My experience here was pretty good. The staff was polite and helpful and the food was well worth the price which something I don't often say. The taste the temperature and appearance of both the wings and rice were desirable. My table was clean as well. I'd make one small suggestion- I think more work could be done to improve the appearance of the building interior at least for a better customer setting and advertising. read more

I order hot lemon pepper & spicy BBQ with a large fry {extra crispy} The wings were definitely spicy, typically when you request hot wings they aren't hot, but these were! Now, I've been to my fair share of "wing joints" and the fries are always bland, taste like old cooking oil, or just a pile of seasoning salt, but the fries here were very tasty. Don't know how they achieved the flavor, but keep doing it. I live relatively close so I will for sure be back. Glad I finally found a good wing place. read more

Cafe J is frequented by the residents of Norcross (on the east side of 85). Great place to go when you're in a large group and everyone's hungry. The wings come in a larger quantity here because they are definitely of the smaller size, but you could probably be full after eating between 10 and 15. You can get tons of food for under 10 bucks a person. My advice: Go for the lemon pepper! It's super flavorful and savory. read more

Awful! I went there today and ordered a #7: Whiting and wings combo, shrimp fried rice and a 20 piece hot wings. Let's start with the dry rice with the gross looking eggs. Most awful dish I have ever had. The whiting was half crispy and half soggy--didn't taste good at all. The fries were FULL of salt and dark (yuk!). Lemon pepper wings had some strange liquid under them that negated any crispiness requested. I have not eaten here in years and I see why. I will not be going back. I called to let the manager know I was not pleased, in particular with the rice. She never offered to do anything about it and instead tried to defend the person that cooked the rice. The fries where undercooked and the food was not fresh. The Owner said she would give me a credit for the fries upon return she denied that she told me that. As a customer for years here I felt so disrespected and disappointed as the Owner was very RUDE when my order was ready. The second go round she threw the bag on the table and a order of my fries fell out on the table I grabbed the bag and walked away to keep from getting into a confrontation. The food has not been good the last few times I've visited but as a loyal customer I kept trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. We have been coming here for over two years and it looks like they've gone down hill. Tonight the waitress we normally have wasn't there and some lady come over and slapped down menus without taking our drink order. She looked busy and went to go check out some people with togo orders. Owner/cashier was rude and ripped me off. Me and my wife ordered our food and were going to share a cup to drink. This lady really charged us extra just for sharing a cup. Unbelievable lol. I went to the restroom when she told my wife it would be extra for sharing a cup, but if i was there i definitely would have left. Food was ok, the wings were superrrr small.
