And that's how I ended up here minutes before their closing time on my first day in Toronto. It's a small shop with a few tables and chairs. I was the only person on the shop when I went so, I had to quickly check Yelp to see if this place was legit. Ok, 4 stars... I like boba tea shops that let you customize the sweetness of your drink. That's what I appreciate about Bubble Lee. They have milk tea with or without boba, iced tea with lemon or lime, and slush. I placed my order for a Jasmine milk tea with boba. The boba is fresh and tender. It had a lot of ice though. I took a few sips and my drink was gone.

The boba was also top notch compares to other places. The boba's white color was unique and special. It was called Crystal Boba. We also got the Fresh Mango Cheese. It was creamy and smooth. You can taste the cheese on top of the drink. The location is conveniently located between Christie Station and Bathurst Station. It doesn't matter if you come from the West or East side, you will find this place easily. They have other items on the menu that I will definitely check out. The osmanthus oolong was quite lovely, with a fruity floral aspect to it. I'm a bit disappointed that this drink is mostly just a tea bag + sweetened milk, but the flavour is quite unique regardless. The strawberry golden shake was actually so interesting. It literally tastes like liquid strawberry cheesecake, which is may not sound delicious, but it's super delicious! I took a walk downstairs and saw their tea shop was opened with floral arrangements outside for their grand opening. In the front of their store, they have a sliding door with a display case of fresh fruits. They share the main entrance with Sushi Rock, but like many shops on Yonge and other teashops in the area, it's a take out place. The teashop decor is very clean and spacious for a take out location. I really like how they had the sliding door opened in the front so their staff can get fresh air too. My friend whose been to their teashop highly recommended the mango pomelo yogurt drink, so that was the drink I ordered today. The drink tastes amazing! There's also a lot of toppings!
