Contrary to the weather outside. The young worker behind the counter greeted me with a smile, in spite of their preoccupation in making drinks. I asked her questions to help me narrow down my choice. I settled on a creamy mango with boba. With less ice and less sweetness. It was refreshing and satisfying, next time I will ask for 80% sugar because going down to 50% was too much of a drop. The place is pretty modern inside with an exposed brick interface, it kind of gave me the impression of being on a street in Taiwan. Outside they have this cute street post sign on the side of their building. All in all, service 10 outta 10, ambiance 10 outta 10 (although when I went the only other customer had left, so knowing how loud it gets, I was not able to decipher and that may impact this rating.) And drink... ah 7 outta 10. This is because it came out to be expensive for the size . Will try again.

They also have the Boba Boy bottle that is reusable. You can put your drinks in there. The next time when you visit, bring the bottle with you and get a discount. A win-win for everyone. You can taste the cheese on top of the drink. The location is conveniently located between Christie Station and Bathurst Station. It doesn't matter if you come from the West or East side, you will find this place easily. They have other items on the menu that I will definitely check out. The only thing is I didn't get to taste the flavour of the tea as much because of the Oreo. I believe I got the drink with less sugar. 2) Orange Jasmine Tea The jasmine tea was very fragrant and pairs well with the orange. I like orange green tea so I also enjoyed this drink. I have yet to try their regular milk tea which I would get the next time I visit this place. The staff was also really nice and friendly (I believe the owner was also there). Service still needs improvement but as they just opened, it's understandable.

Sun Tea Ratings: 4/5…read more Food: 4.25/5 - Late night boba run with my boyfriend cause we are staying nearby. I mainly wanted to explore Toronto and try as many local boba shops as I can that's not in the States. Sun Tea definitely exceeded my expectations. It was also my first time trying a grape drink, so good experience overall! Please see the drink we got to share below. - Fleshly Grape [GET]: We got the drink with less ice and 30% sugar, but could be sweeter though. The drink itself was refreshing, not heavy. The tea flavors were pretty noticeable and high quality. I was surprised by the real grapes they used in the drink too, because I enjoyed them more than I expected. They tasted fresh and delicious. The toppings were only average though. The tapioca boba was chewy but a bit mushy, think it was cooked too long, and the agar boba was not as bouncy as I like it to be. Ambiance: 3.75/5 - Tiny boba shop located on Yonge, probably only fits around 4-5 people at most. The interior is clean, bright, and organized. There's nothing much to see. As soon as you walk in, you see the menu displayed on the TVs and an open kitchen. This place is only for take outs, and there's no indoor seating available. Not a place to hang with friends. Price: 4/5 - The Fleshly Grape is one of their popular drinks. We substituted the jelly topping for tapioca boba instead at no additional cost. The total came up to be around $9 after tax. I would say pretty pricey, but quality is there and tasted pretty decent. Service: 4/5 - There were two staffs working there. One of them took our orders while the other staff was preparing the drinks. They were friendly, and I'd say the service is like your typical boba shop customer service you can find anywhere else. BLUF: Offers interesting and unique flavors drinks, mainly specializes in fruit teas on Yonge. I would recommend any of their fruit teas or slushy, and get half sugar. I recommend get some other toppings, the honey boba and agar boba was just okay, maybe I was just unlucky that day or because it was late in the day, so the batch weren't that fresh, but definitely still worth of a try if you are in the area and if this is your first time!

Customer service is definitely NOT their strong point…read more Today is my bday and I came in, the male cashier is looking down doing something, and I asked if they still honoured a free bday drink. He said "Yes". while looking down and preparing a label/doing something for a takeout order. If a Customer is standing right in front of you, shouldn't you be taking their order, not putting a label on a drink? Anyway, cashier was just preoccupied doing something else and just walks away, saying that he'll be right back. When he finally comes back and scans my App, he says, "Oh, you haven't made a purchase recently...I can't give you a free drink. I can only give you a drink if you buy one now on the App. The bday drink is not for new customers." Wow. I ended up getting my standard drink of -[OOLONG MILK TEA] in large $4.49 with the least amount of ice and sugar possible! I usually always go for this flavor of milk tea because Oolong is one of my favorite flavors of tea to drink. This is usually how I establish a baseline to see whether or not I'll be back to try some more adventurous drinks! If you're wondering, I'll definitely be back and I have my eyes on a couple of drinks already.... -[TIRAMISU MILK TEA] *seasonal* I guess I have to go back REALLY soon or else this drink may evade me forever D: -[STRAWBERRY EARL GREY MILK TEA] This sounds like it could very well be up my alley because I love earl grey and the flavor of strawberry! I honestly don't see how this combination of flavors could go wrong so I guess I'll have to try either this or the tiramisu one on my next visit! Give this place a try because I heard their cheese foam pairs really well with their Oolong Milk tea! (I still have to try this combination to verify it but I trust the friend who told me this haha)

We got the mango black tea with milk foam and mango smoothie with pineapple jelly. The mango black tea was so good! It is now one of my favourites. You can taste the mango pulp in the drink, and the milk foam is a nice touch. The mango smoothie was average, nothing outstanding. However, the pineapple jelly was different and went well with the smoothie. A bonus is that their prices are not as expensive as the big chains here like Coco, Chatime, etc. Great place for good and reasonably priced bubble tea. Would recommend you give it a try!

And that's how I ended up here minutes before their closing time on my first day in Toronto. It's a small shop with a few tables and chairs. That's what I appreciate about Bubble Lee. They have milk tea with or without boba, iced tea with lemon or lime, and slush. I placed my order for a Jasmine milk tea with boba. The boba is fresh and tender. It had a lot of ice though. I took a few sips and my drink was gone.
