We stopped here after dinner recently. I never get excited for vanilla, but the kids decided that's what they wanted. I tried a spoonful and have to say it's the best vanilla ice cream I've ever had. My kids love the variety of Ice Cream they have here. Flavors like bubble gum, cotton candy, strawberry etc.

This location has so far been my favorite michoacana place. Their mangonada is really great here. I've gotten it on multiple occasion and noticed that its made differently by employee. It just kinda ranges of how they put the chamoy and the layers. It's been made different each time that I have gotten it. My main complaint is when i only get one layer of mangos haha. I love it when its mangos at the bottom, middle, and top instead of just at the top. Allows me to have mangos throughout the treat. The mango sorbet here is really good too! Not overly sweet and has been one of the better ones that I've had. They have a wide range of paletas (ice cream bars) to select from. They have both fruit based and milk based. I always try to get a different one but I would say I prefer their milk based better for sure. Gives it a softer consistency and sweeter. My favorite go to is always the strawberry but theres SOOO many options to select from. It's great for the family cause i'm sure there's a flavor for everyone to select from! Sometimes its so hard to just choose one that I think the most i've gotten for myself alone was like 3-4... I haven't had any of their snacks here but they have tajin fruits, elotes, nachos, etc. Mexican street snacks and they also have agua fresca. I haven't had any of these yet. Each time I come I debate about it.. but we're usually visiting after a meal and come for dessert.. so haven't brought myself to had one of their snacks yet. We were in the area and stopped in for some ice cream. They have choices for everyone, both in flavors and options. Lots of paletas, ice cream, mangonadas, bionicos, aguas frescas, and even tostilocos and esquites. My stand out flavors were guava and tamarindo, which are in a sorbet style. The location is in a strip mall with lots of other businesses, so parking was pretty easy. We enjoyed our treats inside the store, which was clean and spacious. I'm still looking for the elusive prickly pear paleta or even a prickly pear ice cream would be great. I had that flavor in the actual state of Michoacan at several paleterias there, so I hope one day La Michoacana will offer it. read more

This is my favorite branch - the workers here are super nice with great customer service. When we come here we like to stock up on treats for about 2 weeks. I'm oddly paranoid about my paletas melting so they give me a bag of ice for me to put the popsicles in which is really nice of them. You can't go wrong with any of the flavors - if you like a certain flavor you'll like it here. The dairy paletas are my favorite but the non-dairy ones are also quite refreshing if that's your preference. These also make for great house party treats - everyone loves them! Staff wears masks and people aren't allowed to sit inside yet due to COVID - area was nice and clean. read more

Once we made our choices service was swift and no issues whatsoever. Inside: Super adorable setup with a great Instagram worthy wall. Enough chairs available to sit on for two or four to a table. Food: The options are outstanding. You've got the range from chocolate, rich and creamy, to more fruit like flavors and that's not even counting all of the topping options too. If you're craving it there is something for you at La Michoacana Delights. We went for the more fruity mix with guava. No issues and no complaints about flavor. My friend and I came by to get some fruit last week at around noon and I was received with horrible service. As soon as I walked in the girl looked annoyed to help us out. I wanted a frutada and I asked what I could get with it, she then proceeded to roll her eyes and slam her hands on the glass counter as it it was obvious what went in my order. I just love how spacious and clean this place is.. Being from San Jose... the palaterias are in the hood, super dirty and small hole in the walls.. BUT, I have to say that the street corn and ice cream are a little better in San Jose. We got: (1) gooseberry paletas-- taste like artificial cherry.. a little bit too sweet (2) mango con chile-- should've just gotten a mangonada.. it was good though! It tasted a tad bitter. (3) street corn-- with everything on it... there just wasn't enough of anything.. not enough lime, not enough tapatio, not enough cheese... tooooo much mayo lol ... I've been wanting to try this place out for FOREVER now, ever since I started seeing them pop up almost EVERYWHERE in Orange County. Just my luck, they were always closed by the time I got there. I FINALLY got the chance because I had an early dinner for once. La Michaocana Delights is located in a little shopping strip on Tustin, close to Collins (across the way from Stater Bros). There's tons of parking, but be careful because the direction you drive in the parking lot is super weird and not everyone pays attention. The shop itself is pretty big! There's a couple of large tables to sit at on one side and the other side is for the ice cream counter. There's even a little spot you can take pictures for the 'gram. I was definitely overwhelmed by all the different options. You can get nieves (ice cream), paletas (pop bars), especialdes (specialties), and so much more. The price varies on what you're getting. The crazier speciality items can get a bit expensive, but other than that, everything else was pretty decent. The employee working there said we could try different things if we wanted. There were SO many different flavors in both regular ice cream and sorbet kinds. I tried the guava sorbet, but I ended up getting the cotton candy flavor and the caramel. HOLY CRAP. I've never tasted something so good before. The boyfriend got the abuelita one (chocolate with cinnamon) and the Ferrer Rocher flavors. The service was great! There was only one employee working and she killed it. We got there right before the rush of people got there, but she handled it perfectly and was super nice. I DEFINITELY want to come back because there are so many more flavors I want to try. I was trying to convince my bf to buy me a horchata flavor paleta so I could eat it to go, but he wouldn't let me. Finally tried this place out tonight and SO glad we did! The server was patient with all our questions, and super friendly which makes a big difference! We got the mangonada, a strawberry popsicle, and a scoop of the Ferraro rocher ice cream which was creamy and not too sweet, just wonderful! The mangonada was also delicious. Their Paletas are the Best! We had a Thanksgiving party last month. We rented the paleta cart again with multiple paleta flavors and our guests were the most excited over this. We didn't have any leftover for ourselves. So the next day, we dropped by La Michoacana Delights store to pick up desserts for us. Service when coordinating with this company for a party is terrible. We tried to book them for my baby shower. I filled out their online form. No reply. DM'd them on IG a couple of times. Finally after NUMEROUS attempts they got back to my husband and started to coordinate with us. I'll note that their response was extremely annoying when they tried to contact us back. I was DM'd that they called my husband to follow up however they called him 3x within 10 mins while he's working. I'd hardly say that validates a good response to an inquiry. When my husband and the owner finally spoke we were given a form to fill out for flavors for our event. Okay, done. When we get back to them with what we want they say okay. Week of our event we are following up for a quote and only the owner says he can't service us. He had thought our party was in Fullerton when countless times we mentioned it would be in the arts district of LA. I get it, it's a distance BUT before anyone comes at me we took account of the delivery fees because on their quotes it was mentioned for traveling/distance and NOWHERE did it indicate there was a limit in how far they'd go. Our office ordered 4 dozen of the paletas pop bars in assorted agua and crema flavors and it was absolutely delicious. The pop bars in fruit and cream tasted so freshly made.
