It's a small shop tucked in the more quiet corner of a shopping plaza. I was the only one there upon entering and it appeared only one employee was working. After looking at their menu, i saw they do have some food choices like popcorn chicken, popcorn shrimp , and french fries. They have a few choices of milk tea, fruit teas, matcha, and blended drinks. I ended up getting a large milk tea with extra ice and creme brulee. The brulee was 1.50 more and the total for the drink was about $7. Tastewise it was a decent milk tea and brulee does bring it up a notch. It doesn't beat tastea's tiger milk tea but it's better than a few places I've tried.

It was popping for a Tuesday night around 8:30 (FYI, they close at 9pm). I've never had anything quite like it. It's basically shave snow with ice cream layered in between. I loved mine! I got the "Tropical Treat". It had real pineapple and orange juice, fresh strawberries, and vanilla soft serve. The real fruit juice made it so good and so refreshing. Seriously though, the strawberries and ice cream were the best part. It was so creamy and such a yummy dessert. I highly recommend it. It's super unique. I have to come back to try all the flavors. There are so many to choose from!! Seven dollars for a small, and the small was a hefty size. Very good for the price. You definitely have to come here.

BOGO Icy Grass Jelly Signature 9/23-25…read more I have mixed feelings and struggle with the Irvine store. It's at a convenient location and near other eats we frequent, but it is probably one of the most run down Meet Fresh locations we've been to in SoCal. The booth chairs are peeling, there's an unrepaired leak in the ceiling. The bathroom fan is broken so it's stuffy and gross, and the floor is constantly wet. It's hard to believe Irvine Company would allow them to operate in this condition. Furthermore, they do not enforce the Health and Safety code by allowing non-service dogs. Onto their signature grass jelly which is their flagship offering and one we fell in love with when they first opened over 12 years ago. BOGO made the inflated price a lot easier to swallow. We had it twice this week and the last day was not so good. Since it was Friday and with the BOGO offer, it was crazy busy, but we got our food pretty quickly by ordering online. Today's serving was 15% less than their normal serving. The worst part was the grass jelly was noticeably bitter and I'm not sure if that was a good thing. Also, the shaved ice wasn't from grass jelly, it was herbal syrup poured over regular shaved ice as you could tell the texture, consistency, and taste were different. I also watched them make it this way. Halfway through my bowl, I noticed white caking parts in the grass jelly, and we've never seen that before. When I asked the staff, she said it was normal because they're going through grass jelly batches more quickly due to the promo. I was dubious and she offered to make another, which was nice of her.

Both workers didn't really try to assist or say something until you come up to the register to tell them you are ready to go order. As a basic vanilla and chocolate lover, I always opt for the Original Cream Puff shell with Vanilla cream - I feel like this one tastes more creamier than the chocolate one, but chocolate is good too! My boyfriend loves ordering the different flavored shells, but tbh, the shells are a little too much for me aka too sweet (ex: raspberry chocolate shell, Oreo shell, etc.) and not necessary to enjoy their cream puffs. If I could have a dream dessert at my wedding (or just in general), it would be infinite Beard Papa's!!!

I Came in to buy some Sonny angels originally but then realized I had some rewards to use for my next purchase. While I was waiting in line, a customer went straight to the cashier and got tended. I loudly asked the staff behind the register where did the line begin and they pointed out right where I was standing. I said "then why isn't she in the back?" One of the employees looked at me and said "ohhh..." then continued to ignore me and continued to tend the customer. I let it go since I was two people away. Once it's my turn to get two my yummy cream puffs, I expressed I had rewards and wanted to use them (I chose the in-person option). The cashier told me I could only use them online through the app. Mind you I was using the app in fact. She then called another employee (youngster Asian girl) and they seemed confused and unsure on what to do. They kept telling me I could only use my rewards online so I asked "then why did it ask me to choose to use them in person or online?" I could see one the young girl manually waiving it and they charged me. I let it go. Once I finished my desert, I decided I wanted to buy one more trinket so I got in line again and got tended to pay. As I was saying thank you, the young Asian girl, rudely tells me to use the online reward option on the app next time that way she doesn't have to deal with all of that and doesn't contradict the managers rules. She says she doesn't know how to app works but to use it online regardless so I don't make it harder on them. I got pretty upset and disappointed at this statement as I shouldn't be told what to do if I am being asked options on the app itself. This is something Beard papas should be improving and training their employees on when team meetings happen. Not tell customers in a very unprofessional and rude way on what to do. Yikes

The location was less than an hour before closing when we came in, but we never felt rushed. Our Avocado Musubis were ready very fast. We took it to go and enjoyed them the car. The musubi had great ratio of spam and rice. Some spots skimp or the spam is thinly cut. Tiger Plate did not do any of that. The combo of avocado and spam was an interesting mix, and it had the tasty umami flavor. I'd love to try the other options. This spot seems popular per all the reviews and if we found ourselves in this area again. I wouldn't mind popping by again. ( ^_^)b
