very back corner of the place, which I found odd because the place was less than half full. Debating whether we'll visit this establishment again. read more

I love the teas here and I think the pots and cups that they come in are so cute and pretty. I tried the rose earl grey tea with crystal jelly, rose green milk tea and wintermelon green tea; all served cold. I also got the rose lavender tea in a pot, served hot. They have a lot of toppings for the teas and each one is an additional 50¢ but that's still pretty cheap because a majority of their teas are $2.75-$3.50. If you drink a tea there, they come in a glass cup but for to-go, the tea comes in a typically plastic bubble tea cup. There are Jenga and cards that you can play while you are there. read more

Definitely coming back, for tea! The tea is nothing I have ever had before. I really came here today because I was feeling under the weather. I looked at their menu before hand and looked up the benefits of some of the teas I was interested in, and it sounded like something I could really benefit from. Next time I come I will bring more people with me just to order one of their gigantic desserts. I do not dare to attempt to eat one of those desserts by myself. This time I just got tea, that came in a pot for around $5. And I tried their mixed fruit crepe which was also around $5. I came around 1pm on a weekday and nobody at all was there, so it was ok to have the whole place to myself. Tea is very beneficial for the body and the teas they have are made out of real flower. What to expect: This is a fun dessert place to visit with your family and friends. They have a variety of delicious shaved ice, toast, boba tea, crepes, and ice cream. Pros: Free board games to play such as Jenga, Uno, and other cards games. Its located in the same shopping center as Sweet Hut and Coffee by Hands in Duluth, GA. Plenty of parking spaces. Cons: This place can get really loud inside (extremely loud) when they're busy. Your outside voice is equivalent to whispering; so everyone is pretty much just screaming at each other. The seating arrangement is not very efficient. What I ordered: 1. Strawberry Crepe (topped with vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup, and powdered sugar): it was cooked perfectly, crunchy on the outside and wasn't too sweet. I give an 8/10. 2. Pina Colada Yogurt Drink: I did like the taste of yogurt flavor but for me it was a little on the sweeter side. I give a 6/10. 3. Banana Split (it's hard to mess this up): it was well presented. I liked it 8/10. The Verdict: I'd love to come back here again but will definitely bring some ear plugs with me. read more

It was my first time visiting Snowflake yesterday afternoon and boy did I enjoy myself. This is a cute place where you can just chill and enjoy yourself something delightful. Whatever else they have going on is all well and fine, but that darn Honey Toast had me doing the Happy-Fat-Dance. What was that? Bread is all I can tell you, but it was topped with three different ice creams of our choice and macaroons of our choice, and marshmallows. That bread though! The bread that lay beneath all those goodies was maggie (as in magnificent). Four stars just based on that. Really. They have crepes that I saw, but didn't taste; however I need to get back to get at those asap. I saw so much that I'm interested in, like that sweet soup. They have an assortment of teas and shaved ice and just much else to be desired. I'm smitten! The service was good. It wasn't busy, so everything was great. Parking won't be a problem since it's in a strip mall. In closing, HONEY TOAST. Bye! read more

The only place I can get my creamy yogurt flavored shaved ice^_^ So this little dessert stop is just a couple of doors down from the sweet hut on pleasant hill. The parking lot is huge so no worries there and there hasn't been too much of a crowd the past couple of times I went so grabbing a seat shouldn't be a problem. When you come in, you are seated to a table where you'll order and you pay at the register. The decor is cute and fun. they have lot of seating available and little games you are your table can play together. The menu includes varieties of flavored shaved ice, crepes, ice creams, brick toast and boba teas. I mostly get the shaved ice (~$7), which is pretty big. enough for 2 or 3 to share but I usually finish it off myselflol the yogurt is my favorite but they also have other awesome flavors to try with lots of toppings to choose from. Pretty good dessert place. Everything was exceptional except the ice jelly type drink we got. It was strange for us, first time. I ordered green tea shaved ice with condensed milk with lychee fruit and mango fruit. My husband got the strawberry crepe which was very good. For me, Snowflake Tea House is like a long-distance BFF. I don't get to see her often, but when we get together, it's all rainbows and sunshine, in edible form. I've gotten the Taiwanese shaved ice/snow ($7) here and a bubble tea. The snow portion was extremely generous so sharing with a pal might be your best bet, especially if you stuff yourself with dinner at a nearby restaurant beforehand. I tried the taro option, rounding off the whole shebang with my selections of condensed milk, mango popping boba, grass jelly. Never fear if those don't strike your fancy; you can get other toppings and sauces. I'd never tried mango popping boba, so it was very reminiscent of eating salmon roe, but there's tropical juice inside instead of eggy fish stuff. Fun and yum! The snow was great, with endless strips of creamy ice. Very tasty. Unlike some other places, you don't seem to be able to select a level of sweetness for teas. Or if they do, I wasn't asked. Luckily they aren't too heavy-handed here as the default. The Tea House offers plenty of tea choices: black, green, hot, cold, fruity, etc. I got a regular-sized iced passionfruit black milk tea with boba that was delightful. Snowflake didn't skip on the boba either, hooray. They were perfectly chewy and not too sugary, yep. My tea was $2.75 with boba costing an extra 50¢. I've heard compliments about the crepes, and the toasts look mad scientist-like. I'll have to try one sometime, if I can escape the lure of the snow. Family-friendly Snowflake also offers table service. They have a bunch of board games to play if you're into that sort of thing. The young employees seemed upbeat and were cordial. Parking in the large strip mall is pretty ample. Until we meet again, Snowflake! read more

I really love this place! The location is great (it's located next to other dessert spots, hot pot restaurants, noodles, BBQ, etc.) So my friends and I come here often. Parking may be a little hard since it's a public lot and the stores here are all so popular. I come at off hours so it's good at those times. I've tried the snow desserts, honey brick toasts, and boba drinks here and I honestly can't choose a favorite. I would pick depending on how hungry you are because these desserts are typically pretty sharable. read more

Snowflake Tea House = A marvelous, unforgettable wet dream manifested into dessert form. Their sweet treats often consist of heavenly apple-bottom shaped ice cream booties, seductively curvy carb-filled busts, and decadently drizzled syrups like a sexy woman's beautiful, wavy hair. I love wavy hair. Like, I think it's in my man DNA. Yeah... So let your inner kinky, sweet tooth monster out of the closet (R. Kelly voice) and prepare to feel and become incredibly dirty (figuratively, of course). This is Eyes Wide Shut Part Deux, baby. Things to know: ***** I. LOCATION & PARKING Snowflake Tea House resides in the same strip mall as 89 Hot Pot and Sweet Hut. If you're using Google Maps, it's easy to find. Also, since you're in the burbs, you're likely find free parking easily available. Asians, with their Toyota Camry's and Honda Accords and all, may fill the nearest spots on the weekends, so you may have to walk a bit. That's, I think, the worst case scenario. II. DRANKS & DESSERT Sure they have smoothies, flavored teas, and even healthy yogurt-based drinks (lol), but it's all about the desserts. Do you want a macaroon on top of top a bunch of orgasmic ice cream penetrated with green tea Pocky sticks all embedded in several mattress layers of exotic Asian toast lathered with a waterfall of big, black, and beautiful... sugar? In other words, have you ever considered eating your way to Type II Diabetes in one sitting? The answer is yes. Like, do it now. For my sugar rush, my crew and I tackled two delectable works of art: a plate of chocolate ribboned shaved ice accompanied by lychee gummies and strawberries and the Sno-Flake Tower. *Shaved Ice: The chocolate ribboned shaved ice was pretty fantastic. Not too sweet. Very cold. The chocolate was pretty good (could've had a deeper chocolaty flavor), but I ain't really complaining. As for the strawberries and lychee, they were aight. *Snow-Flake Tower: I started laughing maniacally when I saw this gargantuan... babe. And then I started crying, back to laughing again, and then maybe touched my nipples. No, I DID TOUCH MY NIPPLES. The piece's foundation unevenly and beautifully sat on three slices of one-inch-ish thick toast (that's what she said), and it held two scoops of ice cream: green tea and red bean. Then, to tie everything together, they dumped white chocolate lava all over with strawberry and chocolate syrups followed with a pinch of sprinkles, slices of kiwi and strawberries. Like, holy mother, this is ridiculous. But then, you take your knife and cut into this mutha******* and there's MORE ICE CREAM INSIDE. And then you take your fork and whip all of this stuff together and you enter carb-bliss. It's messy. You'll get some on your shirt. You'll lose a sock. It's like your first-ever one night stand, but it's not with that sorority girl named Jill who didn't recognize you at the dorm cafeteria the next day because both of you were so drizzunk and it was super dark. OH MY GOD, ARE YOU STILL READING THIS REVIEW? WHY? Lol. Just get this magnificent dessert. III. SERVICE This is not indicative to a typical experience, because we came in a half hour before closing, but they were nice and put up with my obnoxious screams of "Oh my God. Oh my God. This is amazing. Muahahahhaa. Hold me." I'm paraphrasing. IV. AMBIENCE & DÉCOR I think it's pretty nice inside. There are several plush booths. The chairs are sturdy. It's clean. I have no complaints. But then again, as a child, I didn't mind sitting on the floor of my dad's 1985 Toyota Van. V. PRICES $7 for the shaved ice. $12 for the Sno-Flake Tower. Like, how is this transcendental experience of dangerously ingesting copious amounts of sugar in a short amount of time not worth it? Like, HOW? VI. OVERALL Pretty incredible one-night stand dessert experience, if you go with a toast option. (At least, do it for the 'gram.) Definitely a favorite, when I find myself trying to feel dirty after a naked day getting purified at Jeju Spa (also in Duluth). Because being dirty is like the new ramen. Does that make sense? Nope. Will go for a jog later... read more

I'm not going to lie, Snowflake Tea House has been on my list of places to try for quite a while and on a recent dinner in Duluth, I decided to take advantage of this opportunity and convinced my companions we should all go to Snowflake for dessert! So many of my friends have been there, it seems, and they keep taunting me with all these gorgeous pictures of shaved ice in ribbons and iced milk tea pictures in funky cool glasses. We arrived around 9pm on a Saturday. What a mistake! The entire place was packed and looked like a madhouse. There's also not really a system in place here. There's a waitlist for tables, but no hostess stand or anyone permanently positioned to handle the incoming guests and waitlist, causing even more chaos. I really have to give it to the staff here though--although unorganized, they were very anxious and determined to keep their customers. We were assured our wait for 8 would be about ten minutes, and during this time, the staff of all ladies proceeded to move tables, shift chairs, and strategically arrange their seating to accommodate us. Half of our group were given a table, then the other half were left still waiting, until within 2 minutes, another lady wiped off a much larger table to seat all of us. I have no idea how they were able to clean tables so quickly, but without a doubt, there's a lot of hard work going on here. I guess I should reemphasize at this point that Snowflake is a tea house and not a traditional bakery, so they will be full service from start to finish--don't just walk in and grab an empty seat! On to dessert! We ordered a variety of desserts for the table to share: Taro shaved ice with condensed milk, egg custard, and grass jelly; sweet milk toast, and a mixed fruit crepe with green tea ice cream. The table's favorite was of course, the shaved ice. Pair with condensed milk, the shaved ice ribbon blends very well and is so superbly excellent! I'm now convinced ribbons are the only way you should eat shaved ice. Their flavors here are very robust and delicious! We enjoyed the taro flavor in the shaved ice and the green tea ice cream in the crepe. A few at the table also ordered barley milk tea, and I tried the warm one--very good! This place is super cute and has all the great offerings of an awesome Asian dessert place. We truly enjoyed our experience here and I can't wait to come back! read more

I'd been meaning to get to Snow Flake Tea House forever, so when me and a friend finished a quick park walk, we headed on over to Snow Flake, which is to the right of Sweet Hut on Pleasant Hill. We came in around mid day, and surprisingly it was pretty empty, with only one other table being occupied. One of the things I wasn't a fan of was the menu had very few pictures in it, making it hard to order, unless you have someone with you who has been here before (luckily, I did)! Flavored snow was what we settled on (flavored mango snow ($6.95)), which comes with two toppings, including: boba Mango popping boba Red bean Various fresh fruit (strawberry, mango, banana, Lychee, etc) Mochi several others and two snow sauces, including: Condensed Milk Brown sugar sauce Creamy Caramel Chocolate sauce Strawberry syrup White chocolate sauce Some have compared Snowflake to Suno, but I disagree. The Flavored snow had the consistency of ice cream, although somewhat lighter/less milky/creamy. The Flavored snow is really pretty to look at, and there's a lot of it (easily enough for two people to share), but where Snowflake earned their 3 stars from was mainly due to presentation being greater than delivery. It just tasted like I was eating a bowl of ice cream. Certainly the mochi and fresh strawberry toppings we ordered were fresh and tasty, but it was just ice cream to me. Admittedly, Snowflake sells a ton more than shaved ice, including Hot milk bubble tea (which I'd love to try), but I didn't leave the store saying I HAVE to come back. Hopefully when I come back they'll earn that extra star or two, but for now it's just an okay experience with okay flavor for me. read more
