The short answer: We love Snohomish Pest Control - hire them. They are professional and fairly priced. And, as always, now a bit longer answer: We have had an ongoing battle with wasps and yellow jackets for many years. They not only chase us off our decks, but they are also a direct danger to my husband due to his allergies. I have tried oh-so many ways to handle them myself to no avail. I have even had companies come out here to give me bids. As the guy is telling me we do not have a problem he is batting them away...yeah...no thank you. The other day my daughter and I were driving home from Town & Country Market (another fan favorite of mine) as we came upon a truck for Snohomish Pest Control. I called immediately (which means once I was in position to do so safely and legally...). The gal that answered the phone was so helpful and scheduled me right then. She even explained why the visit needed to take place when it was not raining since these wretched beasts (my words) were not out and about in such weather. Thank you! Jordan, the owner of Snohomish Pest Control, showed up on time and was amazing! Here are just a few of the reasons I say that: * He was respectful of me and my home. * He didn't freak out over our very large puppy, nor did he do anything to make that encounter worse by trying to engage with her. I say that because Valor is already big and "busy". I don't need someone "ramping her up". Jordan already understood that. * Jordan listened. YAY! * Next, he walked the entire property, again listening to my concerns. * After that, he explained everything he was suggesting he do, clearly and specifically. He also made sure I knew the chemicals they use would not hurt my pets or koi, nor would they kill mason or honey or bumble bees. We have been dealing with ants and contacted Snohomish Pest Control to ask for a quote. We ended up scheduling service for the following day which was great! Boo was our technician and my husband said he was professional and friendly. He also left us some bait to put out if we needed it which was super kind and has been helpful. We noticed some carpenter ants in our sunroom late afternoon, so we called Snohomish Pest Control ( we have an annual contract with them). They sent a technician the following day who dealt with the problem quickly and efficiently, explaining the treatment he had used and how to keep our pets safe for the next couple of days.....and it cost us nothing. I called after noticing buzzing in my walls and spotting bees getting in through a small gap in my siding. I had these guys come by after I found a couple mice in my garage just to check if there was a bigger problem going on in my home. They took a survey of my property pointed out all the possible points of entry and what we should fix. They did not try to upsell us and were very straight forward which we greatly appreciated! Not to mention that the price of the service was very reasonable. Overall this was a exceptionally valuable service. GREAT to work with my business. Had a fantastic experience with this company and so grateful they came out to my business to address some rodent concerns we had. Since the last 12 months we have had bad rat issues. The "other guys" came to set traps and check various areas. They weren't very enthusiastic and lacked the effort required for a proper diagnostic and ultimately issues continued for the past 6 months. Jordan came out to check on a potential wasp infestation. We had found wasps inside the house a few times over several weeks, leading us to believe there might be a nest somewhere inside. Jordan arrived quickly and did a thorough check of the house inside and out, including climbing into the attic. He didn't find any signs of a nest (phew!), but did have some recommendations for avoiding potential pest situations in the future, like cutting back some nearby bushes, cleaning out the gutters, etc. While we didn't need his services for pest removal this time, I will certainly call him if we run into problems in the future. Jimmie came out to help us deal with a spider infestation and potential mice in crawl space. He swept for spider webs very thoroughly, plugged potential mouse entry points into the crawl space, set traps, and sprayed for spiders and other creepy crawlers. He did a great job! Do not recommend these people because of their limited knowledge and capabilities. No Size Fits All when it comes to insect infestation. Their solution was ineffective and expensive for the results. read more
