Moreover they have been winning international taste awards for their outstanding products. I tried a milk based tea made with their famous the Dong Ding Oolong tea (凍頂烏龍). Dong-Ding Oolong Tea with Fresh milk was smooth tasting, sweet and creamy. Delicious. Whereas the Formosa Fruit Tea (寶島經典水果茶) was a black tea base packed with teeny pineapple bits, a bit of passion fruit seeds, paper thin slices of apples and citrus. Their offerings are plentiful, with both classic or seasonal teas on their menu. Worth a visit.

I usually opt for their signature milk tea but it was nice to switch it up to something refreshing and fruity once in a while. Check this location out, as it has a more magical touch than the others.

Also, there are no seats inside so its not the best place to hang out with friends and people usually cluster outside to enjoy the drinks.

Tip: This place is on Fantuan…read more I felt bad for my Fantuan app. I hadn't exercised any purchase on it for months. I finally opened it up to browse deals on Saturday evening. I was in Scarborough. I felt like a drink. I saw that a regular phoenix oolong lemon tea was $3 off on Fantuan at Jo's Cha. Yes! I decided to upgrade to a large. I got this drink with less sugar and less ice, as I wasn't sure how tart the lemon part of this drink would be. I also added coconut jelly. The app said that it would take twenty minutes for my drink to be made. I arrived at this plaza at around 8 pm. It was busy around the eateries. Luckily, I found parking next to Jo's Cha. My drink was ready much sooner than anticipated. It took ten minutes. I got out of my vehicle and headed inside the store. I liked the cheerful mascot. There were a few people waiting for their orders. There isn't a dedicated place to pick up your order. I waited patiently at the order area. A nice man behind the counter said hi. I reciprocated and showed him my Fantuan order. He nodded. My drink was in front of both of us. He asked me if I needed a bag. I declined, as I was going to drink it as I drove home. I thanked him and headed to my car. This drink was so good. I love oolong tea. The less sugar was perfect because there were a lot of lemon wedges floating at the top of my drink. The coconut jelly was in cubes and not all that sweet. It was refreshing, cold, and exactly what I needed. This place is known for mixing veggies with fruit. I'll need to try it next time and see how I feel. I'm not big on bitter melon, so you won't see me with any drink with that veggie. I loved my first experience here. I'll be back! (347)

The tapioca is both black and clear pearls. While they both were cooked well, the black is slightly firmer than the white, there was actually no flavor to either. Both the white and black tapioca had no sweetness or any taste, pretty much just dough balls. Summary: Try the tea but pass on the tapioca.

It's a one man show at the place so your drinks will take a long time. Our wait was 15 minutes. One kiosk for ordering. No complaints about the brown sugar boba latte (caffeine free). Taro fresh milk was a little disappointing. I thought it had taro chunks or jelly but it was a smoothie texture. Not bad for the price though. Cute store location with a few seats. Easy dessert after dinner in the area.

Well, for some reason my family had asked for HALF sugar for a CAKE. They obliged. Surprisingly it wasn't bad. The inside flavour had a layer of chestnut mousse which was also quite alright. The appearance was a little wilted. When it was being picked up, we were told that any jostling would probably dislodge the fruit topping because it was so fresh and didn't have a time to set. We didn't really get this cake to impress the eyes, just the mouth so it wasn't a huge deal.

We tried two of their best sellers: the Mango Sago with Tea Jelly and the Fresh Grapefruit Iced Tea with Aloe. Both were incredibly refreshing, but the Mango Sago was the standout for me: creamy, fruity, and perfectly balanced with the chewy tea jelly. The Grapefruit Iced Tea was also light and crisp, with aloe adding a nice texture, though I found myself leaning more toward the richness of the mango drink. It's clear that this shop puts effort into using fresh ingredients, and it pays off in flavour. Just a heads-up though, the space is very limited with only a few spots to sit, so it's best suited for grab-and-go. It's not the kind of place to lounge around, but perfect if you're in the area and looking for a quick, refreshing drink, especially if you're into fruit-forward teas. Service was quick and friendly. With so many options around, this one still manages to carve out a niche for itself. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the Midland/Finch area!

Living in small town USA, I am definitely not used to this fancy or "elevated" bubble tea. The Strawberry milk tea almost drank like a smoothie than a milk tea, but it was just what I was looking for. Rich, sweet and slightly sour...it was the perfect after dinner dessert drink. My wife's 3Q was more of a classic milk tea, with 3 different types of toppings (boba, coffee jelly and noodle jelly). The different textures made the drink quite enjoyable as well. I will definitely be back.
