    Chocolate Hazelnut Cake
    Christy L.

Scroll down for a TLDR version. Went here at night for some late night sweets with a friend. She ordered a chocolate hazelnut cake and I ordered a nespresso coffee and a honey butter croissant. This is a rather grab and go place with a table located right by the entrance and one near the end of the shop so I don't have much to say about decor. Staff was friendly but it seemed like there was some confusion on the nespresso coffee. Behind the counter you could see various coffee pods but the staff said there was only one flavour they had so perhaps the coffee pods in the back were empty just for decoration? In addition, there was nothing on the menu that indicated the coffee was going to be a cold drink but it was served as an iced coffee. Regardless I know people don't come to this place for coffee so I understand that may not be their forté and I'm being slightly harsh. Alright, now time for the star of the show. If you're Chinese, you know the best compliment for dessert is "not too sweet" and that was exactly what this chocolate hazelnut cake was. The cake was fluffy, moist and had rich chocolate and hazelnut flavour. The best part was it actually had bits of hazelnuts in the cake which added a delightful texture and extra nuttiness. The croissant was good as well. It was flakey, buttery and I really liked the honey butter flavour. I would definitely come back again to try more cake and croissants from Snow Tea. TLDR: More of a grab a go place, flaky croissant, moist cake and rich chocolate flavour for the cake !! Would come back to try more goods.

Came here late Sunday evening to try the croissants. As to be expected, there wasn't much of a selection left so I got the earl grey, matcha, custard and coffee croissants. If you purchase 5 croissants, you get one free. I have a mixed review of the croissants. Overall, they were way too buttery. The butter flavour was just overwhelming. The fillings of the custard and matcha croissants were still decent. However the early grey croissants were a bit sour and I did not enjoy them. Overall, I was pretty disappointed. Great presentation for sure, but the flavours were off.

We came after having lunch in the same plaza. It's a small shop with several tables and cute decorations spread throughout. There's a display case with prepared desserts such as crepe cakes and regular cakes. It wasn't busy at all. Only a couple other customers came in the whole time we were there. My friend got a matcha beverage and I got to try some. It tasted like milk tea with a hint of matcha. She also mentioned that the tapioca pearls were undercooked.

Staff are super friendly and easy going. Had a variety of drinks and baked goods before. I cannot recommend the breads as they weren't the best in my opinion. The cakes and drinks however are a different story. The Mille crepes are really well done. The tiramisu and Durian version are tasty. They have other flavours as well but haven't had a chance to try them yet. It's your typical Tea and cake shop. Nice atmosphere and a great place to relax if you need a place to chat.

Went to snow time for dessert and it was delicious. I love sweet mango and the dessert was just that. They have a takeout option but I find these cold desserts are best consumed when fresh. I also tried the tiramisu one but it wasn't as good. It's more bitter and has a strong cocoa taste. They sold out of matcha but that sounds delicious. They have a few tables for dine in and the parking lot isn't the biggest but there's more spots behind the buildings.

The staff here is super nice. The decor and atmosphere is nice. The variety of baked goods was a nice selection compared to chatime and other bubble tea places. The bubble tea is selection was limited. And it was not clear about if you can upgrade the size or not. And when I asked the staff apparently only some drinks can be upgraded in size. I ordered a brulee bobo tea and a purple taro dirty. For drinks that cost $6.49 for a small I feel is very over priced as the flavour did not impress me. I probably wouldn't come back to this place unless they had lowered their price or had a promotion.

As a disclaimer, I'll start this review by mentioning that I came to Snow Tea today because I won a giveaway via Instagram that included four breads, four cakes, and four drinks (i.e. four sets, for myself and three friends). However, this review does reflect my honest opinion and is in no way biased because it was free. The three friends I brought with me were my family! I thought the four of us could enjoy this unique experience together as I've never really attended a "tasting" and this place was new to all of us. We walked into the shop around 12 pm, right when they opened. We were the first ones it seemed. The employee came to the register immediately, ready to take our order. Both of the employees working were quite soft-spoken, but despite knowing that I was here for "free food", they didn't treat me any differently. The staff were very patient and friendly, ensuring we had a great experience. We ended up ordering the following: BREAD - Spicy crawfish bread - Cranberry cheese bread - Original milkshake bread - Extreme chocolate bread (take-out) DRINKS - Extreme mixed fruits - Rose oolong cheese - Matcha Bobo tea - Oreo Bobo tea CAKES - Black sesame - Chocolate hazelnut (take-out) - Oreo crepe (take-out) - Strawberry cassida crepe (take-out) As mentioned, we had quite a few items for takeout as the four of us were unable to finish everything! They packed things up nicely for us without hesitation. Speaking about the bread first, I was pleasantly surprised! The spicy crayfish bread had quite a bit of heat to it and reminded me of curry beef buns. Not to mention, I love the presentation! The cranberry cheese bread was better than expected, loved the cream cheese! The original milk bread wasn't my all time favorite, but it was so soft since we got it freshly baked. All the drinks were delicious! The highlight was that we didn't ask for sugar adjustments, yet they were perfectly sweet, unlike other boba shops that add loads of sugars in their drinks. This meant that we could taste all the flavors of their tea bases. Lastly, the black sesame crepe cake, something I would return for! The flavor was oh-so-rich in black sesame while being not too sweet. Overall, Snow Tea serves up elevated food and drink items. Slightly on the pricier side but you do get what you pay for. They use fresh and premium ingredients, the shop is super aesthetic, and staff are very nice and knowledgeable about their products.

This place is amazing, love their crepe cakes especially the durian one. Delicious, not too sweet, really light and airy with layers of durian flesh/cream. Smell is not as pungent and overwhelming imo since I love durian. Their early grey crepe and salted caramel crepes are also pretty popular and are just as delicious.

    Hazelnut Chocolate cake

Got the Hazelnut Chocolate cake. It had the right amount of sweetness and the cream was light. It had a good balance of hazelnut and chocolate flavour. It also had lots of small pieces of hazelnuts in the cream. Would definitely recommend this cake. The place is more of a grab since the store is small and there's only 2 small tables.

Had their durian mille feuille and really enjoyed it! Lovely ambiance and somewhat instagram-worthy with the marble tables and dainty cutlery. I want to try their other baked goods later

Slightly over priced drinks but it was good! Didn't know what to get but we needed to kill time so just picked a random drink. It wasn't too sweet and it just hit the spot. Interior was really cute and there's also a bakery there. While we were inside they were baking something and it smelt really really good. I didn't get a chance to try any bakery items tho :( I got the brown rice greentea + cheese foam. It was good!

Left is black sesame and right is purple taro

Hi Yelpers! Back at it again in this area! So after an al you can eat Korean bbq... one must have a dessert. I remember of Snow Tea and their crepes. Hence, crepes it is for dessert! Purchased a "extreme black sesame crepe" and an "extreme purple taro crepe." First, let's tak about the taro flavoured crepe. It was deliciously light in flavour and soft in texture. Really melts in your mouth. Not too sweet. It is legit stacks of crepe with the "paste" or "some time of "cream" bonding each layer of crepe. The second choice was my personal favourite because I love black sesame flavour. The flavour was strong just the way I like it. It also melted in my mouth. Delicious as bleep. However, I did notice the base of this crepe to be a plain thin cake. Maybe the black sesame can't hold its own weight? Other than that... delicious! I will def come back again to try durian flavour. However, what boggles my mind is the price. I think it is over priced. Crepe is so easy to make in terms of ingredients and the process. If they could reassess the price the. That would be great as well. One whole crepe cake, if you wanted to by the whole thing, is apparently $80 approximately. Honey, I don't think it's worth it. I know another person that charges roughly the same price for a real authentic Italian cake which to me taste way better than their products. So it is hard to rationalize the price of $80+ for a whole crepe cake.
