Recently, I've been here with my fiance twice and enjoyed the food and great value this place provides. My favorite wings in the Atlanta area so far have been from Food to Go in Clarkston, but this place is closer to me right now, so it's gonna be my go-to for awhile. The service has been consistently good and food has been pretty tasty and affordable. The first time we ordered out, my love got the cheeseburger combo with fries and honey BBQ wings. I got the gyro combo with fries and lemon pepper wings. Believe it or not, even after living in Chicago for two and a half years, this was my first time trying a gyro. I guess I was too hung up on my Italian beef, Chicago dogs, deep dish pizza, and other regional treats that I didn't get around to it at the time. That being said, it was also my first time trying lemon pepper wings, despite all the rage for the past few years. We definitely enjoyed everything for the most part. My fiance preferred the Carolina BBQ wings from Food to Go instead of Discover Wings' honey BBQ ones, but I still thought they were pretty tasty. I'm not even big on BBQ wings normally, cuz I've mostly had the frozen variety from the store, and the sauce usually tastes way too processed. These from DW's were nice. The cheeseburger seemed only slightly above average, but definitely good for the price. At least it wasn't dry and had a good amount of veggies. It's no Five Guys or BurgerFi burger, but you're also not paying their prices here. I really enjoyed my gyro and lemon pepper wings also. My only complaint was that I would've preferred more tzatziki on the gyro as I'm a big sauce person. I think they incorrectly gave me the butter lemon pepper wings too, instead of the plain ones I ordered. However, the mistake was a good one, as I now have learned the butter ones are better. (Common sense though right? Everything is better with butter!) On our second trip, I ordered the Philly cheesesteak and lemon pepper wings again. This turns out to be another dish that Food to Go really nails when it comes to portion and flavor, but again, it's out of my way. Overall, I thought it was a pretty tasty sandwich, and both trips we made were great for the value and price they offer. My only complaint on the second trip was they shorted me a wing on my six piece combo, but no biggie. As long as they don't make it a habit! ;-) lol. It's important to note the wings are kind of small- at least the wings that come with the combos. I could easily knock out more than six next time, but it was good for the combo deal. I will say the prices are excellent compared to most of their competitors, especially if you're ordering just wings. I also like that you can order all flats or drums to suit your preference (for a small fee, I think under a dollar). More places should offer that, cuz I definitely love my flats. So far we've only ordered take out, but it was nice that they had a cable TV up for the customers in the dining area as well. We got to watch part of a crime show while waiting for our goodies (always a plus). It seems like a cozy little joint to hang out at and eat, if it's not too busy. My fiance pointed out that if the parking lot was better lit, it would be even more inviting. Overall, both experiences were great and I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a cheap, filling meal in the area. read more

This place is a hidden gem -- hands down the best chicken wings in town. My go-to flavors are the classic buffalo and honey lemon pepper. This time, we switched it up and tried the buffalo sub and the Philly cheesesteak with fries. The chicken in the buffalo sub was tender, juicy, and coated in that hot sauce. The Philly cheesesteak was a solid 10/10 -- rich, cheesy, and packed with flavor. The fries were seasoned with Cajun spice. Had combo of lemon pepper wings and shrimp fried rice as part of a larger office order. I've eaten here once before, and the food was alright. Tried it again today and the fried rice and the wings both tasted like they were leftovers from yesterday. The rice was gummy and dry and the chicken was not fresh at all. I ordered hot lemon pepper, and they were laying in some sort of lemon pepper liquid that made the wings soggy. Maybe they needed to be hydrated cuz parts were soggy and parts were crunchy...smh!! Sad, I gave up almost 15 bucks for an unappealing lunch. I didn't even eat all 10 wings, and I never met a wing I didn't care for until today!!! I would not recommend!!! read more

This place is bomb and one of my local go to's. They always have a special and their wings are really good. My favorite combo is the 6 pc wings with a burger or a philly with a side of fries and a drink for $15. I always get the burger. in my humble opinion, they have one of the best burgers I have had out in a while. It just taste soo... like its own lane. Crispy on the outside, while tender on moist on the outside. Packed with umami and savory goodness. I went with the garlic pepper. Finger lickin good. It takes about 20 mins to get your wings done. That's because, they cook em on demand. Because of the crowd, you be sure you get a fresh batch. None of that fried, then refried bs you see from other places. Not many stay and eat (usually to-go), but you're more than welcome to stay. Unfortunately, I wasn't too hungry and got wings with fried rice. I love eating hot and lemon pepper wings. So that's why I exactly got. The wings were good size. The flavors are really good. I'm happy that my wings were wet, but not soggy. The fried rice could've used a little bit more seasoning, but still great fried rice!! They give a lot. Half way through, I was really full. Very tasty with reasonable price. If they don't pick up the phone, just go to store and place order. I was there on Friday night and this place was so busy. However only one man was handling everything(taking order in-store&phone, packing food)and i saw him not picking up the phone call for 20mins. FYI i got hot(to me and my husband it was mild)&lemon pepper & honey mustard wings and vegi friedrice. Everything was tasty but my husband ordered spicy honey mustard but we got regular honey mustard. At least we got some side hot sauce so it was fine. It was close to closing time, but the staff was very accommodating and friendly. I chose the buffalo style hot wings with fries and green beans. Meal was served in a Styrofoam container (I think they thought I was taking it to go, but I ate in) but had everything I wanted. Wings are on the smaller side, as other reviewers have mentioned, but they were cooked perfectly with a crispy exterior and moist on the inside. The buffalo sauce they used was hot, but not overly so (still had plenty of good sweat on my brow). Crinkle cut fries were plentiful, and spot on with a dusting of some kind of season salt that gave them a zippy flavor. I highly recommend this place! It's very unassuming and you could easily mistake it for your typical run-of-the-mill average wing joints, but you would be wrong. The owner has created a few toss sauces that are incredibly tasty. Case in point --- the Honey Garlic Pepper. If you placed that sauce on anything, it would make it worth eating. I could eat a car fender with a bucket of this sauce. What is particularly special about this place is how great they made me feel as a first time visitor. He allowed me to sample several different flavors of wings before I placed my order. Truth be told, I was almost full from the 5 or 6 wings he gave me to try. I was so impressed I decided to order a single piece of catfish to go along with my wing order and it was HUGE. Overall, the catfish was juicy and perfectly cooked, but if I were to make any suggestions it would be to change the frying oil more often. While the catfish had GREAT flavor, it was somewhat masked by the slight taste of old oil. The French Fries are your average frozen crinkle cut variety, but tasted a lot better drizzled with the honey garlic pepper sauce. mmmmmm! Come here, you won't be disappointed. SIDE NOTE: I feel bad for this business because several wonderful reviews have been filtered. I found out about this place while visiting Carmax. You couldn't help but notice the amazing smell as about 9 service department employees arrived with their lunch. Smelled sooooo good I had to ask where they got their food. Tonight was our monthly book club meeting. The hostess for tonight had me pick up 100 wings all Garlic pepper! I argued her down about mixing it up with at least four different flavors. Three stars partly for the flavor, although I ordered spicy bbq, it seemed just like bbq. And although I ordered hot, it seemed like their most mild option. So I wonder what the very mild would of tasted like. I saw good reviews for the place but didn't realize they were really outdated. I usually don't mind wing size either but man I felt like I received extra baby baby wings that were just reheated for be sold. My fries were really soggy. I discovered Discover (hahaha...I entertain my own self). Food here tastes pretty good. They have a good selection of flavors, which are all good. Pricing is comparable to other wing places. I enjoy the philly cheese. Haven't tried the chicken one, but the steak one is pretty good. I like that it is closer to a foot long rather than just a six inch. As others have noted, the wings are smallish. They taste good though. Each time, my food seems fresh and just cooked. I hate that they won't answer the phone when they are busy. This is problematic in my opinion. I want to call my order in so I won't have to sit there and wait for it to be cooked. They have lost my business several times for this reason. When they won't answer, I call another who will. I fear that one day, I'll stop wasting the time to call to see if there will be an answer and just deal with any one of a billion other wing places. This is a recently new place so I thought I'd try it out. The chicken wings AMAZING! These are the best wings in town. You really can't find many good wing places in the Gwinnett area (esp. climbing up I-85) They have tons of different wing flavors, but my favorite are Hot, Lemon Pepper, and Hot Teriyaki. They also have lots of different foods (burgers, philly subs, salads, etc) I haven't tried them yet. The Hot wing sauce isn't dry and sparse like most places have it, and the lemon pepper is crispy and flavorful. Actually, ALL their wings are extremely flavorful and a good size. They're not tiny, but not so massive to the point where you're eating chicken and no sauce... ^_^ Yum!! The place is really clean for a wing restaurant and the decor is okay. A disappointment. Because they do take out only your fries come to you under done and soggy. Husband got teriyaki wings and he liked the taste of them but the wings were tiny. The big disappointment was my chicken tenders. At first i assumed i got some one elses order but the pieces of shrapnel in my take out box did have the seasoning i ordered. While they were plentiful my tenders were over cooked dried out pieces of what i can only assume were the dregs at the bottom of the tender bag! It was inedible! The only reason im giving 2 stars is because my husband said the wings were flavorful. We wont be back for sure. Discover Wings is located on the Intersection of Indian Trail Road and Tech Drive. It is owned by Asians, but the owner is rarely there. This place is spotless and very modern looking. They have a variety of items including wings, philly subs, and rice dishes. Prices are reasonable, and the portion is great. I usually order the mild wings, and my bf always get the lemon pepper. Both flavors are amazing. I heard the Cajun and Hot Teriyaki is pretty good. I will make sure I try that out next time and update my review. Ended up here because of yelp reviews. I was all ready to check in at another wings place down the street. Then saw the rating and reviews on this place and decided I should check it out. So far I'm certain I made a good decision. Clean restaurants, good service, nice prices. I love that the walls aren't plastered with those stock signs of food they didn't make like most wing spots. Also while I wait I'm listening to paradise city by guns and roses, which is a bonus! I got the lemon pepper wings and fries. They were awesome! Fries were done right. This is my new favorite place in Atlanta for wings! And it's cheap too. There's such a variety of flavors. I tried the following: Cajun, Medium, Garlic Pepper, Lemon pepper, Caribbean. Every single one was really good. The wings are small and dry (except for the medium). But they're fried to perfection. The flavor somehow gets into the meat. And the fries are fried well too! I've never left here without be stuffed silly and feeling super heavy. That means it was a wonderful meal at Discover Wings. There's way too many flavors to try...but you can be assured that they'll be good. So be adventurous, pick some "out there" flavors, and find your taste buds mesmerized at what they behold. Everyone has their own opinion on what makes a good wing. The wings I want must be plump, tender, and juicy. The wings I had here were small, hard, and dry. The saving grace was that they weren't awful wings. I ate all of them and I've had much worse. If anything, they tasted much like McDonald's chicken nuggets. I ordered the Honey Garlic Pepper 10pc. Been here twice and although the place is shabby they have some pretty good food. They carry a variety of fish, wings, gyros, and more. The first time I got wings and I was disappointed by the size of the wings but they were still yummy. They also have such a large variety of wing flavors. The second time I got a gyro and it was yummy and large. Both time I ordered side or french fries and they do give you a good quantity. The service is friendly as well. No complaints there.
