Yesterday we had to work on location in peachtree corners so my boss asked me to find a place we could order out from for dinner. We needed to feed 150 people and they wanted wings. So I found this place less than a mile away. I called them around 1pm and asked for an order for pick up by 8:30pm. We ordered 300 dry lemon pepper wings, 200 mild wings, 150 fried shrimp, a whole pan of fries and a whole pan of rice. We came in and paid after we ordered and everything was ready by the time my boss went back to pick up the food. I just want to say the woman who took the order was very pleasant and my boss was very happy with the service when she went to pick up the place. The facility was very clean and the food was fresh. They even gave us a good discount for such a big order. All the food was well seasoned and the wings were a nice, big and crispy. The shrimp was fried perfectly and didn't have a greasy after taste in fact the tasted buttery and delicious. The rice was fresh and tasty and they even gave us a big tray of celery and all the condiments we could handle. My boss ordered a Turkey burger while she waited for everything to be boxed up which she thought was spot on as well. Sometimes when we put in big orders at other places they give us teeny tiny wings and hardly ever give us free veggies or a discounted rate so I really enjoyed this interaction and if we are ever back in the area we will definitely order again. read more

We have ordered delivery from here since we moved to Atlanta. The wings are always good and there sauces are good too. The hot is HOT, the medium is Hot and the mild is hot. We like hot stuff but the hot is almost too spicy to eat for us. My kids like the teriyaki for their wings. Don't get the fries delivered... like most they arrive soft and mushy even with ordered extra crispy. This place has been in business for at least 18 years, and that's for good reason. I haven't been here since 2010 when I moved away. I went yesterday and was expecting to be disappointed, but I wasn't! The wing flavors are amazing. Yummy deliciousness. I will warn you though, if you're spice sensitive (in other words, you cry when you eat hot food), get the mild if you're looking for traditional Buffalo sauce, because the mild ain't no punk (can i say that? Or is that now a banned word too), the medium is Deebo level heat, and the hot is Satan level-you're going to be sitting and crying on the toilet-level heat. My favorite flavors are mild, garlic parmesan (their garlic parm is the REAL DEAL), and lemon pepper. Don't forget your peach drink! If I recall correctly, their sweet tea was fiyah too. Like my grandma was back there in the kitchen, making it with just the right amount of southern sweetness. Their fries are standard but tasty. Always hot. And I like that they provide different kinds of seasoning for your fries. I'm a simple girl, so just a sprinkle of seasoned salt and a side of blue cheese will do me good. The guy working last night was super nice, friendly, and provided excellent service. I think he has been working here since I used to frequent this place in the 2000 oughts. I was pleasantly surprised I must say. Growing up in the Chicago area, food is very important and rib tips even more so. I was encouraged to get the rib tips and I was not disappointed. Although they were different from what I was use to, they were pretty good. I would certainly get them again and may have them cooked a little longer so that the skin is chewy. The peach drink is epic. I was so happy they had, like a jumbo size. Medium sauce on the tips and crispy fries. Going back to today. I have been coming to Prime Wings since 2019. Today I went and ordered the shrimp fried rice and it had no flavor at all. I mean none. I ordered 6 honey garlic wings, and the sauce was thick like BBQ sauce and just a little lighter than the color of BBQ sauce and thick. It was swimming in the sauce like I ordered BBQ Chicken that had been in a crock pot and was spooned up and put in the container. I am very disappointed. Wow...my family been eating here for almost 20 yrs now. Today was not good experience at all. I know the changed owners, but its hard to mess up wings in Atl. I ordered 20 "garlic parm" to go for my family and 10 medium for me. I get home from a long day and the first bite I had a stunned look on my face as to which my wife said who made these salty azz wings. This review has no barring on the restaurant as a whole. I have eaten here plenty of times and have never had any problem with the food. But a new girl started working up there and she is not very polite. More interested in her phone then being a good hostess. My last visit I called in an order and I was not greeted. Just a "what do you want". Then before I could ask how long the food would take or the price she hung up on me. After getting there and paying for my food I waited and then she brought it out to me but she didn't hand it to me she just dropped it on her side of the counter. Prime Wings used to be the spot for my crew to get the best wings in Norcross over the last 5 years...they used to be cooked to perfection! Sometimes we would go every other day because we craved their wings. HOWEVER, over the last several months they must have hired another cook because their wings are TRASH now. One of my coworkers ordered the Ranch wings and whoever cooked them put salt all over them instead of Ranch seasoning. My company ordered 150 assorted wings a few months ago for an event and they were hard, rubbery and not flavorful. The one star is for the decent fries and wings. First off, I've never been to this establishment, but was in the mood for some wings (which I probably didn't need in the first place). Upon entering, I was greeted and the lady seemed friendly as I asked her about the variety of sauces for the wings. So I placed my order, which was: 8 piece combo, crispy, all flats (yep I'm one of these ppl), mild w/lemon pepper sprinkles. A side of fries and drink is included. My total was 8.96. The lady proceeded to hand me a cup so that I can get my drink. After seeing the options, I tasted the homemade sweet tea, then opted for the Hi-C Pink Lemonade (which I filled halfway b/c I knew I didn't need to be drinking that stuff). I then noticed that there was a side machine full of pop (sodas) and some other options. I immediately asked her what was the up-charge for one of those options. The lady then stated that's it's the same as the drink I was given (empty cup for beverage dispenser thingy). She then told me that I could NOT change to get the other drink instead. I stated to her that it was my first time here and did not know that I had the option of the fridge drinks b/c she immediately gave me a cup. Anywho, we went back and forth for a little minute, but she clearly had her mind made up and I behaved myself. Didn't make any sense. I'm sure they have free refills so it would have been the same as me having 2 drinks out of the beverage dispenser thingy. And I asked for crispy, dry wings and received them wet (I mean sitting in hella sauce wet). I won't be visiting this establishment again. Great Spot for Wings and Fries(: It's a pretty small establishment but they get a LOT of business. thankfully we came right before the rush because by the time we got our food, there was a line of people waiting to order and all the tables were already taken O_Olol You get nice big juicy wings with a huge load of fries so you really get bang for your buck here. The fries are golden hot and crisp when you get it and the wings are amazing. I got the teriyaki and garlic parmesean. a bit of a warning, they do put a lot of parmesean on it, but that's great if that's what you're looking for!! Service was pretty fast considering the amount of traffic they had. As for the atmosphere of the place, you get the basic wing stop ambiance. There's a counter where you go up to order and you wait for them to call your name when it's ready. Simple and sweet. I'm sad to update my Prime Wings review from a 5 stars to 3 stars... When the Lees owned this establishment quality was never compromised. It was as consistent as consistent is. I used to come here all the time with friends and it's become our go to local wing spot for many years. Even after the ownership changed I still continued to come because I couldn't stay away from the lemon pepper wings. They added some new employees and they've always been polite and provided good customer service. Unfortunately though quality of food has gone down...particularly the size of the chicken wings. The chicken wings were so tiny. I mean it was tiny tiny and not meaty at all. The recent wings order was literally the size of my ring and pinky fingers. What a bummer! What happened? Also, they charge extra for bleu cheese or ranch. The past two times I've paid for an extra sauce. One time I did not even receive it and didn't realize it until I got home and the other time the ranch sauce paper lid was partially open and the dressing was coming out. Luckily the flavor of the Philly Cheese still tastes the same and has the same protein to onions to mushroom to cheese ratio. Hopefully they get their regular sized wings back. I ordered 50 Lemon pepper wet, 25 honey bbq, 25 hot, 25 mild, 25 teriyaki crispy extra sauce boy did they deliver WOW, wings were GREAT! Joe, provided me with free pan of fries very crispy and fresh, and a free pan of vegetable fried rice delicious moist rice was cooked to perfection did I mention it was free ! I am a regular to Prime Wings. After having ordered hot wings for a while, I decided to try their garlic Parmesan wings on lunch menu. The wings were awfully salty which is beyond my endurance to any typical salty food. With a closer look at the wings, they were FULLY coated with salt crystals. I presented the wings to the Spanish lady who runs this place and she confronted me pretty good: "that's how the garlic Parmesan wings are, they are very very salty!" Well, what else can I say? I threw away the wings and walked out. It is very sad to scratch off this place from my list of favorite. I probably won't recommend this place to my coworker and friends any more.
